RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Of 5 Years Broke Up With Me Because Of What Her Pastor Said. Help! by jasper83: 11:20pm On Feb 02, 2018
bignigerian:
Hi guys I have to open an account to let out this story.

My girlfriend of 5 years, she was 18 and I was 23 both students when we met. We have shared everything together, I mean everything u can possibly think of. She told me she can't continue the relationship. That we can't marry each other.

Her reasons
She met 2 pastors who told her we are not compatible with each other. One told her in 2014 and the other in 2016 of which she told me about both of them. But last 3 weeks she broke the ice on the grounds that
1. she needs to choose her husband with all diligence. That her grandmother has 2 husbands, her mum has 2 husbands and she can't thread that path because those pastors told her we shall split if she marries me.
2. She doesn't want me to hear that she got married to someone else.

Her mum doesn't like me and doesn't want me to marry her and recently she is pestering her to marry another man, her Pastor. This man talks with her every time, calls her, gives her and her mother gifts. Well I give them gifts to my capacity too. But pastor is playing son-in-law game well because he (pastor) said God told him that she is his wife. The pastor anyway happened to be a real pastor, I can attest to that, but I can't vouch if his vision is from God or self induced.

But babe told me she has not made up her mind yet and that she didn't break up with me to marry that man. That she will take her time to decide what she will do and maintaining a single status.

We all stay in the same neighborhood, bae is a nairalander too. She will see this and get angry but...
I need matured views on this issue...
Life is just too funny. In fact it's truly a series of unlimited schools we all go through but at different stages of our lives as humans but mysterious taught with almost if not the same syllabus with little or no editing but with different teachers.

What happened to you bros happened to my elder bro almost a decade ago, in fact if he is privy to read this thread na laugh he go dey laugh. Now quick one, do you want an honest advice devoid of emotions? please drop that lady asap. God has just saved you from a future marital crisis, as a man you must have a discerning spirit and try to be less emotional. I know it's not easy but that the only way to life a long and fulfilled life and it's an hard way. I have learnt in a very hard way to adopt it and it's working for me.

Your girlfriend mum not liking you is a huge red flag for me, secondly concerning that pastor lover boy na dia way be that always intimidating people with God say this and that, let him have her by taking undue advantages like closeness to her mum, the spiritual inclination to the story blah blah. Na dia wahala be that, I know it's painful when you think of the great times you have shared together, maybe the smoochings, hugs, great sex etc, you are now imagining her doing it with the pastor, no think am, na dia wahala let him have her.

Bros fear anybody that over analyses issues, what does she mean by my grandmother married twice, my mum same thing, you see na dia way be that always trying to spiritualise and rhyming stuffs together.
God forgive me ooo, something tells me it's that pastor during the wooing that deposited that consciousness in my heart coupled with her mum unlikeness for you. But they have forgotten that marital bliss comes from God only, marrying a pastor doesn't guarantee that evident by what we read daily. She saying that she hasn't choosen a bae is a lie, from abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh, she just doesn't want to hurt you so she wants to gradually withdraw. Just watch and observe her tactically withdrawing, she is gone, please forget her and move on. If you forcely marry her any time the union has any minor issues she will always refer to this time that she doesn't want to do but you coerced her into the union and nothing makes a man go mad like that ugly statement which will surely leads to domestic violence and the end of the union. Hasn't she said it? that your union with her will be unblissful abinitio? Bros abeg think without emotions...

This is the best time of your life to run your race without distraction and shine like a star, when the time is ripe you will surely get yours. Set the record straight at the start, do genotype test, medical compatibility, spiritual blah blah no time for story. Be strong we have passed through that route before, welcome to the CLUB of strong men!

Latest update- she just called and started Trying to explain her way out of her rash behavior, which she is habitual of doing for the past 6yrs.she would want to rationalize a mistake claiming the Bible said women are the weaker vessel. Men have really been undermined ,well new year new system. Dem go hear am.I rest my case.God bless all the people in the house. Shalom
.

