Pls my fellow Nairalanders i want to tell u what i experienced when i went to Nokia Care at Ikeja to repair my phone.

I met a lady their she collected my phone after checking the IMEI number she told me that the IMEI number is not registered or recognised on their system i did not know what she meant by that.

After that she charged me #2000 and i said the first time this happened to the phone i did it with #700 only she then increased the price to #4000 last i said okay thank u.

I then went to the first place that i did my phone b4, dey collected only #500 and the phone fault was only flashing or update bcus i tried it on my laptop but it did not update. How can i repair Nokia Asha 200 #4000 instead of buying another phone?

So am advising my fellow nairalanders never should dey go to Nokia Care if they dont really know what is wrong with their phones.

De Raufs’ Volunteer Group has offered a scholarship up to university level to the 13- year-old Daniel Oikhena, who emerged from the wheel compartment of an Arik Air flight from Benin Airport to Lagos last Saturday.

The group, in a statement, stressed that it was ready to give scholarship to Master Oikhena up to university level to help him realise his dream of travelling by air legitimately.

Director-General of the Group - Amitolu Shittu said ambitious citizens of Nigeria like Master Oikhena must not be suffocated on the altar of political and bureaucratic enforcement.

He added that rather the little boy’s ambition should be nurtured through qualitative education, and his group is ready to give him all the necessary supports.

BREAKING NEWS: Jonathan sacks Minister of Youth Development

President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday sacked the Minister of Youth Development, Inuwa Abdul-Kadir, from the cabinet.
However, a statement signed by Special Assistant (Media), Sam Nwaobasi, on behalf the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, did not give reasons for the termination of the minister’s appointment.
The statement entitled: “Termination of the appointment of the Honourable Minister of Youth Development” reads: “His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR President and Commander –in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria has relieved Inuwa Abdul-kadir, Esq of his appointment as Honourable Minister of Youth Development with effect from the 26th of August, 2013.
“The former minister is to hand over to the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry ofYouth Development.
“Mr. President expresses appreciation to the former minister for the time he put in the services of the nations and wishes him success in his future endeavours.”
