@op except if your mind is madeup I would advice you to go for the new Nokia 701. It uses the new symbian belle which is awesome. Also its hardware specs (u can Google it) are top notch and can be matched only by highend android phones which are more than #40,000 more expensive.
There are hd games and nice softwares available. Also the Cindy update promises to be better
Education › Re: United Kingdom Blacklists Nigerian Universities by jedisco(m): 9:56pm On Dec 21, 2011
most of this schools had problems because of over admitting students.
I think majority of the schools are from the SE mainly because of the importance Igbo people attach to medicine leading to excess pressure on their schools.
Unfortunately although their accreditation has been returned, white man no wan hear dat one
Phones › Re: Blackberries To Get Android Phones? by jedisco(m): 1:25am On Dec 21, 2011
well I'm using my Nokia 701 with the new symbian belle (although some said they copied other platforms- why should I care?)
I think its an awesome phone with wonderful specs and super cheap as you wont get any phone less than 85000 with thesame specs while it goes for just 55000.
And I'm not talking about the superior Nokia hardware and the longlasting battery.
Can't wait for the new Cindy update

Perhaps if u had taken ur time to read from page 1 (like i did) u would notice that all these your points have been treated. Moreover my post was a reply to evilbrain
Politics › Re: Why the "Anti-Gäy Marriage Bill" is Wrong by jedisco(m): 5:23pm On Dec 10, 2011
also to add to no 3. Consent is not an issue as the dead persons consent can be got before the persons death as is obtainable in organ harvest
Politics › Re: Why the "Anti-Gäy Marriage Bill" is Wrong by jedisco(m): 5:18pm On Dec 10, 2011
@Evilbrain
1. Don't u think making such strict regulations against prostitutes is discriminatory and a breech of their human rights? Seeing that this is a means of livelihood 4 them those laws should be abolished or extended to oda professions. Also the issue of health risk should be left for the consenting adult to bear afterall every job has its risks
2. I have been with animals and I can tell u I have never seen any act of homosexuality (not disputing those who have seen) but have seen multiple acts of inbreeding. Infact a goat will not think twice in bleeping its mother. But if u think they should not be copied then the idea of homo being natural cos it exists in animals doesn't carry water. And also why shouldn't siblings be allowed to marry
Bestiality= dismissing this on the issue of consent is hypocritical. Let me ask u if we take consent from poultry before killing them for food. So along thesame line of thought we don't need the animals consent to have sex with it. Hope u know its been legalised for US soldiers
3. The issue of public health as regards corpses is non-existent. We are in the 21st century and corpses can be kept for years with little or no health risk. So people who want to marry corpses should be allowed if they can eliminate the health risks
4. I brought in this because uve used the west as a model for human rights. There is nothing like limitless rights. They put limits to their human rights as it concerns them (polygamy) and we have also put limits to ours as it concerns us (homosexuality)

In summary; Homosexuality is an abnormality that although might occur in some lower animals is wrong and can, should and must be corrected.
Also its the gate way to a vicious cycle that includes bestiality, prostitution, incest, necrophilia etc which all erode our values and must be stopped at the gate (homosexuality)

Evilbrain ive noticed ur silence on some issues

From your POV what is your take on making prostitution legal
2. What about legalising inbreeding and violation since it occurs in animals also and therefore natural (according to you)
3. U should also be in support of bestiality, getting married to inanimate objects like carvings etc (since some people have sexual drive toward these things), and also sleeping with corpses
4. Also why is the west silent about legalising polygamy when all the concerned parties give their concent

To all of u asking jona to step down. Let me ask if he steps down who will take over?
We know it would be sambo, the crises in the north will definitely chill out and the northern cabal would have succeeded in taking us for a ride.
Jona should only step down if his successor fulfils these conditions
1. He must not be a muslim
2. He must not be a hausa or yoruba man.
Till we get someone who fulfils these conditions, jona should continue

I cant help but laugh when i read gbawe and kobo's comments. At least we all know that from recent history the situation on nairaland politics section is the total opposite of the true situation in nigeria.
One question i have for them is: What do real nigerians think about GEJ?
And to those still calling buhari. Any sane person will agree with me that if the elections are conducted again between gej and buhari; gej will still win by even a greater margin
So my question for u is: why do real nigerians prefer gej to buhari if the latter was truly better
Politics › Re: "Secret Letter" From Obasanjo To Jonathan Stirs Anger by jedisco(m): 9:17pm On Oct 05, 2011
I think this is an attempt at blackmail from the head of those agencies. It may be that GEJ already wants to remove them and they are making this up just to put pressure on him by blackmailing him

