Fired people based on race (If you have worked in America before, you will know that any organization you fire the black people, that job will collapse, because its the black people that really do the work, when the supervisor is not around. The Caucasians just talk with accents and give orders.)
Started deporting immigrants with military jets
Pulled out of WHO
Stopped all aide to all other countries, all the HIV/TB medications sent to Africa stopped.
The real show is just starting. Trump likes to just act to the cheering of the peanut gallery. The only thing that makes America great is its diversity.
Lookmun: Farotimi never said he’s not doing again. He hasn’t recanted his speech or given a public apology or withdrawn his book. Farotimi doesn’t have to do anything.
Exactly!
It was Afe Babalola who withdrew the charges. Why would Dele have to do anything?
9jatriot: So the Dele guy accepted the case to be withdrawn, rather than prove to us how he lost a case because the other person was corrupt?
I kind of hate this culture of having to beg for people who deliberately do bad things hoping to beg their way out of it. It is very common on the road, someone will deliberately bash your car and then immediately start begging, if you refused, the people around will turn against you as a wicked man.
People just hate taking responsibility.
Did he beg for the case to be withdrawn?
Why would he insist to do case and be wasting money when the person who made allegations said he's not doing again?
If you were in his shoes, is that what you would've done?
It is a tiny substation designed to receive power from 33kV (high tension) lines and send 11kV into neighborhoods, where smaller transformer units step it down to the normal home supply.
In Oshogbo alone, there are 4 such substations. These are units that were commissioned by Executive Directors (ED) in the days of the old PHCN. Minister sef no dey bother.
These things were being built all over Nigeria during OBJ/Atiku tenure, they fit on a 60 metres x 40 metres piece of land.
That's what the Vice President is commissioning, so why would there be photographs? It will be too embarrassing!
BTW, the pic up there is many times bigger than the actual thing.
internationalman: Imagine if one of these people being deported was my brother. How would I have felt.
But I believe president Trump is looking out for the best interest of his people and that’s all that matters as a good leader.
I hope they have liquidated all their properties and sent the cash along with any cash they might have home.
It would no doubt feel bad to have such happen to one's relative or friend, but the US belongs to the citizens who are paying taxes to have a great country.
I'm not a Citizen of the US, neither do I live there, but it's a great thing for any country to do.
Imagine how many bandits entered our country illegally, and they are here destroying lives.
DrTee1: Only fate prevented him from becoming Nigeria's President after the demise of Abacha.
Abacha was known to be terminally ill before he did, at least by the top hierarchy, and Jeremiah was the next highest ranking military officer after Diya, who was already on death row, pending Abacha's signature.
Bamaiyi raised the suspicion at the Provisional Ruling Council Officer's meeting following Abacha's death that Useni was indeed the last person who was with Abacha before he died that morning. Others present agreed.
The next person in line, after Useni was the Chief of Defence Staff: Major General Abdulsalami Abubakar who was not particularly in Abacha's good books, and was rumoured to be pencilled for retirement at about the time the Abacha transition to civilian rule was also heating up - just when Abacha died.
The rest, they say, is history. IF Useni hadn't been with his friend Abacha in the early hours of June 8 1998, when Abacha died, that suspicious may not have arisen and he may well have automatically become Head of State when Abacha died, as Lt. Gen Diya was already convicted at the time.
Fate.
Abdulsalami went on to run the shortest transition programme in Nigeria's history and he remains continually respected for that. May Nigeria become great again in my lifetime.
The "suspicion" was very convenient, too, because it prevented a "Christian", or in any case, a non-muslim, from ruling Nigeria at the time.
It's worthy of note to remember that the last time a non-muslim ruled prior to that time was 1979 (OBJ), and Muslims had held sway for 19 unbroken years at that point.
I won't count the Sonekan charade because he wasn't in charge, and we all know it.
The same OBJ would later take over at the 20-year mark, in 1999.
Nnamdipapa: Signing pardons for his fellow criminals. He belongs in jail with those baskets of deplorables.
Biden pardoned his son, a confirmed criminal.
Biden pardoned a judge known as the "kids for cash judge" who sentenced minors to prison where they were forced to provide cheap labour for companies who then settled him.
hedonido: The predictably loud, arrogant ignorance of the typical African clown. Barely evolved 'humans' who are incapable of seeing beyond their short, grimy, mucus-y noses.
It's not my fault that you refused to think.
AI is gold in the digital world, music, media, information technology. In the physical world, it requires a medium to mimic humans, hence the humanoid robots.
Why build a humanoid robot to climb a ladder when a 19 year-old man can already do it? Those Boston Dynamics robots you see cost multimillions, if you don't know.
Do you know that construction sites can have 2,000 men and women doing different things a the same time?
Why would you have robots doing those jobs when there are people already capable of it?
How many companies will be able to buy these robots all over the world?
You're the clown, because you chose to believe Bill Gates instead of thinking for yourself.
You just come here and expose your ignorance. He even said "people who create AI", when AI is already capable of coding, when the biggest potential danger of AI after self-awareness is self-proliferation?
Go and research the ethics of AI instead of coming here to expose the limitations of your tiny mind.
BleedGraphix: Many of us really under rate AI. It only needs exoskeleton to perform those tasks. And soon they will will even be able to create a better model of themselves. AI is scary and it's just in its early stage.
KEVIND: Job Market Crisis As the race of artificial intelligence heats up, tech companies are at war - a war for top talent. Big tech is offering eye-water salaries, perks and even calling employees personally to hire them for AI roles. But while there is a boom in AI jobs, other jobs don't seem so safe. Artificial intelligence could affect 60% of all jobs across the world by 2025 according to a new AI report. Microsoft founder Bill Gates says there are only three jobs that are immune from artificial intelligence. What are those jobs? Is your job AI-proof?
These Three Jobs Will Survive AI: 1.Energy related 2.Biology related 3.Those who make AI
