SmartMugu:
Whats the point in putting him in handcuffs? This man is a known public figure, are there beliefs he will try to run away?
I guess the intention is to publicly embarrass him.
Lol at your lame attempt to qualify your muguness tongue tongue tongue tongue
A mugu is nothing but a mugu no matter how smart you may think you are

Now back to the topic, handcuffs are used for restraining suspects meaning he must have displayed some sort of thuggish behavior hence the treatment

Besides, he is an alleged criminal so what's with the "big man" expectation?

Nice one op, but all the afforementioned only apply to non-immigrant visa holders.
See how you just made yourself look very stoooopid

The OP clearly mentioned "Turned back" and "refused" entry which can only happen to those requiring Temporary entry clearance (Visa)

N820 billion naira out of a budget of 6 trillion.
Almost insignificant.
I think time is nigh to deal with this criminal militants problem once and for all.
A shutdown of oil facilities will affect productivity which in turn will slowly but surely add to the 14% income oil was supposed to add to the overall budget.

I'd love to see him smoked though tongue tongue tongue tongue

The breaches identified by the Audit Committee include
non-specification of procurement costs, /* So they can fill in the gaps afterwards. Not so smart now tongue tongue*/

absence of contract agreements, /* I guess they mysteriously disappeared just like bubu's certificate shocked shocked*/

award of contracts beyond authorised thresholds, /* Surely someone must have slept on the job to allow this happen. GEJ forever sleeping tongue tongue*/

transfer of public funds for unidentified purposes and general non-adherence to provisions of the Public Procurement Act.

adioolayi:
“The present budget is more of the same to the previous ones. Mr.
Vice President [Prof. Yemi Osinbajo], If you scale your budget on the
scale of GDP, it is almost the same with the previous government.
“It has a historic 37% deficit as we never had it before. The truth is
that you are borrowing 37% with only 30 per cent on capital
project,” Prof. Soludo stressed.

Nairalanders sef, if you no read well..you will think PMB did copy and paste..or photocopy grin

Soludo did some technical comparisons here before making his assertions..... and basically, what is more important to us as a citizen is full implementation of the said budget..only then we will enjoy the present administration.

God bless Nigeria
Thank God there is still hope for our dear nation with this your post.

Thanks for proving not all nlers are dullards

Geez, the idiots on this thread went for the heading whilst conveniently forgetting the devil in the details.

The budget is simply comparable since the % of recurrent expenditure is roughly the same simples.

Recurrent expenditure is the same but surely capital expenditure can't be the same especially with the simple fact the headline figure is different

Psalm18:
He does not have a choice on the matter.
When you convicted of a crime in another country.
On completion of the sentence, YOU are DEPORTED back to your country, in this case. Ibori will be forcefully kept in a plane and flown back to Nigeria.

He cannot tell the British authorities, I want to go to Dubai or the Caribbean.

In addition, he can kiss ever visiting USA and other Western nations goodbye, till his death. He will not be issued Visa.
The truth is Ibori has been reduced despite all the noise his supporters will make here or offline.

A lesson to others. cool
Seun
Mynd44... Let Nigerians see how investigation and sentencing is carried out. The British police nabbed Ibori with forensic evidence and provided irrefutable case.
He can't be deported since he is also a British citizen

ok innovative by following the fayose footsteps?
by going to fry akara in the market as dividend of democracy? or roasting corn as dividend of democracy so that the people would praise him?
or eating bole?.... or commissioning worlds largest talking drum as aregbesola?
I don't like engaging people that deliberately refuse to engage their God given brain.
I've mentioned sustainable countless of times in our previous exchanges on this thread meaning i was expecting an innovative solution that's going to be sustainable going forward irrespective of our lackadaisical attitude to maintenance.

Fayose ain't anybody's reference point since majority of his praise worshippers are doing so to spite the centre.

Aregbeshola's gong oh attitude to development with reckless abandonment of financial astuteness should have rendered him to the chopping table but hey his people's standards are apparently low.

However, his giant drum might have been a good idea if the following were considered and subsequently factored into the project:
The drum being manufactured by local artisans

The drum was erected in and around a landmark zone which would have enabled it draw fee paying visitors from far and wide around the country

A percentage of the projected fee is channelled back to the constituency to support other noteworthy projects

and am asking u if the last honourable representing the oshodi isolo constituency had REHABILITATED or did what he's doing right now, would there be any need for him to be doing it?

PoliticsRe: Hon Tony Nwulu's Projects At Oshodi Isolo Federal Constituency 2 - Photos by jaybee3(m): 5:10pm On Jan 14, 2016
madenigga:
if his predecessors did well there wudnt be cases of abandoned projects, also if they did well by now he wudnt hv had d opportunity to be doing such project because it wudnt hv been available to him, he wud hv been engaging in something different entirely.
Its just like Nepa dat something Nigeria should not be putting much attention yet they are, but if the past administrations had done there job by now we wudnt be putting priority on Nepa issues.
Do you understand the meaning and implication of "rehabilitation" as stated by the honourable especially in the context of the topic?

It simply means, some of the projects already EXIST hence the need to revamp then.

Most infrastructures in Nigeria suffer immediate and prolong decay simply because we don't have a maintenance structure.
The likelihood that the trend will continue with his constituency is somewhat certain since it's a worrying generational attitude.

What i would have expected him to do considering the identified cultural problem is provide solutions to this reoccurring problem either via championing/sponsoring sustainable policies or providing sustainable technical solutions. (That's what thinking outside of the box is about)
