shadeyinka: Hi Bro, you know I never heard of him...Ravi Zacharias
I dug up some interesting things about him: Zacharias states that a coherent worldview must be able to satisfactorily answer four questions: that of origin, meaning of life, morality and destiny. He says that while every major religion makes exclusive claims about truth, the Christian faith is unique in its ability to answer all four of these questions.[28] He routinely speaks on the coherence of the Christian worldview,[29] saying that Christianity is capable of withstanding the toughest philosophical attacks.[30] Zacharias believes that the apologist must argue from three levels: the theoretical, to line up the logic of the argument; the arts, to illustrate; and "kitchen table talk", to conclude and apply.[31] Zacharias' style of apologetic focuses predominantly on Christianity's answers to life's great existential questions,[32] with defense of God.
I dof my hat for the man. Kai, I wish I could be close to him in presenting Jesus, God the Father and the Spiritual in a logically clear manner.
Thanks for the complement. You are welcome. |

ikaleguy: Welcome development if finally implemented.
Why we still hold on to this concept of national grid is the reason we are where we are presently. Our transmission infrastructure can't handle more than 5000Mw presently. They should go for off- grid mode.
The cost per kWh is a bit high though compared with what obtains elsewhere. Are we not using the same Sun? Nevada Solar One costs $266 million for 72MW. So I think the cost is fair. |

stevolinkon40: I used Stanbic bank mobile app for the transfer and yet 105 debited... I have been using the app to transfer money before and I also use *909# option and *894# for first bank and within same bank is free until recently. To other banks it's not a new development but within same bank. It's new. Now when someone withdraw from arm different from your bank 65 will be deducted on all withdraw unlike befor that it will only be deducted on third withdrawal . Email or call your banks' contact center to verify. I do FBN transfers and have never been charged. |

What channel did you use? Internet Banking or ATM. If ATM then the charge is collected by Interswitch not your bank. Still call or email your banks customer care. My 3 cents |

DivideUs: dcc? can you educate me a little more please? Facebook Ad Service is Registered in Ireland. So your bank(the card issuer) expects you to checkout the payment in Euro or USD. By displaying a naira value for the payment, Facebook has already done the conversion from the billing currency(USD/Euro) to Naira. This conversion should be done by the card issuer(your bank) and not the merchant(Facebook). |

Coolcube: B. A. (English) Unilorin
M. A. (English Language) Unilorin
PhD (English Language - Stylistics) Hopefully UI
Please, can anyone confirm the claim that UI does not accept non-UI master's degree holders into the PhD programme directly regardless of their grade unless they go through MPhil/PhD conversion?
If it is true,I may be forced to apply to Unilag because I don't want to go back to Unilorin.
Are there other universities in Nigeria that also discriminate like UI? I don't think you would get a real answer here. The best answer would have to be from the postgraduate school prospectus of University of Ibadan. |

Very myopic IMHO. Many of the things we enjoy today are products of the hard work of PhDs and not necessary business people. PhDs solve extremely hard problems and contribute to the body of knowledge in their disciplines. PhDs are now translating their research into startups, case in point Google. Doctors are another rare breed of people. It is not easy to commit 7-10 years of your life on Medical School. Advances in Medicine is the reason why life expectancy as improved over the last century. |

fitinwell: As a computer analysts.. I shake my head for such a Website.. Designed for Nigeria Police Force.. In this 21st century... Below are my findings
* Poor Human Computer Interaction * Poor Design Interface * No Cyber system security Validation * No Restrictions * Supports data duplicacy * No Sessions Time-out * No Real-time form behavior.
Now to crown it all.. Using My sql to collate such a robust data.. From mass unemployed Nigerian youth.. You are expecting 10,000 applicant but less that 1.5million across the globe will try and fill the application.
Why don't you ask.. Facebook, yahoo, and. Many more services provider.. To know how they where able to register 6billion users and manage there accounts for free and still counting.
Why don't you want to invest in this type of project.. Since the IG says funds as been release by the federal government to kick start the recruiting process. Bro, I don't agree with all your submissions. MySql is not that bad as a DBMS the challenge is the site most likely was not optimized which led to performance degradation. |

chinchum: FG has picked Kogi and Akwa ibom state.
It is easiest to generate large MW of electricity using the nuclear way than any other , however, it is the most risky.
I suggest we get it done at the moment while we are grappling with power shortages, and plan to decommission within 10-15 years after operation starts, hopefully by then we would as a nation have commissioned other means of power generation that can meet /exceed the nations electric power needs The world's largest nuclear station generates about 7,965 MW. If we can build two of about 3000 MW each we would be on the road to redemption. |
Politics › Re: President Buhari On Nuclear Energy by jeebz: 8:39pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
bamosagie: On the contrary, Lagos have demonstrated maturity in handling security issue hence militancy or religious extremism have not been able to thrive, also we have the highly sophisticated and educated people to man the station, imagine the employment and revenue potential. Lagos stands head and shoulder above others in term of location for such a strategic project. Lagos is constrained in terms of land mass. You need a large expanse of land to build a nuclear station. The Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant which is the world's largest plant by capacity on 1, 038 acres. Don't think we have that luxury in Lagos. Ondo or Ogun Waterside LGA would be a viable option. |
