NRI PRIEST: Alh harem,so every Igbo girl born in lagos will openly date a yoruba?? You are deceiving yourself and you know it!What are you on about. I thought yall were having a civil discussion but I thought wrong. Btw, what is paining you exactly?! I also know Igbo men that marry from other ethnic groups and I don't see the other groups complaining. PS: Pls, stop the alj harem thing. If I was him I would have confessed a long time ago, that should be obvious. ![]() |
stillwater: Lollll, better not get hyperactive over nothing. Your brothers have been throwing 'FACTS'That is the koko of the matter !@All: Me sef done engage to a very sweet Igbo chick o! WTF has tribe got to do with this? In matters like this, I'll NEVER put any tribal interest above my personal interest. Itsekiri, Uhrobo, Ika, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa etc I don't care!@Afam You said Igbo women are hardworking?! ![]() The reason I love my chick certainly has nothing to do with any 'hardworking nature' (she is not that hardworking ) but has to do with OUR connection. Btw, she was born and raised in Lagos! |
By Olayemi Fofah The House of representatives committee on industry has recently expressed concern over the controversial seizure and auctioning of 25 containers bearing CKD{Completely Knocked Down} parts belonging to an industrialist, Chief, Dr. Innocent Chukwuma. The committee which were on a working visit to Innoson Plastic Plant at Emene, Enugu state were shocked when the Chairman of the company ,Dr Chukwuma explained how the customs impounded the components imported for the assembly of motorcycles by his company, which were later sold to unknown buyers without compensation to his company. The committee which comprised ten lawmakers has promised to wade into the matter as they were amazed by the actions of customs services. “My main problem now is how to settle the banks that have financed the importation. My ordeal started in 2004 when the 25 containers valued then at N800 million were imported, but impounded and later sold by the customs service officials. “I have gone to court to seek redress, judgment was delivered in my favor, but the customs only paid 30 per cent of the whole sum and refused to pay the balance. I have tried within my capacity to pay some part of the money to the banks that financed the business yet they are still threatening and harassing me with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission {EFCC} officials” he explained. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/06/reps-wade-into-innosons-auctioned-parts/ |
Why not do all these "gragra" with Boko haram? Cowards! |
ypzilanti: Dude, stop being dAft. Google was created for a reason. Do your research. 'what has been known for long' is not a valid argument. It was 'known' for long that the earth was at the center of the universe and all the planets rotated around it. Also 'it was known' that the earth was flat.He will not apologise, NEVER! ![]() |
nakedall: The building go collapse soon!STFU! |
Ha, BEAF, my apologies! The 15% stuff from Ogun state has to do with the mega city project! The Lagos Mega City Development Authority is undertaking the LRMT scheme from Iddo to Ijoko as a priority project for implementation within the mega-city. The LRMT scheme is being financed by the Federal Government (45%), Lagos State Government (40%), and Ogun State Government (15%). |
Beaf: FG: 45% + LSG: 40% + Ogun state: 15%. TOTAL = 100%Beaf, re-read my post. jason123: No one will get you a link because they are lairs! How can ECOWAS love Lagos so much to give Nigerians a railway, free of charge? Are they that daft |
All in all, a proper investigation should be done! |
OP, this is a VERY serious allegation o! If its not true, consider yourselves (you and your source) finished! |
Both (Omakay and revolva) of them don run comot! ![]() |
manny4life: Anyone with the Link to an ECOWAS project? My people, let us STOP spreading lies, hatred and rumors. It doesn't do good justice to neither of us. Unless I'm wrong, Lagos Rail is a PPP project, so I'm confused to how it's an ECOWAS project. Nevertheless, like I previously stated before, light rail is economically efficient than monorail, the numbers speak for themselves. No one will get you a link because they are lairs! How can ECOWAS love Lagos so much to give Nigerians a railway, free of charge? Are they that daft ? I mean, its not even an intercity rail (except Ogun state), not to talk of a rail that connects Nigeria with Benin rep. So, what would be the point of ECOWAS (all west african countries Most of these guys are simply daft! In this project, the public sector contribution is as shown: FG: 45% LSG: 40% Ogun state: 15% Private sector: With financing led by Investec Plc |
