The most mentally weak goal keeper in the premiership. De Gea has to be booted out with ignominy. He was the direct cause of both goals. Skills is not enough. You have to have the mind to win.

Not suprised a bit. Same way the idiot wanted to buy Greenland (A territory of Denmark). He had to back off after he was insulted by the Prime minister of Denmark. He then threw his usual baby tantrum by canceling a state visit to Denmark.

Most business men are extremely STUPID and should not be allowed near government. They think short term cash flow and immediate profit while visionary politicians build generation scope wealth and advantages for their people. "Sell Puerto Rico" just because of a natural disaster? . That's a stupid prezident without sense of perspective. Why did he not sell his lovely daughter and kids before they grew up and started making money?. Every body is looking at the slowpoke in the White House and making excuses for him because he is white and calls himself a billionaire. It is a shame.

If this is true, then the originator of that idea must be sacked. There are better things to spend money on. Developing an orbital class rocket requires a great deal of science, money and failures. If the NASDRA wants to get busy, they could develop drones, very small scale guided rockets. Aircraft technology, indigenous avionics, communications. e.t.c. Many little things in the aerospace world are still not obtainable in Nigeria.

You are mixing up rockets and aircraft. The propulsion systems are different, the airframe designs are different. Nigeria Airforce has institutions looking into Airframe designs and some engine work. Rockets are different. Rockets don't breathe air. They carry their own oxidizers.

You can as well conclude that world leaders all over whose citizens died of Covid-19 sent them to early grave.

But when he told people to stop the "black live matters" protest in order not to continue spreading the virus, no one commended him rather they accused him of promoting racism. Now here you are with your deluded theory.
Black lives matter protests, everybody was asked to wear masks. Even looters of shops wore masks. Anybody who did not accepted responsibility.
A President sets good example, does not run his mouth and does not poo poo the effectiveness of PPE in a pandemic regime.
Trump is jerking off the half educated rump of the US electorate and they are filling hospitals and morgue. Hopefully in November there will be no one left to vote for this money miss road trash of a President.

The big mistake of his Presidency was entering office in "angry white middle-aged male protester" mode and getting locked in that lie.
A President is not a protester. You are actually listening to experts, asking questions, reading briefs, crafting policy and leading people. You are taking responsibility.

It is the recoil of a GPMG on a motorbike we are talking about. I like the concept of highly mobile units insurging the insurgents but let the operational procedure be to dismount quickly, set up, lie down splaying your legs and shoot the GPMG. The motorbikes are also good as snipermobiles although most snipers are loners who don't want to be conveyed anywhere

80% of incompetence is at the operational level. If this routine ambush is true, there would be some major or colonel who bleeped up but in Nigeria everyone blames the top of the hierarchy.
I suspect serious over confidence or carelessness by a company commander caused this one if it really happened.

Flight and mission costings are highly generalist and do not take cognisance of local variables and permutations. As a consequence there are HUGE disparities between airforces and in particular the USAF.

What level of staffing support and infrastructure
is required to keep a fighter jet in the air by the USA and by the NAF

For example a NCO can earn including other payments over time, mission specific, depending on speciality, can earn up too $75,000 a year. A mid level senior officer such as Squadron leader can earn up to $150k a year. Now factor all that into aggregate costs including fuel costs, number of man hours and personal deployed, engineering staff, and support, maintenance etc.

Now look at NAF aggregate costs how much is the pay of a NCO, and what is pay of a mid level senior officer such as Squadron leader in the NAF. Consider the level of support staff required to keep a fighter jet in the air in Nigeria.

Now articulate those variables into an aggregate cost per hour, for the USAF and you can see how their costs can rise too $8000 per hour. Now make a projection of our NAF variable costs, deployed personal and articulate those costs into an hourly aggregate for the NAF.

Now ask yourself do you think they will be the same.

An appendicitis operation in Nigeria may not be more than naira 300k ( guess). But it will cost you about $55000 or more in the USA. That's to highlight the price differentials with the two different countries of Nigeria and the USA.

So you can make an informed projection that hourly running costs will be far less than what the over indulgent USAF costs are.

Your rational is perfunctory and not well thought out but very impulsive.

