alj_harem:
and a lot more, go to modrenghana, republicreport, odili news, sun newspaper, etc and all other Igbo owned websites. What a waste cry
alj_harem:
lagos greatest asset is not fashola or awololo or any other godamnit name but its position as a formal FCt of which was built into the nations commercial nerve by amongst all the SEAPORT.

The relocation of nlgn no doubt will have a little effect, but what will bring lagos to its kneel wud be a deep seaport in Portharcourt or Akwa-ibom, linked to an Aba and Onitsha inland container port, and then  Nnewi and Aba EPZs,  that in place LAGOS will seize to exist, southwest will time-travel back to 1967 into an agrarian society, low standard of living, possibly renewal of slave trading ( trading their children- this time knowingly).

Every other step in that territory will be littered with high powered concentrated juju, rituals will be the order of the day.  no more igbos to abuse hence they will turn on themselves, firstly to Ijebus ( as the black sheeps), then to Abeokwuta - for overshadowing the rest. soon the awori man wud declare his true status and ethnicity.

just imagine Lagos losing west-minister and all those tank farms !, yes, 78% of the contents of those tanks travel outside Lagos and SW, would it not be more judicious to transport it by a barge from portharcourt or Akwa-Ibom deep seaport to Onitsha oil tank farm, then proceed to lokoja tank farm - which wud cater for Abuja consumption , then to niger tank farm - which wud in turn cater for the north west. Onitsha wud also cater for the middle belt and the rest of the north.

You don't need a person with a discern mind to see through what is going on. A day will come when OPC will turn on the local Igbos in Lagos(wait and see them make noise). The only thing that is annoying me is that the innocent ones including the Igbos in my family and cool peeps like Afam and Yarodin etc, will be affected.

Onlytruth, Nchara and Ezeuche have done a great disservice to the Ndigbo. Middle Belters are seeing the hate some Igbos have for them. The SW is seeing it. The SS can smell it from a distance but because of OIL, they can't show their true feelings towards us. Lets keep watching!

@guoono,

Gowon is an elderstateman, agentle man if u ask my opinion, he'll generally apologise since the war was prosecuted under him. But we will be lying to ourselves if we ever pretend that Gowon regrets the creation he labored hard to keep - Nigeria.

I dont want to delve into the history of the civi lwar but frankly speaking, there's no time ojukwu ever made a good deal with other tribes as to how to share the spoils when the war was over. In warfare as i know, a deal must always be on the table for whoever is going to support b/4 anyof such group can even think of supporting you.

What deal did ojukwu make with the southwest?
what deal did he make with the middle belters, south south who owns the vast resources which were going to be under his control if he'd suceeded.
How could any of these group support his (ojukwu's) war without any concrete deal on the table.
Ezeokwu!!!! This is MY major problem with Ojukwu and the war! No deal with anyother ethnic group except some MWesterner Igbo. That was it.

Yet, other ethnic groups are being reminded everyday that they are traitors, Saboteurs and betrayers, for what?? What agreement did he have with anyone?

the only way se loses it is if they don't put out a candidate early
According to GEJ, he said he'll not run 2015. GEJ is in PDP and PDP has internal democracy. There will be primaries. What in the world makes you think the whole NORTH will not back David mark as a sign of unity between the core north and the MB?? What makes you think the SS will not vote for a middle belter for the help they rendered us during the GEJ crisis (hypothetically speaking). The SW, neither here or there ( I see them going the SE way though undecided). I though we all agreed that there was no zoning?

@joey82. The link between what your brothers did at vanguard HQ and OJUKWU is that your brothers said they regreted fighting on the side of nigeria because today they see what OJUKWU had seen and fought for. If u say your people that were involved in the war are not regreting, then u lie. Gowon had indirectly and many atimes rendered apology to the igbo people. I have followed the MB cases with fulanis, and when ever i see children and women, how they are butchered as though they were cow, i weep within. Women and children are so harmless that any people who targets them at war is worse than devil. Even though Muhammad fought from place to place, i dont think he ever killed children and women rather he turned them to slaves. May GOD accept the souls of the mothers and children that died in the massacre.
Ojukwu saw all this??
He must have been a prophet!

He saw all this, yet, he did not see that Nigeria would still be ONE after the war? shocked

My brother, na so we see am oo. Any effort, as I have constantly attempted, to show folks we must rise above the ethnic divide-and-conquer ruse our leaders use to subjugate and distract us, is always met with rabid bigotry. How can any sensible Nigerian, even minimally aware of how Nigeria works, think that their own leaders are innocent? They are all rogues and thieves !!!! The pragmatic focus should be on individuals, wherever they are from, who can deliver. Viewing ourselves holier than others is just pandering to crass self-deception.

The NDDC (Niger delta development commission) is the classic example I use because it is actually a cesspit of corruption when one would ordinarily expect "sons of the soil" in charge to be passionate about developing the ND. What have the "sons of the soil" been doing with funds allocated for the development of the ND? embezzling it is what they have been doing. Next minute, an ignorant person will tell us it is "parasitic" Yarobus and "Almajiris" who cause all the propblems of the ND. Conveniently, he forgets "his own" brother laughing all the way to the bank and happy to live their domain underdeveloped.

Allison-Madueke is the most corrupt of them all. Yet you will see ignorant folks here leading other gullible souls astray via telling them she is "cleaning" up the system. Nigeria is a frustrating view of nationhood.
Bruv, as a Deltan, we see things above ethnicity. No educated Niger-delta will accuse any ethnic group (be it Igbo, Yoruba or may be Hausa) corruption. The so-called NNDC is so so so scandalous. If you know what happens in there (my family friends connected), you'll close you mouth and run from Nigeria.

NDDC is basically paroposim to the highest level! The corruption in there is so great, my goodness. All majority of the ethnic groups in the ND are there, then, there is quota system. The money given for development is simply shared among all of them, no one is spared!

There are only two ethnic groups in Nigeria. The elitist Leaders and the masses!

As far as i know Naija, the middle belt is the most fragmented geo political zone, with different ethnics, infact one can hardly even tell the boundaries since some ethnics prefer to have affinities with people of other geo political zones.

Btw, Is anybody supposed to apologise for fighting to keep Naija a 1 indivisible entity?
These little boys are just ranting, just the other day, all the middle belt elders gathered at the arewa consultative forum (a purely northern people organisation) prominent amongst the dignitaries was David Mark from the idoma extraction.

But they're just been cautious because anything Igbo put hand go turn to something else. Oour history can speak for itself. We don't boast. Some years back Igbos in Kaduna withstood their ground against rampaging hausa/fulani youths that the Governor of that state had to beg the Igbos to calm down. Igbos don't look for trouble but when they're pushed to the wall and cannot hold it any longer, everybody will bear the full grunt. he who has ear let him ear. E
Bros Afam, I used that just to shut Point-B up. I know Ndigbo and I fully understand what is going on. After the war, they do not want to be left alone again by their southern Borthers. That is why they (Massob) are letting the OPC and MEND do the fight. It does not make Igbo cowards. Its just morons on the internet that do not understand.

There are also foreign powers that corrupt the people. If you look at Mauritius, foreign powers aren't there as much because htey have no resources. Since Nigeria has oil and America imports a lot of their oil from Nigeria, it is very important to have those resources. The Congo is CURSED with resources. America kills all their good leadrers like Lumumba in the 1961 and Kabila in 2001. imperialism plays a big role too.