Eko Rail is entering into an innovative public-private partnership with the government of Lagos State to equip, operate and maintain the Blue Line for 25 years. Negotiations are being finalized and a concession agreement is expected to be signed in the near future. Lagos State has already started to make significant progress with building the rail tracks and stations. Eko Rail is utilizing URS Scott Wilson, one of the world's leading railway infrastructure consultancies, to ensure that the infrastructure is built to global standards. |
The Lagos State Government is also constructing a light rail system under a public private partnership (PPP). |
Initially Omakay came and after being confronted, ran away. Now Revolva too don run away. Why nau?! ![]() |
alj harem: we keep hearing Ecowas left and right but we can't find a link or documentation to this Ecowas deal Nigeria/Lagos made with Ecowas.+1 They are just being mischievously silly! |
I didn't know the WHOLE WEST AFRICA love Lagos!!! ![]() |
Revolva: Its an ecowas project fool what else do you wanna know abi are you a bad belle for your own nation the purpose of the projects is to meet transportation needs of nigerians and benenois even ghanaians togolese , ok bitch ask googleOde'son, bring out ANY link to support your claim or forever remain shut!!! |
alj harem: SMH so you know you are not an architect or structural engineer and you think those factors would not have been taken into acocunt ?What I am saying is that he has a point. |
Arosa: Thanks Jason123.Bro, I am not an architect or structural engineer but I clearly see what you were talking about it. Lagos is a coastal state and the vibration from the trains can cause "liquefaction" (where the sand compresses to the bottom) and that can cause an uneven distribution of weight. You make sense guy! |
Mr Omakay. wetin happen? Una no fit prove am?! ![]() Mehn, how can the WHOLE WEST AFRICAN love lagos so so much that they (west africa including Accra in Ghana etc) decided to build a railway to serve JUST Lagos state?! Some crazy statements you hear/see on NL! SMH |
Arosa has an understandable reason to be pessimistic about the building. I see no wrong in it! |
Whatever it is. . .it is being done and that's all that matters. Sheesh!!!! By the way, is Lagos the only gateway to other West African Countries?!! Yeah. . .that's what I thought.https://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/29.gif
You dey mind am?! Na only Lagos be gateway to other WEST AFRICAN COUNTRIES! Funny stuffs |
omakay: It is an ECOWAS project. Lagos State is benefiting because it serves as gateway to other West African Countries.....You are very funny! Anyway, prove it or forever shut it! |
Beaf: I do not see any access for disabled people. There should at least be a ramp or lift. This is the best comment here! Nice one Lagos state! |
chima12: close your rotten mouth their, who doesnt know that you highlighted the names because of their tribe?idiootic ape.Your post is so stupi.d but I'll follow up on it. Okay Mr. Chima, what would be the point/essence/reason for doing that? What do you think want to achieve Think for once before you use your paranoid mentality to ruin the thread.Until you give me a possible reason(s) why anyone would highlight their names because of their ethnicity, you will remain regarded as a silly person. |
all4naija: I still disagree. The suspension is not actually what you would see in a suspension bridge. Even without the ones on IKoyi Bridge most of the bridge can still stand. The pictures posted by Jason123 is a testament to that. The point where the cables are in contact with the bridge just tens of meters away have supports. Take a closer look at the first and last picture by Jason123.You are misunderstanding. Even if its just "tens of meters"; those "tens of meters" cannot support themselves, can they? I am not a structural engineer but I sure know that to have a full suspension bridge of that length, you'll need at least 3 pillars with each about 3 times a high as the one currently being built. |
jmaine: Oga mi, your man dey alright oo!Boss, I am glad you are safe! Odinaka00: Omo dz headline na die o, put A̶̲̥̅♏ for sun news paper 2mrw morning, dem go sell market die...."Fashola rescues 3 kids" hw did he do it? from their own perspective you didn't have problems with it, because it was sweeting your belle. Better let me a female's perspective to this issue. [size11pt]
In matters like this, I'll NEVER put any tribal interest above my personal interest. Itsekiri, Uhrobo, Ika, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa etc I don't care!
