Adaeze Oputa, the daughter of Nigeria’s social commentator and singer, Charly Boy, couldn't hold back what she came across recently on a Nigerian flight, which has pushed her to speak out.


Adaeze was on the flight to Abuja when she discovered that the company’s engineers used duct tape to hold some parts of the wires underneath the passenger's seat.

Shocked by this act, she questioned how other parts of the plane could possibly be as she also complained that the meal served on Arik Air flights is nothing to write home about.

YBNL star, Adekunle Gold is getting set to release his first studio album titled GOLD. The 'orente' singer who has since had a photoshoot with famed photographer TY Bello which he shared this morning has revealed how he got his album title from his presidential connect.

Speaking on his album, he wrote on Social Media:

“When the thought to start working on album came, I was not sure what I wanted to call it. I prayed to God(as always) to give me a name.

I started talking to my friends to give me ideas. @miss_zbuhari and I were talking about the album title one evening and she mentioned “Gold” amongst many other names, but I dismissed the idea.

I took my confusion to Twitter and asked friends to suggest a name. Almost everybody suggested “Gold”. Shame didn’t let me go back to Zahra to tell her I’m going with ‘Gold’ until weeks after. Lol.

According to TMZ, Chris Ubosi and his company, Megalectrics, are suing Rihanna over a 2013 concert that never happened. Ubosi says he struck a deal with 2 people who claimed to rep Rihanna, as well as her label Roc Nation and Jay Z. Rihanna would get $425,000 to play for 65 minutes.

Ubosi allegedly forwarded Roc Nation $160,000, to secure the date, according to the Manhattan civil suit. But the month she was due to arrive, Rihanna’s reps said they would have to reschedule. Ubosi says he agreed, but only if Rihanna posted the new date on social media.

In the suit, he says that never happened so Megalectrics pulled the plug, and demanded its money back. Since Ubosi didn't get the cash, he's suing Rihanna, Jay Z and Roc Nation. Sources close to Rihanna however told TMZ that her management knew nothing about the gig and the singer never collected a dime.


A rep for Roc Nation also said: "Rihanna, Roc Nation nor anyone associated personally or professionally with either party was in contact with this person. Unfortunately this person was scammed"

There was pandemonium in Agege, Lagos State, recently after some guys threw caution to the wind by descending on one of their own, Small Doctor, the “gbera” crooner and “ain ain ain” originator.

He was allegedly beaten up for failing to give them money after his performance at an event at the Agege stadium.

The fans had allegedly insisted on collecting some money from Small Doctor, but due to his Street cred, he allegedly refused, cause he didn't want to have a slippery slope where he will keep on paying them anytime he performs.

This led to an argument which soon degenerated into fisticuffs which led to him being given the beating of his life. 

The security men on duty couldn’t help much as Small Doctor was overpowered and manhandled with his jewelries snatched.

According to reportnaija, despite his swollen face, the situation was only brought under control after he parted with some cash…
