The president laughing or crying do not contribute or removes any effort to the nation's well being, so stop bringing this senseless argument Please bring to my attention the tragedy that happened on Buharis birthday. No need to get emotional. |

agabaI23: If you cannot speak for Oby, then leave Oby to answer her case.
Dont come here to tell me that someone who said she is leaving the social media, the instrument she used to harass GEJ's govt with BBOG and campaign for Buhari is like giving this government time. The girls have not been found. It is being economical with the truth.
Nigerians did not give GEJ any time. They fired at him from the word go. The 2102 protest was one of the worst and thank God you are all supporting the removal subsidy. That shows the two faced nature of the protest. Nigerians did give Jonathan time. He had ample time before Nigerians became disillusioned. Secondly some people have always supported deregulation and removal of the subsidy. Corruption has always been the issue. SURE P anyone? Lastly, again I can't presume to speak for Oby and neither can you. If you decide to read her mind for her, I'm also at liberty to profer what I feel she is doing. |

The president crying will not prevent bad things from happening, and being a president doesn't mean you should not laugh and dance.
And obviously, GEJ wasn't laughing the Chibok girls, so was Buhari. So stop trying to bring senseless points.
My question is why are we no longer crying for help Or are you enjoying Nigeria the way it is?? PURE SENTIMENT!! Suffering and smiling? We really need God I'm not sure. Did any national tragedy happen on Buharis birthday? Please remind me. |

agabaI23: You did not explain anything. Someone said the truth and you called it sentimental and then you went ahead to sound emotional about how a government is new and yada yada...Who is playing with sentiment here?
We are holding people to their promises and time lines they gave.
2 months to end Boko 2 months to find the girls
BTW, we are not talking about Buhari here. We are talking about 2 faced Oby. Why stole his voice?
You know that the hope of rescuing the girls get slimmer with each passing day. With the campaign promise, we expected a marshal plan on assumption of office but neither Buhari not Oby has said anything reasonable about the girls that they used as campaign slogan. God is watching all deceivers. Perspectives! You call it the truth cos it resonates with you. It resonates with you because of your political leanings. Again I will remind you that I can't speak for Oby, but it is reasonable to give the government time, just as Jonathan was given time by Nigerians. Now I am certain that you didn't vote for Buhari. I make bold to say that people who voted for Buhari didn't do so because of the promises they made. Perhaps those who were getting their first voters cards did so. Seasoned voters know that getting politicians to fulfill their promises is like fetching water in a basket. It goes to show how fed up Nigerians were with the status quo that they chose a Buhari with his documented record of governance. That alone speaks volumes. Is it too much to give him time to fail (as he is likely to do)? When I was young, my mom would say, "if someone asks you to put your hand in the fire would you put it? " Same thing here. If Buhari said he would do this and that would you just take it? If Oby has decided to keep quiet it may be because she wants to give the government time. If that's the case, I think it's reasonable. |

agabaI23: You are the sentimental one here. You did not even explain how he is sentimental.
Address the issue and stop talking about government. What is stoping Oby from continuing with her campaign? Is he the new government? BTW, the new government promised to end BH in 2 months and find the girls. What effort are they making now?
What efforts have they made?
Stop the story of you have been looted. You're still being looted as we talk under Buhari. It wont stop but I know you won't see it because you are on the table.
We are talking about Oby, if you wanna talk about a deceptive government, create a thread and invite me.
Stop being sentimental! I did explain how he's being sentimental. It seems you want to be spoon fed. I can't do that please. While I am not in Obys mind, I can say that even if she continued the campaign, she would not expect any sort of result immediately (for reasons I outlined earlier). She would only continue for the sake of awareness, at least for the time being. Why would you think I'm on the table as you put it? I can't have an opinion? Does that mean you are on the PDP table? For the records, I have stated on this forum that Buhari is likely to fail. However it seems you people want him to fail so you can gloat. If Jonathan was here, things would probably be worse and certainly not better. As Nigerians we need to join hands. If we say Buhari is for the North only, the question is, from '99 to 2015, what did the southerners do for the country or for themselves. It's almost similar to the Biafra agitators. They have their party APGA and it controls just one state. Compare with AD in the West and later ACN and now APC. APGA is the eastern party but they don't support their own and then they will turn round and claim marginalization. APGA fielded Ojukwu and the Igbos didn't support him yet they will later claim marginalization. Same thing here. Before we polarize ourselves, let's give people some time to work. To clean deep rot, everybody needs to buckle up. Consider if you will, renovation of third mainland bridge. There was suffering for a while but at the end, things got better. You can't keep throwing money at short term measures. Let's be objective please. |