Bros I salute your courage and victory, may God bless your new job, happiness and whatever makes you happy. Don't allow any rubbish person make you unhappy or angry about your decision, you have taken the best decision of your life because anybody that life gives a second chance like you 98% of the time excel exceedingly.

When the time is right I have a story to share too, majority of females are opportunist and self centered, I have learned in hard way that love is not everything but mere feelings that can grow well if nurtured with right person. Guys beware " EMOTION IS NOTHING BUT A KILLER". Lets see marriage as a contract to be given to best qualified individuals, no sentiment attached.

Congrats bro, u have escaped may God delivered the rest of us from the hands of evil, destiny delaying demons. Peace out!!!

sacluxisback:
There is this babe i have been dating on/ off for close to 3 years now.

We have had countless arguments but we always settle.

I find it hard to break up with her, because her pussy is so sweet!!

Not all vaginas are the same to be honest. Her own is like cocaine.

Very fresh and clean. I dont know if it is lust or love but nowadays nothing she does is wrong in my eyes.

I have made attempts to take it to the next level with her but she said her people dont accept mbaise men.(She is from agulu, anambra)

The only problem i have with her is that she bugs me for money all the time but i have been able to handle it.

She prefers friends with benefits arrangements, of which i pay her a token.

I am considering getting her pregnant to tie her down regardless of consequences.

Please i need mature advice on how to move on from her because even if i marry someone else. I will still be banging her which i don't want to do.
Chaiii Toto-Lin don finish this one destiny, better go for deliverance asap

Cc @Crazyman
I am really impressed when young lads are career focused, It means all hope isn't lost on the nation. But first thing first, concentrate on your studies and make a very good grade. Then humble yourself to start small because that's the way to start winning in life, when you start small it also help you manage your expectations at every particular stage of your life even when disappointments comes knocking you won't be thrown off balance.

Now to the crux of the matter, I personally don't believe in the dogma people carry about concerning unemployment which has become a daily song in the country. In as much as it looked so and competition is fierce there is still that chance for that special someone if you are deligent, hardworking, resilient ,dogged and prayerful. Your time will surely come and when the opportunity arises and you latch on it. I'm a living testimony of this, after my NYSC, I sought the permission of my parents to go stay with a friend who already has an apartment so I can untie myself from the apron strings of my parents and focus on my life and survival.

Luckily they obliged me, lest I forget I'm a Muslim and that my childhood friend is real born again christian, a month after NYSC POP, he recommended me for a sales project with his pastor which lasted for just 3 months, for my dedication and humility the pastor was so proud of me and anytime a client comes around he introduced me as one of his best hands because that job was meant for let say SSCE/OND holders but I gladly took like the bible says never despise thy days of little beginning, so he made me the team leader. After the 3 months project ended he recommended me to a couple who owns a very big distribution/marketing company and that was how my career in sales started. Mind you I studied a physical science course just like you in one of the top three ivory tower in the country but I have always dreamt of management which made me humble myself for any opportunity that will link me up, after all I'm a son of nobody.

From that my second job, I got married and was averagely living well, sometimes last year I saw a widely publicised vacancy for a higher sales role in one of the top 3 manufacturing companies in Nigeria, a multinational with headquarters in Europe. I believe in myself and always tell myself that if hardwork pays my time will surely come, the recruitment process took 8 months and lol and behold I was among the 3 choosen and my life hasn't remain the same as in never remained the same, hope you known what I mean. I'm just a son of nobody dinning with son's and daughters of Mr somebody lol. My advise, don't be too fixated about oil and gas or nothing else, what should be paramount to you is how to gain that experience and exposure and I bet you will be surprised how far you have gone career wise and the oil and gas industry will be at your beck and call. It's just a matter of time for me before I will start switching industry, just be very patient, humble, focus and prayerful and it will be well with you.

