Please how much is good for a spouse to have as POF in order to apply for 🇨🇦 spousal open work permit ? And can the spouse acts as the sole and main sponsor or his partner in Canada must have a part to play in this sponsorship thing ?

I constantly keep seeing many people asking how to order gcms notes; although it's been answered hundreds of times on this Thread. I will just put it here on how to order GCMS NOTES!

How to apply GCMS / ATIP notes.
Only a person who is in Canada can request the notes. Get your sponsor to request on PA'S behalf!



If principal applicant is in Canada, he/she can request for himself and apply for free under Privacy Act.

If sponsor is requesting it on behalf of Principal applicant, you need consent form from PA and $5 fee. You can receive consent form from spouse via email and upload it. Apply under Access to Information Act.

It takes about 30 days to receive by email. It is a 30 pages document (can be more than 30 pages)

I think One can apply from here without paying tho , I watched the steps on YouTube and I have done it and got my cbsa note in 20days.

Ok chief . The nvc would send correspondence to my spouse who happens to be the petitioner right ?

You need to follow up with nvc they will inform you on documents you need to upload and all the the things you need to be DQ then they will schedule you for an interview but will be based on first come first serve as you can’t pick a date by yourself like the K1 does.

Any country is better than Nigeria now.uk is a good country and people are still making their millions yearly and uk is even expensive to run than canada in reality a friend who took 22 million loan to package his family of 4 last year has paid back 13million out of the loan. He never made such in a year in Nigeria

You are on point .. very true .. my niece hubby has paid up all the loan within a year .. he migrated with his wife and two kids and Dey born another one in uk now.
It also amazed me when a single lady that jus finished uni and with lil professional working experience here in naija could hav dat hustle spirit to work and paid up to £7k of her sch fee btw June to December last yr . She travelled without dependent

It has been said here many times that some lawyers just love to extort people . If you go to any high court and ask those guys working there that you want to do a gift deed they may not charge you up to 10k

I had TB history. IOM request for sputum test which took 10 weeks before I got the results.
I was tired of waiting. After ten weeks result came out negative I was so happy that was my first PPR. Thanks to " Caleb" for giving me the info about the test and calming me down, he was God sent, because I met him on OJC telegram group may Allah answer all your prayers Amin. I did my second x-ray on December 13
Medical passed January 13

I and my husband worked very hard on the application. I have 7 years study gap with a 3rd class honor In Economics. Am going to study Supply chain management at Cambrian college.
I showed I served at NEMA and also did volunteer there.
Also wrote my work experience as an NPower participant and also have business I run with my husband. My husband is my sponsor.

Very I must say.
The locals (whites) are really friendly and are ready to answer your questions if you are lost or confused. I rode the bus to school free to and fro for 2 days cos I'm yet to get my bus pass from school (i explained to the driver with cash in my hand tho). The blacks are hostile for no reason.

It's almost as tho I'm in India rather than Canada lol, the Indians are everywhere but occasionally you will meet the real Canadians.
I think I am the only Nigerian in my class but will find out once classes resume.
Come with enough funds for living expenses o, no jokes, I'm now realizing the reason for the emphasis/visa rejections.
Accommodation is mad expensive, and groceries are cheap but before you know it you don spend "ALOT".

Like @aestake said, there is constant light, water, and roads are tarred and wide.
Google map is a must or you loss literally.

Anywhere u go wey u see naija few and Indians over plenty for der omo run oooo… lol… I worked in Dubai n Doha , it felt as thou I was in mumbai … lol….. Indians and pakis everywhere with there broken English and dirty living…lol

I just got this information, that says, Canada just made a new rule....that if you get admission to school in Canada, you can now apply for Visa for your family to move with you immediately...instead of the normal you go first and later apply for spouse to join you.

How True is this News , please anyone heard about this ?

For Many years ago u can apply with family and move same time . It’s not a new updates

I will suggest that the best way to tackle the issue is for your sponsor to pay in the money to your account and back it up with a gift deed and also present a personal bank account statement stating that he will pick up your total sponsorship because if he continues to present his business account where his the sole owner IRCC will see it that when u need money he may not release money to you if his business also needs the money same time because if you look at it the total business money is almost what you need for your tuition and upkeep

Most of his huge transactions are done with the business acct , he only trf few cash for housekeep inside his personal acct… biz acct of a sole trader is more or less personal account .

No he didn’t present gift deed .. but the transaction was well explained on his sponsorship letter and even on my SOP.

With 8mil in my account and a transfer of 7mil to my account by my co-sponsor who happens to be my immediate brother .That’s a total of 15m in my account and I also submitted my bro coy acct of 10m available bal.