Mr. Man what has this got to do with fresh air? The other day some ACN governors were deporting ghanians for no reason and you all blamed it on our leaders now its a PDP governor and u come with fresh air.
The fact that they gave reasons for their actions shows they are more civilized than those who give no reasons - that is fresh air

Mr. Man i have not seen anything that GEJ has done that will make him loose against ayatollah. Instead there are alot of things the jihadist has done post-election that makes him even more unpopular.
Like it or not nigerians prefer GEJ and we have not changed our minds

Sometimes I laugh at you people on nairaland. I wonder whether you live in Nigeria or know anything about her polity. You should not easily forget your stvpid predictions before the elections and how they turned out
LIKE IT OR NOT IF ELECTIONS WERE REPEATED TODAY OR IN 2015 WITH THESAME CANDIDATES GEJ WILL WIN EVEN WITH A HIGHER MARGIN.
22 million nigerians cant be wrong

Some of you people who live abroad really make me wanna puke. You sit in America talking rubbish about things you know nothing about. You sit there just knowing Jonathan has ''done nothing''. Tell me, do you get any Nigerian news channels were you live? If you did (and watched them) you would see that EVERYTHING you claim he has not done, he HAS in fact done. The Army spokesman was on NTA news, warning all miscreants that the army would defend democracy at all costs. Battle tanks and military convoys were shown traversing various areas of unrest.

Dusk to dawn curfews have been imposed on the 5 affected northern states TILL FURTHER NOTICE. The police chief  warned on NTA that his forces were fully mobilised to deal with hoodlums in all areas. And then Jonathan himself appeared and made his statement condemning the violence and requesting that all political candidates rein in their supporters.

WHAT THE HELL MORE DO YOU WANThuh?

Sorry, but we have a civilized, educated person as president, not some fire-spitting, pepper-soup guzzling thug, of the type you prefer.

President Goodluck Jonathan has reacted in the right way. His job as president is not to inflame the situation, not to come on TV threatening fire and brimstone, but to stabilize and calm the nation.

Politics › Re: Buhari Rejected Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala As Running Mate by jedisco(m): 1:16pm On Mar 30, 2011
I really foot think buhari knows politics. Teaming up with this lady and combining with acn and possibly apga would give buhari a truly nationalistic party which has structures in all regions. Also getting some rich men 2 support him with funds would really help afterall the incumbent has the richest nigerians on his list. Doing the above may not make him win but will certainly cause a re-run and atleast people like me would be voting for him
Politics › Re: Boko Haram Group Killed A Muslim Cleric In Northeastern Nigera by jedisco(m): 9:52am On Mar 14, 2011
I was born and bred in kd and experienced the two riots firsthand and i can say that even though most muslims are very good people 95% will kill for religion.
Can u ask yourself how the religion spread through northern africa including nigeria.
Fact is that it has a violent undertone which has been exaggerated by some.

if u notice no man on this forum has told u to keep the maid.
Forget all these women talking rubbish they dont know how a mans mind works.
Your control is perfectly ok its just that you are saying the truth
Its better you avoid tempting situations cos u dont know how u will react cos. when it comes to sex dont trust yourself.
To those quoting the bible
It says resist the devil and he will FLEE but it also says FLEE youthful lusts. My brother dont stand and resist cos many strong men of God have fallen victims. Just look for a reason and tell your wife so you dont sound autocratic

Politics › Re: British Investigators Turn Sights On Soludo by jedisco(m): 9:04pm On Nov 28, 2010
Who do some people think soludo is?
The man could not even win an election in his own state let alone in nigeria. He is a intellect yes but a POLITICAL NOBODY
GEJ would be very happy if atiku were to run with soludo cos the man cant even convince his local government to vote atiku.
If GEJ was so desperate why didnt he go after ibb, atiku or better candidates for the vp who have atleast won elections before.
Atiku being the concensus candidate is bad enough then with soludo being his vp GEJ should stop his campaign cos he has already won