My two cents

On the high end, such as in cases where you'll be pairing your CPU with a powerful AMD or Nvidia GPU, an Intel processor is the better option. In this case, using an Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU rather than an AMD equivalent can make the difference between 15 and 30 frames per second. source:- http://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/processors/intel-vs-amd-which-processor-is-best-936589

AMD processor are not bad but desist from old old laptop that are running AMD processor they are super hot which is not good. Whatever you opt for be it Intel or AMD both CPU will work fine depending on what you want to run on it.

Intel celeron is the lowest of modern Intel processors followed by Intel pentium which have different generations. So pentium is very much better. You can get them between 100-140k for new ones but that amount will get you a far more better deal if you buy a used laptop
thanks bro, so what about AMD processors, are they good too? Pls let me have ur contact, want to reach you.

FamilyRe: Not In Love With My Wife Anymore! by jasper83: 6:04pm On May 17, 2017
VicMadich88:
I met my wife (very beautiful, humble Igbo gal) in 2012, and we've been datin since then. We both from Imo State...

On tht same year we met, I moved to south Africa to study an still residing in SA. I see her twice a year, and she visits SA as well. We got married ths past February, and few days after our wedding, I had to return.

But now I feel I made a very big mistake by marrying her, not because she's bad for me bt because I've realized I'm not in love with her anymore. I don't know wat to do, she's such a wonderful lady. God fearing, sings in the church choir, young and beautiful.

How should I let her know that i'm not in love with her anymore? I'm scared of the embarrassment my parents will bare with all of this? Our pastor at church? Her family? I don't believe in divorce, so are my parents...but what do I do in this situation?. undecided
Op I think you have brought this topic to nairaland before of you dating your God fearing fiancee then but you are no more in love with her but you are shy to break up the courtship. I just pity we guys when we are not man enough to face the world because of what people will say. But then a broken courtship is way better than a broken marriage. We told you then to damn the consequences but you still went ahead.

Well my advice for you is to use mind control, it means you will just find any reason to start loving your wife though it is gradual but it will work eventually. Don't break that lady's heart, she doesn't deserve it and you don't deserve her, you are just an asshole and a weakling. Do you fornicate? Be truthful to yourself, because if you do it gives too much room for comparison in terms of physical attributes facial vs facial, figure 8 vs skinny, big boobs vs small boobs. If you don't indulged in all I mention then seek a professional counselor ASAP to help you clear your head of some illusions and fantasies.

Trust me they are helping a lot of people like fix their marriages. Finally seek the face of God,I know what you are passing through is a phase and Insha Allah you will come out victorious and happy plus being a caring and loving husband. Amin

But why, why and why. @Op I think what you just posted here is very very wrong. Lets show some respect for the dead because sooner or later we will be like them. I may be wrong o, but something tells me you are the one who snapped this corpse at the morgue or close to someone who snapped it.

I just checked your profile now and you reside at Sagamu which may be where the late veteran resides because he speaks Ijebu dialect fluently during his lifetime. Please for the sake of humanity i imploy the mods to take down this dehumanizing thread. I can't just imagine the face of my loved one who just submitted to the cold hands of death go viral in the cyber space because some journalism wannabe wants to prove a point or be the first breaker of a bad news.

Finally i wish the Op that when his own time comes in which ever way either horrific or otherwise his body will be shown like this. # senselessjournalistwithoutborders
RomanceRe: I Pity Ladies Engaging In Anal Sex by jasper83: 8:09pm On Apr 18, 2017
Safiaa:
Its something i may try with my husband.
It doesn't worth it my dear. Pussies are meant to be drilled and not the anus. The vagina secretes fluids that aids sexual thrusting. There is nothing to fantasize about anal sex because it will be very uncomfortable.

Try and watch gay porns and you will see those guys are actually forcing nature to do their sexual biddings. The way the moan in pains is disgusting. With the whole lubricant they use the penis in my own opinion doesn't still jell well in the anus.

