The Naira was first devalued during his reign We started struggling with our ability to defend the Naira during his reign Our economic outlook already pointed towards unstable during his reign So why would any sane human continue on the same path hoping/praying for a change in fortune Oya go get a cake or something and run along |

I know this lady personally and i know how nice, down to earth and bubbly she used to be For her to rant like this, believe me, she is pained.. Please, dont make fun of her..I beg of you.. Why would any sane person put her life on youtube just to get back at an EX? She obviously did that to attract sympathy whilst forgetting there is always 2 sides to a story If you know her as claimed then simply ask her to pull the video ASAP instead of crying on her behalf! |

Demdem: So in ur daft state the NASS when looking at the income profile of the FG pokes his nose also into the ECA (money meant for 3 tiers of government ) and makes appropriation based on the figure in there right? u are running mad no doubt. He obviously doesn't understand the true meaning of ECA E bloody stands for excess meaning any Jara we earn should be used saved Why then do NASS peg the budget at a certain benchmark.. Shouldn't the doofus have engaged his brain to know that the NASS budget relies entirely on the forecast income from crude sales at the bench-marked price in conjunction with the forecast from other revenue streams. He obviously failed to understand that they supplement the budget by borrowing hence the reason why we always run a deficit budget. I honestly don't know why these fools take him serious |

Makes sense.
I'm not so good at saying NO too. What I do is ignore. I hardly pick calls, don't reply facebook PM etc.
As a young man that justed started working in Lagos years back, my father xmas disposition landed me in serious financial crisis.
Now, other than my parents, a couple of siblings, family members once in a while, I no dey share money anyhow again o
I don't even pick calls, as I know 90% of calls from certain people are to ask for money which I find difficult to turn down. Alabajo Lool |

BabyDaddy20: $15 * 15 hour per day is how much ?? Multiply it by 5 days a week What's your answer ?? Then multiply your answer by 4 weeks a month. Do you know if i do other jobs ??
Do you also know the nature of the jobs i do ?? 15 hours a day * 22.5 working days a month * $15 per hr =$5.06k per month That's the gross pay and 75 hrs a week is not sustainable Stop telling porkies |

Deborahj: I am in the same shoe with you,I used to send slots of money to Nigeria before to friends and family, infact some of them will call you send me IPhone, Laptop etc, the Facebook am using before I have about 600 friends on it which is too much for me to manage, all I did was to shut down the account and open another one and I make sure I add only people I want like my old class mates ,friends here in Europe. Then I changed my mobile number with the New phone am using now which is my work phone is only know by my Company and people I do Business with, the other phone I dropped it in the Car or sometimes in the house and I won't even check it until after 3 days sometimes
What is important to me is my constituency which is my father and mother with younger ones all I told them is to always drop a voice mail, send text to me on facebook or my phone, I will surely read it and reply, then about Facebook you can never see me online despite the fact that I have just only 110 friends now on facebook.
One thing I have seen is that you can't satisfy every one which is a fact. Good measures but still don't understand why you have to go through all that stress when you can just say No. Try saying No sometimes and watch how it helps create the necessary doubts on their minds before they make any future steps to ask you for money going forward. |

bros, the bolded does not match up. I assume that would have been a typo error, because even with 3 full time job with same hourly pay, u still won't earn $6000 every month. shalom! Maybe he works 24 hrs a day Na today people dey lie for Nairaland... No mind am jare |

You aren't being forced nor cajoled into turning yourself to Father Christmas.
Ask yourself these questions:
Would these people survive if I don't help them this one time? How have they been surviving thus far? Would any of them be of help to you if the tables was turned?
There is absolutely nothing wrong in saying No. No matter how much you give some will still be disappointed so what's the point in trying to help everyone and putting your financial future at risk (Your expenditure if true isn't matching your income and that's a disaster waiting to happen) |

MzJackBaueress: The money was used to pay for subsidies yet the marketers complained of money being owed by the FG?
Someone is obviously lying! Looks like they have reconciled the account twice by the look of things. Someone is definitely lying i tell ya On one hand, NNPC also claimed to have deducted money for PMS subsidy and on the other Hand, GEJ apparently did authorize money to be withdrawn from the ECA account for exactly the same thing. We also heard claims of how the money was withdrawn to fund Sure P or whatever Omo mehn, this kain thing fit make persin weak Phew! |

milychocs: The question is, who defines formal? "Formal" is a western social construct...where oyibo people define the rules for certain dressing and other social behaviours
It is very ethnocentric for them to assume it should define formal for everyone, all the time People should be culturally relative Actually...the oyibo try to be...these days (inadequately so though...they meddle a lot, but I digress) The (certain) Africans persist in being "English"
So so sad About women? The Swazi people ARE not ethnocentric in this case They know it may offend some cultures to have upper body naked women there...so they sent men...
And after this, anyone who still has a problem with how the men look should put it in their pipe and smoke it! I looove the look (cold on their behalf though) Wetin i do you my sista so tey you come use epistle finish me like this? |

They are dressing according to their culture. And it is right.
Honestly....some people think that just because they pose in suit they are civilized.
Nigerians!...emancipate yourself from mental slavery. Would it have been acceptable for their females to also turn up in their full traditional regalia where they had be showing all 'em bobby et al? They don't have to wear suit but they should also dress formal to formal events |
