I don't envy u one bit. I knw what it's like to have that feeling of being in another person's house. It's ur husband i blame and not you or even the in-law.

He'll come for u when he's ready and when d coast is clear if not, u probably weren't meant to be togeda.

I agree with those who suggested that you take her to a certified hospital and narrate your story to the doctor. Her life and that of the foetus is definately in danger. It's abnormal, as you have noticed for a human being to bleed for so long so the earlier, the better.

Now back to business. I am Yoruba and i strongly think it's best that igbos and yorubas go their seperate ways. This is because i doubt if anybody would be able to succeed in taking the animosity we live in away for good. This has been existing for decades and we don't seem to be outgrowing it.

It would have been best if we could see beyond our differencies and live together in peace but how sure are we that it's going to work. Especially with comments here on NL, it's clear that it's not only the past generations problem. It has unfortunately been passed to us and some will definately do the same with their kids. I pray they extend it to our embassies around the world, just like they did when they introduced biometric passports. We who reside outside the country will by so doing benefit from the exercise.

I'm TOTALLY against it. But in marriage, there're many things u didn't bargain for that eventually pop up and you just have to flow with it. This is applicable to the wives (who have little or no say), you just have to continue surviving, hoping and praying it ends soonEST.

But in rare cases, it has to do with u helping them (relatives) such as travelling abroad and they have to stay with you till they can fend for themeselves, enrolling in school and so they get to live comfortably at ur place instead of being on campus where there's no supervision. In these cases, u just have to be of help but i'd advice they come up later in the marriage and not at the early stage.

You have to report the case to the police since u say u don't thk there's any special institution overseeing such nuisance. I'm a christian but i don't thk because they're praying, they have the right to disturb others. The night is meant to be quiet and not the other way round.
