Is that a lie? If it is, I'll apologise right now. Secondly, is that all I typed down? In your paranoid bid to make this thread tribalistic against other ethnic groups, you missed out where I typed this down, "I see it as a smart move! That way they never lose out totally!". I'm not really for long essays right now. So, do/think what . . .na you wahala be that. |
bashr8: shut up ode, did u read the whole post ACN and tinubu are waiting for bribe from pdp to betray cpc againRe-read my comment before insulting me. Then apologise. |
I no talk am?! ![]() The SE has never and will never play the opposition in Nigeria! If the coalition is about winning, the SE will join the coalition. I see it as a smart move! That way they never lose out totally! That's why ACN/CPC are unsure about the SE. The SE has "NEVER" played the opposition in Nigeria's history. |
Charles1234, Nice pics! Beautiful state!!! The Governor is indeed trying! |
Chinom: ...and Fernandez and all those Brazilian Lagosians are from Rio de Janeiro. Ewu.. All our ancestors came from somewhere else centuries ago.I agree but regardless, that indigene stuff does not work and you should know that so what is stop you from contesting in Lagos? Last election, some Igbos contested, didn't they? Were they indigenes? |
bittyend: These fools are still arguing the ownership of Lagos smh.. That is the truth!!!! The situation is similar to the black community in UK. We though we were alot until we found that that we are less than 2% of the total population, yet you see us everywhere. |
afam4eva: Do you any concrete proof?Concrete proof?! Afam, you are better than this! Shebi you be Lagosian You don forget so soon when this was revealed? |
Senator Grace Folashade Bent is a Yoruba woman but represents Southern Adamawa senatorial district in the Senate. In this interview with Sunday Trust, she gives reasons why she crossed the mountains to Adamawa state to be married to Major Jackson Bent (rtd), her relationship with her in-laws, and how she operates, being one of the few women in a male-dominated National Assembly. Excerpts: Senator Grace Folashade Bent |
Chinom: CRASS IGNORANCE !!. Nigeria has an Indigene clause in it's constitution which excludes non-indigenes from contesting elections or representing the people of a state. A yoruba man from Ogun state(next door neighbour)CANNOT contest for the house of assemly in Lagos state. There are moves in the National assembly to remove the ïndigene clause and replace it with residency and place of birth. An Igboman born and bred in Obalende cannot make the ACN list of candidates for the house of assembly. However, a political party can take a ridical step and nominate a non indigene, but the reality is that most party members will oppose that.Ignoramus, was a Yoruba woman not part of the representatives of Adamawa state in the last adminstration? Is she an indigene? |

Some people talk as if they've never stepped foot in Nigeria.Tinubu is from Osun and he ruled Lagos. |
Funkymallam: Lol. Jokes! ![]() |
winnie-G:That's why ACN/CPC are unsure about the SE. The SE has "NEVER" played the opposition in Nigeria's history. |
Demdem: of cos he will, what else are u expecting. he is noted for failure right from his bayelsa days. Thats simply him.Demdem, I will not insult GEJ. Nevertheless, if (don't write him off because he may surprise Nigeria, who knows?) he does continue, then the merger stands a chance!! |
afam4eva: An ACN/CPC combo will only do better than the last time but they can't win the election. PDP will rule for a long time to come unless other parties stop being myopic. This is a step in the right direction but they must reach out to other zones or else this will be an effort in futility.Spot-on! |
Demdem:APGA is needed if they are to stand a chance against PDP. You cannot ignore the any large group in Nigeria, ignore any large group and you lose. |
If there is an ACN/CPC merger and GEJ continues this way till 2015, he will likely lose or at least there will be a run off. Why? Acn will win the SW (6 states) + Kwara and possibly Kogi CPC will repeat the 2011 election (12 states) This will make a total of 17 states (or 18 if Kogi is won). If APGA joins, that will make it 23 states out of 36 states. |
APGA is needed in the union! |
Funkymallam: And u think d Middlebelt, Jigawa, Gombe, Yobe, Taraba and Adamawa will vote CPC? Dream on bro. ![]() https://blogs.cfr.org/campbell/files/2011/04/bbcmapPxlr.jpg |
stivin: i think there might be some truth in the Ijaw-Agenda-talk.@The black highlight: Bro, it is NOT well. @The red highlight You got that spot on! |
V_Official®:My guy, love is still blind! No mind the ones wey dey this site! |
Probably a typo but if true . . .smh! |
The DG of National Maritime and Safety Administration (NIMASA) occupied by an Itsekiri folk was removed and pronto another Ijaw man was appointed with dispatch. Mr. President is aware that the Urhobos and other nationalities who subscribed to the Amnesty Programme were excluded from the programme, while the few that are enlisted are shut out from the training programme. It will not serve any purpose if we point out the Multi Billion Naira Presidential Amnesty Programme headed by another Ijaw folk from a fringe riverine community in Ondo state. SMH! Mchew |
PapaBrowne: Exactly what I was about to ask! What contribution did previous Urhobo appointments do to the development of Urhobo communities. Even Ijaws that have the President, how has Bayelsa state or other Ijaw enclaves changed in the last 5 years? All these are political trollers with no interest in development.C'mon, don't be a hypocrite. ![]() You were among those who believed that having a "son of the soil" means Niger-deltan will be prosperous. |
Btw, if you lived in Benin for 5 yrs, what has that got to do with what I said. Even Bini sef dey my immediate family so wetin you dey yarn?! ![]() |
NRI PRIEST:Mister, I am not ignorant, AT ALL! I know what I am saying. I shall wait for ANY Uhrobo to debunk my claim. You are the Ignorant one here. |
![]() |
NRI PRIEST: Who appointed your amebo mouth lagos speakerGuy, you go just injure yasef! ![]() Why aren't Uhrobos complaining?! Alot of Igbo men marry Uhrobos in case you didn't know. |
stillwater: Lol, I don't even look Yoruba. Only grew up in Lagos and that's where it ends. ![]() |
The Governor is indeed trying!
You don forget so soon when this was revealed?
