SmartMugu:Lol at your lame attempt to qualify your muguness ![]() A mugu is nothing but a mugu no matter how smart you may think you are Now back to the topic, handcuffs are used for restraining suspects meaning he must have displayed some sort of thuggish behavior hence the treatment Besides, he is an alleged criminal so what's with the "big man" expectation? |

oduastates:A shutdown of oil facilities will affect productivity which in turn will slowly but surely add to the 14% income oil was supposed to add to the overall budget. I'd love to see him smoked though ![]() |
I thought they said the big headed Akpabio with massive allocation was the best thing since slice bread This news/rumour had better not be true ![]() |
He should have bloody kept quiet What a doofus!!!!!! This is the single proof needed to substantiate the claim that Amaechi can't be trusted. I would worry if i was his boss ![]() |
mazzi:Shut your gob Have you thought for a second that recovery of looted funds might just be the way to largely fund this year's budget? Oil has now dipped below another technical/psychological support price ![]() |
The breaches identified by the Audit Committee include non-specification of procurement costs, /* So they can fill in the gaps afterwards. Not so smart now */absence of contract agreements, /* I guess they mysteriously disappeared just like bubu's certificate award of contracts beyond authorised thresholds, /* Surely someone must have slept on the job to allow this happen. GEJ forever sleeping */transfer of public funds for unidentified purposes and general non-adherence to provisions of the Public Procurement Act. /* They simply swallowed the funds evidenced by their big belly... ooohhhweeeeee */ |
adioolayi:Thank God there is still hope for our dear nation with this your post. Thanks for proving not all nlers are dullards Geez, the idiots on this thread went for the heading whilst conveniently forgetting the devil in the details. The budget is simply comparable since the % of recurrent expenditure is roughly the same simples. Recurrent expenditure is the same but surely capital expenditure can't be the same especially with the simple fact the headline figure is different |
bakynes:Yes it can be revoked but highly unlikely since he isn't a threat to the British people |

madenigga:I don't like engaging people that deliberately refuse to engage their God given brain. I've mentioned sustainable countless of times in our previous exchanges on this thread meaning i was expecting an innovative solution that's going to be sustainable going forward irrespective of our lackadaisical attitude to maintenance. Fayose ain't anybody's reference point since majority of his praise worshippers are doing so to spite the centre. Aregbeshola's gong oh attitude to development with reckless abandonment of financial astuteness should have rendered him to the chopping table but hey his people's standards are apparently low. However, his giant drum might have been a good idea if the following were considered and subsequently factored into the project: The drum being manufactured by local artisans The drum was erected in and around a landmark zone which would have enabled it draw fee paying visitors from far and wide around the country A percentage of the projected fee is channelled back to the constituency to support other noteworthy projects |
madenigga:He needs to be innovative to deserve commendation #deal with it!! |
madenigga:Do you understand the meaning and implication of "rehabilitation" as stated by the honourable especially in the context of the topic? It simply means, some of the projects already EXIST hence the need to revamp then. Most infrastructures in Nigeria suffer immediate and prolong decay simply because we don't have a maintenance structure. The likelihood that the trend will continue with his constituency is somewhat certain since it's a worrying generational attitude. What i would have expected him to do considering the identified cultural problem is provide solutions to this reoccurring problem either via championing/sponsoring sustainable policies or providing sustainable technical solutions. (That's what thinking outside of the box is about) |
