coolhamid:bro how far with this school welfare package? Do they pay well and what's there workload like. |
Dipo2020:location and pay please? I have a responsible family member looking for such an opportunity. |
Drabeey:bro I really feel your pain. Pls ignore all these children of hate and raboraozers on this forum, majority of them are babies offline. Now back to the matter, I'm afraid to say this bro that for now there is nothing you can do but to pay that demonic fine for now. I really understand your pain and taken aback that nobody has sympathize with you. This same issue is what frustrated me completely out of transportation business. these people are wicked, callous, selfish, hateful. unreasonable, unsympathetic.evil, devilish and demonic. My story is similar to yours and have not recovered from that shock going to two months now, I'm still contemplating whether to create a thread about my harrowing experience in the hands of LASTMA officials. On this fateful day on lekki ajah axis my bus suddenly went off and I and my conductor pushed it to the designated bus stop setback fixing my bus jejely when this toutish, hungry lastma guy on tow vehicle patrol came to beg for money from me without even pitying me trying to sort my engine out. I don't even know the bastard from Adam, okay I told my boy to give him 500naira he said no, 1000 naira nko he said no. Okay wetin u want he said he wants 6000 naira. I was wtf is this slowpoke talking about naso I start to dey Para as a graduate concern nah, lo and behold those bastard towed my vehicle without doing anything to their office at olowu in obalende. The name of that lastma guy is Basit Shinaba. He is very notorious on that route. They ticketed me all in all plus fine, demurrage, three days training 47000 naira all because I'm nobody without committing any offence. My whole world came crashing I have to source for loan in 5days to pay for it. I was emotionally weak, life became unfavourable to me people were even scolding me for not giving him the bribe as he requested. I was mocked and feel dejected. For 2weeks i couldn't drive so i told my conductor to work for some days before i will be emotionally strong to work again, lo and behold again the dreaded Lagos state taskforce caught my boy again the first day of him working saying it is illegal to discharge passenger in a filling station. The reason why he did that was because he wanted to buy fuel. All his pleas fell on deaf ears naso they towed my bus again all the way from Obalende to Alausa. Those toutish hungry mopols rough handled my bus and destroyed the gear. I was mad, i nearly fainted when i was phoned. Again i payed another 22,000 naira free money collected by one man called Opa on behalf on the government. So have decided I'm selling the bus. The moral of my epistle is Nigeria is now a jungle, no more love and compassion, it is survival of the fittest. People don't care of fellow citizens feelings. Such a wicked country. Finally i don't advice anybody to do transport business in Lagos again. The state law is generally hostile to SME's. Pls if you must do business do the ones that doesn't involve Lastma, Vio, Kai, Police and FRSC unless they will frustrate your life to corruptly enrich themselves. My brother try and source for that money and pay before demurrage will accrue on that bus. This country is messed up!!! |

onyeoriri:If you stay in Lagos, you may visit Daleko market at mushin known for rice business. The other part of the market is used for selling volkwagen product. In fact its the best place you can buy good tokunbo vanagon because they use those buses to cargo their volkwagen tokunbo part. My friend bought a petrol vanagon injector engine in February for 1.250million. The diesel engine as at then goes for 800k, but my only reservation is that diesel mechanic are limited. So the engine does not last more than 6-7 months. Majority of our technician are most comfortable with petrol thus the skyrocket price of petrol vanagon and lower price of diesel vanagon. Gracias... |

My people on nairaland, pls whatever position we are occupying ,let us do our best not to abuse it. This story I am about to share is a true life story concerning that officer that was shot. As a marketer I usually drive down to the okrika market in Abule egba area of Lagos called Katanguwa market. For people who know the back road to that market from Ekoro road will know that on market days the traffic snarl on that road is something else because of the road size coupled with impatient motorists especially the bike riders. This fateful friday last December I parked my bus on the side and there was traffic as usual, then came this late police officer and two other guys all dressed in mufti. They fitted a siren inside and unmarked 2006 big daddy Toyota Camry. They started pushing all the bike men sideways disrespectfully while brandishing an AK-47 an shooting in the air discriminately. As i was busy with customers, these guys acted with impunity by deflating vehicles tires that earlier parked by the road side. Everybody was murmuring but couldn't do a thing. Because my vehicle was affected i and some motorists had to plea with them so that our tires VALVES can be returned. Shockingly to me this guys came to smoke Indian hemp within that notorious neighborhood. I was shocked when i came close to them. This particular officer that die was the one that attended to me, he was drunk, has a ear rings on ,bleaching infact i was disappointed. They all look razed, and i asked someone that how could police officers dress like this infact u can mistake them for armed robbers, or how can you explain a shabbily dressed young men with mufti clothes, with sandals, with tattoos and dreadlocks brandishing ammunitions in broad daylight. I knew those guys ain't pure, i knew it. I guess those killed with him are those guys that terrorized us that day. I knew they will be working for scammers, drug barons and kidnappers if you read crime reports very well and understand how syndicates work. Finally the IG of police should set up a monitoring team to arrest policemen who loves to wear mufti during work, majority of such officers are saboteurs. Rip to the dead. |
Mueeze:bro I may be wrong oooo, but I drive almost 3 brand new Hyundai buses called H1. Those buses are whack, can u imagine the air conditioner is not working properly after 2years the buses the coy bought in 2014 @ 3.67million. Toyota all the way, even the sonata my MD drives naa poo. I prefer KIA to those wash-wash product that is if you can't afford a Toyota. |
