Basic123:How? Is it the people being taxed out of their minds that will be motivated to invest in agriculture and industry, or the government? Funny thing is, the government, which has the choice of diversifying the economy and chose instead to start wringing the citizens of their livelihood, will do no such thing. They will embezzle the funds and spend the balance on harebrained infrastructure projects like the coastal road. The country is going nowhere but south in 10 years, unless another government comes in that will help Nigerians to be more productive, and, my friend, this taxation drive is doing the exact polar opposite! |

Guide777:Marrying twice often times means one was divorced, but not always. Anyway, it might be, in the case of the lady Pastor, but even then, you don't know what she had to walk away from. Well, the "principled" and "high-value" ladies are now taking a huge, bitter draught from the tall glass of chilled reality that was waiting for them while they were busy rejecting men. I saw the video of praying spinsters. Most of them were beautiful and would have been quite stunning in their twenties. Some people will see that amount and use it to pay rent, or spend it on a burial or something other crazy stuff. A wise woman might have bought a sewing machine first, kept it, then gone for training on garment making. Another person who used to get by with a few derica of rice may go and buy half a bag. It's all about if the person needs to move up in life badly enough. |
