It's funny that my sister has her daughter in a girls only school. We can anticipate the possibility that in the near future, these schools would be forced to open their gates to kids who are boys anatomically, but feel like they are girls.

I'm pretty sure (or I least I hope) that private schools will be able to remail private and run their schools how they see fit. Tough tough... raising kids in this mess called massachusetts.

Lol. Only here in Massachusetts. This nonsense typically comes from the loose liberal canons in Boston and the immediate towns like Cambridge & Newton and co...those of us a bit west-er simply shake our heads at these guys. I guarantee you if you took a poll, you would find that these looney ideas are only supported by the metro-sexuals - everyday hardworkers can see all kinds of wrong with this.

And I daresay schools west (Worcester county) of the looney headquarters will probably not implement this nonsense. I'm willing to bet on it.

I don't think it is appropriate to have intending couples perform a pregnancy test before they are wedded. I don't see any reasonable explanation for such practice.

Are they trying to ensure that the man does not marry someone who is pregnant with another man's child? Or are they saying that if the man happens to be responsible then both of them will be ostracized? Or is it that the lady will be given some special gift for not getting pregnant?

Really, I don't see the rationale for the pregnancy test. I do support some form of medical examinations before marriage however but this should come from the couples and not something that is forced on them. I believe this should be a matter of choice.

As much as I agree with you the bottomline is this:

no one is forced to attend these 'churches'. If the couple doesn't like the rules of the church they attend then by all means, there are a thousand other churches available.
