Nigerians on Uyi's Instagram page however saw it as an opportunity to bash Anna because they felt she was throwing a diva tantrum and she had no right to ask the club owner to take down the photo.

Mavin singer, Tiwa Savage the proud mother of baby Jamal spoke to newsmen recently about life as a new mother.

The 'Standing Ovation' singer claims that her baby has been nothing short of a blessing to her as he has brought about a sharp increase in her fan base.

"Since I gave birth to my baby my followership has actually grown to 1.4 million on Instagram and twitter respectively. It is growing way faster since I had my baby. I would actually say my baby is a blessing", she said.

Tiwa however agreed that her husband initially complained about her paying too much attention to baby Jamal, and advised ladies to pay close attention to their man, after delivery, she said;

Men often complain that their wives pay more attention to their babies. Are you experiencing that too?

Initially yes, I am not going to lie about that. He wakes up every two hours, you are going to devote all your time to him and your sex life might not be interesting as before. The Nigerian League Management Company has slammed a N2.5 million fine and a 10-match ban on billionaire businessman, Ifeanyi Ubah, who was caught on camera slapping Heartland FC goalkeeper, Ebele Obi.
This comes after video evidence nailed him.

The statement read:

“Chief Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, proprietor of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, is suspended from all NPFL match venues for the next 10 matches.

“He has now been fined N2.5m because LMC found him guilty of encroaching field of play & assaulting Heartland player Ebele Obi.

“The fabled billionaire is expected to offer a letter of apology & an undertaking to be a good ambassador of the NPFL.The LMC further bans all self- procured security services other than those sanctioned by the LMC from all NPFL match venues henceforth.
“Four of the 10-match NPFL ban is suspended for a probationary period till the end of the season.

“Ubah has up till 5pm on Saturday to appeal this decision if he objects the ruling,” the statement concluded.

Four students of the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for attempting to resurrect the corpse of a 300-level student of Microbiology, Eniola Jacob.

The suspects are Inerima Alaniye (a 400-level student of Mathematics); Awe Raphael (a 500-level student of Law); Adeboye Adeshola (a 200-level student of Political Science); and Arawomo Stephen.

It was reported that Jacob allegedly took an insecticide, Sniper, last Saturday on the campus. He was said to have been rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, where he died on Sunday.

It was also reported that students who attempted to resurrect his corpse were leaders of the Cherubim and Seraphim Students Fellowship on the campus.

Jacob was said to have been a strong member of the fellowship before his death.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the students’ behaviour and actions at Jacob’s grave were suspicious, adding that they had been transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation, Eleweran.

The police spokesperson said during Jacob’s burial, the four students suddenly emerged and asked that the corpse be exhumed.

He said: “They were arrested at the graveside. They were arrested because their actions were suspicious. They insisted on exhuming the corpse that had been buried. They said they wanted to resurrect it. It came to us as a surprise that in this modern age, some group of young boys would come out and say they want to resurrect a dead man. “We felt it was a strange development. If they were not cultists they would not make such a demand. We thought they were looking for parts of the deceased to tamper with and we took them to Eleweran for further investigations.” The Public Relations Officer of the University of Lagos, Mr. Toyin Adebule, said he could not confirm the arrest of the students.

He, however, confirmed that Jacob took Sniper on the school premises.

He said the police had taken over the case and a corona inquest had begun.

He said:- “This is a corona case and the school is not involved.

The beef in the entertainment industry in Nigeria has taken a new turn as two top comedians are at each others neck over an unpaid debt.
