sukkot: and how many people in england have 20,000 pounds as deposit down payment ? the average briton has less than 2000 pounds in their bank account ( in fact banks have said the average briton is living from paycheck to paycheck and have less than 1000 savings ) . so what exactly are we saying here ? case closed Seems you like arguing about things you have absolutely no idea about...Geez You don't haggle prices in UK high end stores You don't have to earn 50K per annum to qualify for finance deals to own a range High end range rovers cost considerably more than the basic ones A brave linda would have simply posted the serial number for verification. All luxury goods sold at high end stores in the UK usually have their serial numbers recorded by the store |

Bevista: --- For the records, I still believe that the appropriate course of action for the CBN is to devalue, but it is not silver bullet and I am fully aware that it's a catch-22 situation. There will be a myriad of unintended consequences like organized labour embarking on industrial action and calling for wage review due to the impact of devaluation on REAL wage. --- The most effective course of action for the country is massive import Substitution programmes. There should be massive reorientation to encourage corporates and individuals to source alternative items locally. When next you are buying a car or laptop, maybe you should consider Innoson and Zinox. In the meantime, we can pray for temporary respite in oil prices to increase supply of dollars. That's the massive conundrum with no clear cut short/medium term solution to negate the projected effect of devaluation. The government cannot afford to embark on quantitative easing without any clear plan to increase her outputs They can't go on a borrowing frenzy to match the projected demand for rising wages to match the expected headline inflationary pressures as a direct result of devaluation without diversifying the economy Like you said, the only way out appears to be reducing the appetite for foreign goods which frankly isn't quick win as it's more of a longer term solution Nigeria is financially fvcked hence why all treasury looters and ineffective buffoons should be tied and shot at point blank range |
Business › Re: When Crude Oil Has Gone Up 4%.. Why Is Naira Still Going Down? by jaybee3(m): 10:11am On Feb 16, 2016 |
Oil price is still on a downward trend when viewed as period snapshot or quarterly comparable.
It's beyond stoopid to view an outlier as a true direction of events.
The key reasons for the downward pressures still persist and ain't going away anytime soon so dust your textbook and educate yourself more before making unguarded and retarded comparative analysis |

It will be stooopid not to test waters first before taking the big/bold step.
Almost everyone you meet in Nigeria is out there to milk you so adjusting to their way of things will require some getting used to hence the reason why it's ever so important to accustom yourself to the lifestyle before uprooting your family from their comfortable abode |
Family › Re: Advice For Relocating To Nigeria by jaybee3(m): 9:47am On Feb 16, 2016 |
tearoses: To the topic, It depends on what you want out of life Yes you can make shedloads of money in Nigeria but it depends on if you want to exchange that for high stress levels and lack of services. Its up to the individual to make that choice.
Personally I prefer to make less money and live a calm and organised life for me and my children, but that is just me. I don't need a 7 bedroom mansion in Lekki that I cant enjoy and close my eyes at night.
I also ask for things to be done properly and justice and fairness means a lot to me so personally I find it hard to deal with some of the things I see out there.
I know many people running over here to give up their stressful life.
We take the kids to Nigeria a year so they know their roots and my pikin can floor ifyalways in amala buka eating anyday I just had to quote you to say " Okay" |

tearoses: This is very interesting Recruitment surely has a long way to go in some sectors First you kept applicants waiting for a minimum of 1,5 hours then you asked them questions they were not prepared for. Can you imagine the amount of stress they were under during the wait? In some places, you will be looking at a lawsuit.
Your company also seems very disorganised. I wouldn't want to work for such a company & I certainly wouldn't want to work for you. Also as a team leader you should by now be attending/attended management/leadership courses. Today you failed as badly as these applicants.
Thirdly, the method you chose, due to your own personal inadequacies and lack of training wasn't the best way to make a decision You should have engaged them and worked out how best they fit your team bearing in mind they will be working for you & they have already been through a rigorous recruitment exercise. One single person can tip the balance of a team and the most knowledgable person may not be the best person for the team/job
Hopefully that girl with a first from Reading will not let the side down and she will give you a run for your money and show you how its done..... He should have assessed them using competency based questions but then again he explained he wasn't prepared for the task hence the questionable decision making process he deployed to select the successful candidate Besides, he should have tested their numerical reasoning skills with something financial trainees are expected to be familiar with e.g cross currency conversion mental maths I interview programmers from time to time and those that usually get the job aren't necessarily the best technically gifted but those with the right blend of technical ability and demonstrable people skills |

6E-E/6E=E/12
Cross-multiply 6E * E =12(6E-E) 6E^2 =72E-12E 6E^2 =60E Divide both sides by E 6E = 60 Divide both sides by 6 E = 10
