Roland17: Spurs vs Warriors: this is a very unpredictable match up, but I think the experience of spurs would prevail. Warriors have already over achieved by reaching the semi's.

Okc vs Grizzlies: the grizz are the only genuine team left with a post game and defensively apt, okc is a jump shooting team and without westbrook it has become tougher, I am going with the grizzlies, hopefully zibo can stay out of foul trouble during the series.

Knicks vs Indiana: this is the end of the road for the AARP knicks, the pacers are overtly physical and pound the glass, the pacers would win this one.

Heats vs Bulls: the bulls might steal one or two games, but they lack instant offensive, the heats possess too much fire power, especially three point shooting, thus they get my vote...
I would not wish to see rose come back, the team is already struggling with chemistry, I doubt rose would solve it...

But i would sure love an upset.
Solid analysis as usual Roland. Indiana exposed the deficiencies of the Knicks. It'd be a much better finals anyways between the Pacers & Heat...plenty of bad blood left over from last year cheesy.

And I feel so bad for OKC...they just had the rug pulled out from under them with Westbrook's injury. I expect it to go 7games...but I think Durant's superstar factor can be enough to send them to the WCF. We'll see....

Roland17: I think KG has ran the last lap of his professional career, i doubt he would be back next season.
I rebuke you!

And where would Paul Pierce play next season?
I rebuke you again! cheesy cheesy

Pierce & KG will be back in Celtics uniforms for a final season...or Danny Ainge and me will share the leg of one pant (or trousers for you brits) angry walahi! e go talk true when I involve my jazzman, the gloves will come off.

all4naija: Thank you for the warning. I will stick to that as long as they too respond positively to this your sensible comment. I like to steer clear off insulting people in this forum but it is hard to do so when that is only the thing most people understand here.

That I can do to stop using insulting words.
Thank you dude! I appreciate that.

Brother neophyte007,
I'm truly sorry about your loss. The death of a child is especially painfully. However NL doesn't allow topics like these. You can re-open another topic to discuss islam & violence in the crime section or Islam section. Thanks.

I've just gone through ua profile with fury over a comment u made on a post about temptation. At the end of browsing through, I was disarmed and and I fell into admiration of ua commitment and humility. You are welcome. May our good Lord continue to empower and embolden you as you represent Christ as a cherrished ambassador in a very perverse generation and environment.Be reminded that people like u are constant targets of the fiery darts of the wicked ones; but the good news is: He will SURELY deliver you from them all.
oh wow...sorry I 'vexed' you to begin with, I'm curious on what post was that? and a big thanks for the encouragement, I don't get a lot of it so its really nice to see. And it means a lot coming from one of my Father's children. May God also continue to lead & guide you, as you remain a light & salt in the earth! amen smiley.

This is an amazing accomplishment for her - for a racist country like Italy. I'm very impressed and I hope she does very well in office. And kudos to those who voted her in as well. Been to Modena and they have a decent amount of black folk there so that must've helped but no doubt a lot of whites supported her for her to have gotten this far/high.

Roland17: This was JT's response when told JR Smith was coming back fro the game " who is JR Smith, is he Patrick Ewing?"

The Knicks came in dressed in Black but they were buried, hope they enjoyed the funeral....

So far, my picks are looking good for the next round.
Celtic Pride baby. We don't fold easy and many of us have been saying you can't trust those Knicks. I hope the C's can push it to the brink...common guys, miracles can happen smiley.
Foreign Affairs / Re: China Commits Billions In Aid To Africa As Part Of Charm Offensive by JeSoul(f): 8:22pm On May 01, 2013
shymexx:

I concur... The whole shady "foreign aid(s)" thing is reminiscent of how our ancestors sold their brothers/sisters into slavery for mirrors... We've not even recovered from the slave-like juicy oil deals they signed off in the 60s and 70s, yet they have started selling off the future of the next two generations just to enrich themselves.. It's just a vicious cycle of substituting one slave master with another..
So who is going to stop these greedy leaders? this blackberry generation?

bookface:

The Chinese are not what you want to go to bed with. Better to stick to the good'ol hand to man relationship, no one has ever been known to get enslaved by self sustenance. If anyone thinks China has their best interests at heart, i could sell such a person the bridge my grandad left me when he died.
Lol. There is no country who has another countrys "best interests at heart" now smiley. What we have are 'scratch my back, I scratch yours' arrangements between nations. I don't think the "self-sustenance" approach will work, at least not if we're trying to become a dominant force in the world. No nation can exist and grow by itself. And in today's ever volatile world, there is a need to forge alliances with other nations, strong nations. The key is to be shrewd and not sign into contracts and not read the fine print or analyzing the long term repercussions leaving yourself screwed as many african countries have done when letting in foreigners.

You guys are talking about irrelevancies...abegi back to the playoffs! cheesy

Word is Blake may not play in game 6. On the brink of elimination this surely can't be good news for the Clippers. And I didn't the see Warriors going up 3-1 on the Nuggets, they survived. I still think its going to 7 games...

and oh for my Lakers fans, got a lil gift for ya'll....

shymexx: ^^^Do African countries need aids from any country?

Bear in mind that nothing is free and for every aid(s) you receive, you'll pay back in almost five folds ... undecided
Exactly.

The same phenomenon we see with athletes from poor backgrounds who strike a big contract and then fall back broke within just a few years. Africa does not need any more so-called "aid". It needs to properly manage the vast resources we already have. Please no more enslavement to these cunning foreign countries who are offering us $1 but will end up taking $1000 back in various ways. And if we're going to go into bed with the Chinese- it must be a well-thought out symbiotic relationship that will benefit us in the long run, because we do need to forge as many alliances with world partners as we can.

But alas, if I know my people well some myopic pot-bellied group of senators whose god is their belly will sell out their countries for a fatter wallets.
