Drabeey:
so you think i'm pained because of the money, im just unhappy because of the injustice....

If i am to pay, i wish this case can just be investigated thoroughly, nd perpetrators brought to justice.
bro I really feel your pain. Pls ignore all these children of hate and raboraozers on this forum, majority of them are babies offline. Now back to the matter, I'm afraid to say this bro that for now there is nothing you can do but to pay that demonic fine for now. I really understand your pain and taken aback that nobody has sympathize with you. This same issue is what frustrated me completely out of transportation business. these people are wicked, callous, selfish, hateful. unreasonable, unsympathetic.evil, devilish and demonic. My story is similar to yours and have not recovered from that shock going to two months now, I'm still contemplating whether to create a thread about my harrowing experience in the hands of LASTMA officials.

On this fateful day on lekki ajah axis my bus suddenly went off and I and my conductor pushed it to the designated bus stop setback fixing my bus jejely when this toutish, hungry lastma guy on tow vehicle patrol came to beg for money from me without even pitying me trying to sort my engine out. I don't even know the bastard from Adam, okay I told my boy to give him 500naira he said no, 1000 naira nko he said no. Okay wetin u want he said he wants 6000 naira. I was wtf is this slowpoke talking about naso I start to dey Para as a graduate concern nah, lo and behold those bastard towed my vehicle without doing anything to their office at olowu in obalende. The name of that lastma guy is Basit Shinaba. He is very notorious on that route. They ticketed me all in all plus fine, demurrage, three days training 47000 naira all because I'm nobody without committing any offence.

My whole world came crashing I have to source for loan in 5days to pay for it. I was emotionally weak, life became unfavourable to me people were even scolding me for not giving him the bribe as he requested. I was mocked and feel dejected. For 2weeks i couldn't drive so i told my conductor to work for some days before i will be emotionally strong to work again, lo and behold again the dreaded Lagos state taskforce caught my boy again the first day of him working saying it is illegal to discharge passenger in a filling station.

The reason why he did that was because he wanted to buy fuel. All his pleas fell on deaf ears naso they towed my bus again all the way from Obalende to Alausa. Those toutish hungry mopols rough handled my bus and destroyed the gear. I was mad, i nearly fainted when i was phoned. Again i payed another 22,000 naira free money collected by one man called Opa on behalf on the government.

So have decided I'm selling the bus. The moral of my epistle is Nigeria is now a jungle, no more love and compassion, it is survival of the fittest. People don't care of fellow citizens feelings. Such a wicked country. Finally i don't advice anybody to do transport business in Lagos again. The state law is generally hostile to SME's. Pls if you must do business do the ones that doesn't involve Lastma, Vio, Kai, Police and FRSC unless they will frustrate your life to corruptly enrich themselves.

My brother try and source for that money and pay before demurrage will accrue on that bus. This country is messed up!!!

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pls I Need An Advice Concerning My Career by jasper83: 6:22pm On Aug 05, 2016
Gydion:
I hold a B.Sc and M.Sc in economics, I worked with a bank for two years as a sales man but don't like the career path because it was very hard working on the street looking for those who are qualified and interested in taking loan.

Thanks to God that I presently work in an insurance company as a finance transaction officer which I must confess I like the career path. I'm not good in accounting as I usually ran away from the course which was an elective in the university in my 200l, but I had no option in 100l than to take it and I still remember I had E in financial accounting and B4 in Cost accounting but I ran away from it in 200l going for business administration elective courses in 200l.

My question is I'll like to build on this finance career path, pls how and what do u think I can use to build on my self to excel.

Suggest what I can do, programmes I can go for, or how I can improve on my self

Thanks
you may at least go for ICAN, that's a journey to the finance world.

Just like Femi Kuti African shrine, so tell me which responsible organization will locate their office in a street filled with face me I slap you house adorned with Baba ijebu kiosks up and down. If you have excess naira in your wallet u can attend to verify for yourself which I know you won't forgive yourself for not listening to my advice. Shalom

I just installed an ordinary local antenna just to be able to receive local channels but when i did my scan i was shocked with the results that i got.
I was receiving all the channels on StarTimes. I wonder if it was just luck or with the new move to digital TV they are now free. So please is anyone in the house experiencing same?
I think its simple science of electromagnetic waves of signal interference. There is somebody in your neighborhood not necessarily your compound ooo, who uses startimes decoder which was detected by your strong LG LED inbuilt technology.

You can google self fulfilling prophecy. I was once a victim before i broke loose from this vicious circle. Its a form of omen or self inflicting belief reinforced by the mind, that something, usually negative will always happen at a particular time, place or during certain circumstances.

This ominous belief is usually sustained by some form of delusion, an inherent prophet of doom in the mind. This pattern of occurrence keeps happening if not broken making it a self-fulfilling prophecy .
Thanks

Christianity EtcRe: Do You Believe In Superstitions? Like These Ones... by jasper83: 5:10pm On Jul 23, 2016
Fit2Rule:
There is a power controlling the universe. You call it god. Others call it whatever they like. The truth is simple... There are certain laws you need to master and apply appropriately before you can access this power (god). We live only in our material world and often neglect the astral and mental worlds which are our real existence. There's no need to be confused. Just believe in your god but you need to go beyond the mere heaven/hell god/devil fantasy and focus on understanding the higher realms of existence. That is.. . You need to look beyond religion and dig into your spirituality. It's the plane where you can take charge of your existence, command angels, commune with the etheric element(god), see into the future, and every other thing which we consider miracles.
pls teach us how to get deep spiritually to break from this African mentality once and for all. Thanks

There's a God. The universe is not an accident. But religions don't know this God. They are interested in manipulating the forces of the universe to satisfy their whims. Then they create a god of their choice and write a book to justify their atrocities.