You cannot ignore capital acquisition costs in the equation of cost, it is intrinsic to any cost appraisal.

The A29 is the most over priced military turboprop in the world, when you are paying $40 million ➕ for a turboprop. You can't be talking about running costs which are very spurious at best.

Then you have to consider alternatives and the issue of opportunity cost witt those alternatives. With that you can come to a more balanced appreciation of cost aa well as best value and most effective use of scarce resources.

We will get one or two A29 before the year runs out, hopefully, that's three years later and the rest will not be delivered in completion until 2024. That's really absurd.

The costs of one A29 will get us 35+ Wing Loong II UAV.

Below a YouTube video of a Turkish UAV which is around not as good as the Wing Loong II. To highlight the efficacy for those who have forgotten. Imagine the impact those UAV's will have not in 3,4, 5 years, but in the HERE and NOW giving you 24/7/365 coverage over the area or contention in the NE and even with face recognition.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzB5Vip5Wpc

Good arguments, sound reasoning all destroyed by this bit about Wing Loong. Wing Loongs don't replace the flexibility and accuracy of the A29.

The flight cost differentials between A29 and F16s are template costs. Those differentials carry over whether you are paying your ground crews $1m or $50.0. The differentials are coming from fuel, pre-flight maintenance, compulsory inspections regime in-between flights and OEM support. Some people would also depreciate the capital cost over the life of the aircraft and add those costs on it.

This is where it gets interesting : &$85m F16 to shoot precision missiles on 10 Boko Haram in a technical. The technical is N10m, the guns are stolen or captured, say N5m, the worth of the 10 Boko Haram is say minus $5000.00.
I would take the A29 any day. The systems on it at least in ground attack are the same as F16 Block 50. I can use the same aircraft for border patrol, pipeline inspections, SAR, geo spatial surveys, crime fighting, bandits tracking et. c.
The F16 is a rubbish budget buster. They won't even allow you to use the offensive systems so what's the point?.
Nigeria is also buying JF17s to do the regional security, power projection and strategic stuff. We are buying right.

There are is O level and A level strategies in strategic intelligence management.
O level is to think that the US wants to buy the missile from Turkey to copy the tech or counter it.
A level is to know that they are making 'noise' about what should be secret in order to cover up that they already have the info they want on that missile and are trying to confuse everyone to protect the source OR they have decided not to sell F35 to Turkey and just looking for flimsy excuse to cancel. Turkey knows they cannot sell that missile.

Why did they make this local, provincial, good timing, spoilt, selfish and childish man their President?. That is the question.
They did it out if anger, racism and jealousy against hardworking Asians and Africans who are beating them at their own system. A good system that only works with fairness, inclusiveness and diversity.

Yes he did. He has successfully divided the country.
Most Republican Presidents are fiscally conservative but Trump has piled even more debt on Americans with his tax cuts for the rich.
What about restrictions to H1B Visas, highly skilled talented people now head to main Europe, China and believe it or not.. Turkey.

The US will give way to China and Trump is the instrument to actualize that. Already hundreds of thousands have died from his tepid response to coronavirus.
Did you watch his last campaign rally?. Even by the lowest of standards, his rhetoric was low brow. If you doubt it watch it again. Biden is not even campaigning. Probably does not need to. Trump will talk himself out of office.

No he is not making a nonsensical proposition.

In Monguno there was one MK 3 Vickers MBT which has a fairly modern, fire control system, a laser range finder and it's 105mm gun is stabilised it can shoot on the move.

It's tracked and over the rough terrain it is probably faster than a rickety gun truck, which it can easily run over and squash.

The terrain is Sahel savanna, the Vickers MBT has higher (3 meters) elevation and obvious night and day magnification as well as thermal sights. That means all round spatial situational awareness.

It's fire rate albeit it is manual loaded is about 10-15 rpm. It's range is 5km at 2km you are talking 100% accuracy. It has a coaxial mg as well as a 12.7 mm HMG on the turret.

It's armour will protect from Rpg7's and HMG fire.

Essentially what that means that one Vickers tank has the capacity to take out 20 gun trucks and chase them down, a HE 105mm will turn a gun truck to mince meat.