Now, we all know how APC used to rejoice anytime boko haram strike during GEJ & used that to campaign against his government then. they(APC) promised to defeat boko haram within 3months but boko haram still strike today 27/12/2015 which makes APC led administration 6months & 27days. if Buhari gve advice & clue to GEJ on how to end the insurgency then, it shows he(Buhari) loves Nigeria(ns) than his ambition but the opposite is the case. agabaI23: What is sentimental about what he said?
Can explain in plain plane? It's a new govt. When the supposed incident happened the govt of the time was sleeping. If I remember correctly GEJ was dancing somewhere a day after the incident. It took the international community to respond before our govt did. Now there has been a change of govt. Let's be honest. Nigeria has been used and abused. You can't expect the new govt to fix things so soon. We have been plundered and the old govt blundered. We aren't strangers to this country. When Turai was oppressing Jonathan, a number of us protested, yours truly included. I published an article and criticized no less a personality than Richard Akinjide SAN! Vanguard published the article, opposite Dele Sobowale (where Kola Animashaun used to be). The country was rooting for Jonathan and they gave him time to perform. It was when he proved to be clueless that things turned awry. By contrast vitriol has been poured on Buhari before, during and after the elections. Give him a chance for heaven's sake. We all know the country has been looted but the revelations have been disheartening. Can't you see the problems past rulers have cost us? Do you honestly think if Jonathan won the elections things will be Amy different? Let's be objective. |

godoluwa: I'm not ashamed to be against APC adminsitration & all APC Zombies & here are some of the reasons why I dsilike APC & their followers.
1. APC has nothing good offer the masses
2. They are always happy anytime boko haram strike during the tenure of GEJ
3. Buhari never contributed anything on how to end boko haram menace during GEJ era instead his party always used the loss of peoples lives to convince the masses to vote for their party To the best of my knowledge, anybody that has the love of his people in his heart will not folds his arms while the country burns simply because he is an opposition to the party that is in power. lets take the recent attack in France as a case study, the opposition leader didnt use the attack to canvass vote for his party but instead he gave his advice on how to prevent future occurence of such incidence GEJ has his own bad sides but his tenure is far better than OBJ tenure. carefully looking at the people that made up PMB cabinets shows that APC is a party of deceit which still practice come & chop your own types of politics. some will say 6months is too short to judge a party at the national level but I want you all to carefully investigate how impoverised most of the APC governed states are. Take Osun state as a case study, some people says Aregbesola was unable to pay workers salaries due to the fact that Osun states allocations was slashed by GEJ admisnistration, GEJ is out since 7months ago but Aregesola is yet to pay the workers. APC never said anything about Aregbesola opon imo scam despite the millions spent on that white elephant project. Recently, we heard that Okorocha spent over 600million on Christmas village while he owes workers about 4months salary. Here in Oyo states, Ajimobi is owing Oyo states workers salaries, & for over 4 years of Ajimoni tenure there is no reasonable projects that his administration can boast of. The proposed Technical University is now a white elephant despite the millions that Ajimobi administration claimed to have spent with nothing to show for it. Now, public school student pays school fees still APC claims they are offring free education.
The recent elections in Bayelsa & Kogi shows what the future of elections in Nigeria will be. Has APC ever condemned the activities of any of their governors that maltreat his people? instead they will keep mute while the people languish in suffering. Any political party or politician that plays politics with loss of citizen lives is wicked.
Some will take this post as a message of hatred, some will call it disjointed but before the end of first quater of next year, many eyes will be opened to reality. I saw your name as the OP so I read the topic. Question relating to No 3 You (Pdp) have been in power for years and experienced the insurgency. What are you currently suggesting to end it? Seeing as its one of the things your party and president failed to do, perhaps you have learned from posterity so tell the new president what to do. |

analice107: so if God gets scared of your threats and heals ur father, you will have a rethink that he indeed exist?
@Jonnydon, come and hear one of your disciples straggling. pls, take a stand, If God doesn't exist, then he doesn't exist. Not when you need something from Him, he exists, when he doesn't come through, he seizes to exist.
I have said it here, the only obstinate Atheist is Jonnydon. All others are confused. An atheist requires proof. Maybe for this fellow, that's the proof he requires. You should also distinguish between atheists ( who don't believe in God) and rebels (who believe in God but for their own reason choose to deviate eg Job). I'll share a story. My in law told me once that when his father was gravely ill, his father was comforting him, telling him that there is no way he (the father) would die, as long as there's God. The father died. The son still believes even though he went through a brief rebellious phase. If you decide to understand what atheism is, even though you retain your belief system, you would be able to contribute better to such discussions. Look at your post. Not even a word of kindness for a troubled person. |