In my opinion, the power behind the universe is so powerful and verse that earth man can never know what it is; not even in the next million years. And that power never interferes with what happens to any part of the universe since they are already laws governing it; the laws of nature, a.k.a, laws of physics.
The only hope for mankind is understanding that nature didn't create us equal. Religion teaches otherwise.
pls can you also explain this, when I was into commercial driving, I mean driving danfo bus. Whenever your bus has an issue in Monday morning and you take the bus to a mechanic workshop, believe you me throughout that week you visit the mechanic workshop for one thing or the other infact that week job iis dead. You may ask drivers on this... It has happened to me one than once which made me shift abit that something's happened to us we may not explain. Pls reply

davide470 Are you sure this is not a scam? This is a scam. Please verify this is because FrieslandCampina is not having a good time and from a reliable source (MD) we are thinking of converting some departments to be managed by agencies I can't give give you all other details just know that even some juicy stuffs in frieslandCampina have been revamped although experts have been trying to turn things around so incurring more cost will not go well at this point. Although last month there was a major restructuring that led to the promotion of more than a 100 people (converting some to contract to full staff)...but there was no discussion about recruitment. That site doesn't really look like FrieslandCampina site. The Recruitment going on in FrieslandCampina lately is outsourced by other agencies and you register on the agency's portal...

I am not a staff of FrieslandCampina but I will really love you to check the site....it is substandard and that is not how FrieslandCampina advertise on their site. FrieslandCampina uses real staff of the company to advertise on their site not what I saw up there..
Sir can you please give details of WAMCO outsourcing agencies website, so i can register on their portal. Thanks

Hello nairalanders, am in need of a vanagon bus diesel engine. I want to know the cost and where i can get it. Thanks.
If you stay in Lagos, you may visit Daleko market at mushin known for rice business. The other part of the market is used for selling volkwagen product. In fact its the best place you can buy good tokunbo vanagon because they use those buses to cargo their volkwagen tokunbo part. My friend bought a petrol vanagon injector engine in February for 1.250million.

The diesel engine as at then goes for 800k, but my only reservation is that diesel mechanic are limited. So the engine does not last more than 6-7 months. Majority of our technician are most comfortable with petrol thus the skyrocket price of petrol vanagon and lower price of diesel vanagon.
Gracias...

CrimeRe: Cybercrime: Policeman, Three Others Killed (photo) by jasper83: 11:58am On Jan 11, 2016
My people on nairaland, pls whatever position we are occupying ,let us do our best not to abuse it. This story I am about to share is a true life story concerning that officer that was shot.

As a marketer I usually drive down to the okrika market in Abule egba area of Lagos called Katanguwa market. For people who know the back road to that market from Ekoro road will know that on market days the traffic snarl on that road is something else because of the road size coupled with impatient motorists especially the bike riders.

This fateful friday last December I parked my bus on the side and there was traffic as usual, then came this late police officer and two other guys all dressed in mufti. They fitted a siren inside and unmarked 2006 big daddy Toyota Camry. They started pushing all the bike men sideways disrespectfully while brandishing an AK-47 an shooting in the air discriminately.

As i was busy with customers, these guys acted with impunity by deflating vehicles tires that earlier parked by the road side. Everybody was murmuring but couldn't do a thing. Because my vehicle was affected i and some motorists had to plea with them so that our tires VALVES can be returned.

Shockingly to me this guys came to smoke Indian hemp within that notorious neighborhood. I was shocked when i came close to them. This particular officer that die was the one that attended to me, he was drunk, has a ear rings on ,bleaching infact i was disappointed. They all look razed, and i asked someone that how could police officers dress like this infact u can mistake them for armed robbers, or how can you explain a shabbily dressed young men with mufti clothes, with sandals, with tattoos and dreadlocks brandishing ammunitions in broad daylight. I knew those guys ain't pure, i knew it. I guess those killed with him are those guys that terrorized us that day.

I knew they will be working for scammers, drug barons and kidnappers if you read crime reports very well and understand how syndicates work.

Finally the IG of police should set up a monitoring team to arrest policemen who loves to wear mufti during work, majority of such officers are saboteurs. Rip to the dead.

Good afternoon.

I am looking to change my Toyota Corolla 2000 model for an SUV. I am lost in between the Hyundai Tucson and the Toyota Highlander. I would like good reviews about both cars and if you use any of them, Kindly give the Pros and cons. The Hyundai Santa Fe comes to mind too.

Enjoying the corolla, but I want to change it because I have a bigger family and the interior is bland.
bro I may be wrong oooo, but I drive almost 3 brand new Hyundai buses called H1. Those buses are whack, can u imagine the air conditioner is not working properly after 2years the buses the coy bought in 2014 @ 3.67million. Toyota all the way, even the sonata my MD drives naa poo. I prefer KIA to those wash-wash product that is if you can't afford a Toyota.