So if used tactically on the move with right positioning it should be able to take out 10 gun trucks in 10 minutes or less. And clear out any foot soldiers with it's machine guns.

Boko have nothing to contend with the Vickers MBT. Even if they attempted to use a SVBIED it will not be able to get close enough before being blown away.

Using the Monguno situation it should give you in the hands of trained operatives overriding advantage.

And if you are talking Sahel savanna then the MBT wins every time. When you add supporting troops and other armoured assets Boko can not contend.

Falsehood magnified. The NA is actually buying tanks for offensive purposes against highly defended Boko Haram positions. Pls can these stories about shooting 155mm shells at 'technicals' moving fast and winding to evade shells. We have all seen Vickers MBT in action against Boko Haram. They actually captured the tank and left it behind because they could not operate it. They have also captured a number of Sagiae "tank killers" and have fielded them often. How did they capture the tank?. They mobbed it with suicide attacks and presumably climbed aboard in the heat of battle.
Take it from me, sinpers are far more effective against insurgents than MBTs. When they hole up or mass in hundreds with technicals coming in a line along a road, maybe there is the case to be made for an MBT but in a wide level field engagement with shrubs and tall grass, you can't take out technicals fast enough.

Deterrence bro! If tank is used effectively, it can deter terrorists from attacking an area it is deployed in. It's gun can be used to take out bokoharam's guntrucks kilometers away and save lives of soldiers. There are many different ways tanks save lives.

Why do you guys subject us to these kinds of BS? You are posting rubbish and you think you are making a point.

Do you know how tanks work?. How easy are they to use against fast moving insurgents who move very close to your positions.
Have you studied the vegetation and terrain?. You think it is desert?. No it usually is not.
There are sparse forests, 6ft high sahel savanna shrubs, winding roads, hills and valleys.
The enemy has suicide bombers, the enemy holds civilians as human shields. The enemy sometimes disguises as Nigerian Army soldiers just to get close.
To load a tank, fire and reload is at least 10secs, how does that help when the terrorists dismount quickly, hide and start firing RPGs?

There are so many interesting dynamics to fighting insurgents that absurd simplification should never be made.

The Nigerian Army is buying new, ultra modern, high grade hardware but the focus is far more than Boko Haram

It is a valid legal precedent to issue a warrant for Trump or sue US govt.
They killed another country's government official in a foreign country without having declared war.
Very illegal and there will be consequences. Iran has time on its hands, Trump has just till November.

This is why governance is for serious minded folks who consult widely and not for insecure, septuagenarian business men who want to show they are tough all the time

You know the top speed of the A29 and you know the noise a turboprop aircraft makes giving you much more early warning.

Do you think the Boko guys will be waving welcome flags. I don't think they have very accurate and proficient gunners but they could get lucky considering the number of gun trucks with HMG. And that will be a $38 million➕ aircraft turned to rubble.

Hopefully the pilot will not be captured and used for murderous bloody deranged PR.

They are buying A29's for the Afghan Air Force but the USAF uses F35, F16 for CAS even more than the A10.

Where exactly is the US using F35s to chase insurgents?. Pls don't misuse the term CAS. What we are doing against Boko Haram is not what we probably will do against a conventional force like the Chadian army.
As for the US and using F16s against ISIS, there was a time ISIS stupidly became a conventional army. I believe that was one of the few times the US used F16s to counter terrorists but only for the range and maybe flight over contested airspace. A29s are just the right platforms for high tech, cheap and high precision delivery of ordnance against hidden insurgents at the current time.

Abeg why is there so much hype on A29 than JF 17...Is there something I'm not getting or what ..Won't JF 17 bring more tears to BH than A29

A29 is more useful against Boko Haram. Why people think jet combat aircraft are any good against insurgents beats me.
You need slow moving platforms to deliver ordinance accurately against a 'fast' and 'hidden' enemy. You won't see them if you are flying fast or you won't be able to process the data and deliver before you fly out of range to destroy the targets. The US fields A10 Warthogs against insurgents not F35s. They are also buying A29s.

Nigeria's JF17s are officially against Boko Haram but unofficially we know better.