Lastly think of the perception your husband will have about you as someone being unnecessarily too wild. Marriage doesn't necessarily gives you the liberty to do anyhow all in the name of satisfying ones partner, to every rule there are exceptions.
What about the health angle, your anus will be unnecessarily too wide to hold the tiniest of faeces, and over time your anus may start leaking faeces when you intentionally wants to fart. So what's the gain after all.

Lets learn to tame our bodies and fantasies to avoid stories that touch. Pardon me for my epistle
FamilyRe: The Dilemma Of Inter-tribal Marriage by jasper83: 8:53am On Apr 18, 2017
[quote author=kolaish post=55667007]My candid advice to the men/women that cares: do not let this so-called 'love sentiments' blindfold you into marriage. You are going into a relationship that will last for more than 40 years, so why choosing to spend that long years of marriage struggling to hold it together. There are so many more beautiful and good ladies from your tribe, so, why not choose from them and enjoy a fruitful marriage with peace.

See the following:

1. if you are a yoruba man and your wife is igbo, what language did you think your child will adopt and speak fluently; certainly igbo and not yoruba. That means your child will not be able to speak your own language.

2. Your family will not have an official local dialect, except english.

3. You stand the chance of always going very far (more than 7 hours journey) whenever your partner is having a social function. Think of the transportation costs and its stress.

4. Anytime your in-laws are around, you will look like a stranger because you cannot hear them when they are discussing in their dialect.

Please permit me to say this without thinking i am an ethnic or religious bigot. I have always keenly observed that most northern elites are very civilized and not too religious and narrow minded like their followers.

You can all observed that none of his grandchildren is putting on an hijab or wearing a jalabia but all looking western. Sometimes i have to succumb to the reasoning of some conspiracy theorists that the elites deliberately caged the minds of their people so that they can sheepishly follow them. Imagine the level of exposure of those kids since the 80's. What baffles me is that the same followers will see all this disparity and continue to do " ranka dede alhaji". Education is truly the only light that can emancipate a caged mind from brainwash and slavery.

CareerRe: Can HND Graduate With Masters Enroll For Phd by jasper83: 5:00pm On Feb 27, 2017
Well to the best of my knowledge having a Phd or going for a doctorate has nothing to do with HND. The main prerequisite is a masters with a particular "grade". Emphasis on a particular masters grade because not all masters grade can do a Phd.

I have seen many take that route especially in FUTA, and one in particular was an associate professor around 2005/2006 before i left that area. So the sky is your starting point.

Nawa ooo, so its true that nobody is truly an island of knowledge. So my almighty lala too haven't heard of this program before. Well to allay your fears the program is damn real and comes out every two years.

I used to work for a nestle contractor at their Agbara factory before and i often see them at their factory training center close to the malt plant. Their uniform is usually light sky blue on light sky blue. I was discussing with one of them early last year in the factory canteen about the program and he told me every thing involved.

I wanted to recommend the program to my siblings but the requirement of only OND and results not more than a year discouraged me. So guys do your findings and you will see is real. Nestle is a very good place to work, their work environment and staff welfare is cool.

And who says those with multiple wives dont have concubineshuh Shior, you ppl should stop this demeaning act against your women, no man can try that nonsense with me
You will just die of hypertension and hyperclux. Forget registry all Na wash for Africa. The worst you will do is to kill your husband like that mad lawyer in Ibadan last year because her husband married a second wife. After all the said couple are Christians, so polygamy in Africa is not persee a muslim thingy.

Women should pipe down on this issue, your husband was a stranger before he met you so why kill yourself on somebody who is not your blood but related to by marriage. Don't be over reactive unless you will loose big time.

Divorce him you will still loose because nature will haunt you sooner or later and you may fornicate in the future with someone husband or somebody so low to you. Think and think, why not remain number one where you are than being a side chic in nearest future and regret later, I have seen and heard it. Goodluck
