Sentences for fraud cases are usually less than 10 yrs whereas drug (especially when they can establish the person is a major player) sentences can go up to 30 yrs.

These guys are being let off too easy - why should they get such small sentences? The UK criminal system is too lenient on fraudsters.

Personally, it's not really necessary and shouldn't be discouraged either. If the other half is one that appreciates gifts then please go ahead and shower her/him with all the good things money can buy.
