I think the scared, the insecure, the hateful, the myopic, the not too intelligent, all Trump lovers will be taught a good lesson in November. You cannot fight passive aggressively against the whole world by supporting a crooked misfit in the White House because of your inferiority complexes.

I don't anchor my deductions on another persons irrespective of designation and or assumed knowledge. So whatever the CAS has to say is his opinion not mine.

"The A29 Turboprop Tucano is what we need" according to you. But, why, how or for what reason

It is better to anchor your position with a substantive deduction, rational and or explanation, Unfortunately you give none. After all the time you have spent here l expected more.

The A29 Tucano is stupendously over priced and everything associated with it will be too. My suspicion are knowing the Americans you will only be able to attach compatible munitions, that is American or NATO sourced munitions. That means very expensive. Anything else will not be compatible.

It's a bit like some laptops and how they ensure that universal components will not be compatible and the inherent software in your laptop continously rejects it.

Quite some time ago l went into depth with regards to munitions costings. I used a published MOD official documents accessed under the access public information legislation UK.

With that l was able to make informed projections with regards to costs. My presumption is that the HMG ( 12.7mm) of the A29 will be used quite often as well as the guided rockets which are produced by BA systems.

You seem articulate and informed do a little bit of open source research. Do not be parochial and assumptive open your mind consider, balance and appraise. It will be beneficial to you as a person and increase your capacity. As well as intelligence.

But l remember if I am right you saying to that the NA, could not afford the N2A42 165X30 mm ammunition required for the BTR4. That they pleaded with the NAF who refused to give them any. As a consequence we have cannibalised the BTR4 and stuck on top of it a very rudimentary HMG. Rendering the precision RWS ineffective and obsolete.

The 2A42 ammunition is significantly cheaper by a huge margin than the 12.7mm and 20mm.

How many RPM is the rate of fire of A29 20mm and 12.7mm guns. Below an excerpt from a previous post on this topic.

So when we even get these overpriced A29 turboprop and then fire the 12.7 mm HMG for just 3 minutes it could cost you( UK MOD prices) $58,000.00. Now tell me that's sustainable in the Nigerian context

Now having that thought in mind how much does a near 100% accuracy Chinese sourced ATGM cost that is used by the Wing Loong II UAV. My estimation for the BA-7, Blue arrow ATGM is less than $15k per unit.

Please, you need to stop these amateurish expositions based on wrong premises. The A29 Super Tucanoes are one the most relevant aircraft to internal security architecture that we have ever bought.
Stop these irritating video game fantasy about fielding 200 Wing Loongs that will fire ATGMS at Boko Haram and destroy all of them in a few weeks. It is not even a funny joke.

The man can't just come to terms that his team of security chiefs have failed him.

The Nigerian Armed Forces have not failed.
The Nigeria Police has failed, the DSS has failed and I think to some extent, NSCDC has failed.
The state governors are destabilizing Nigeria with militias. It is not the job of the Nigerian Army to be chasing murderous young men about the country side.
Something that was there foundationally is currently missing and that is community policing, surveillance and early reporting.

That's why it is a security architecture issue

Another problem with Nigeria, people who don't have any business commenting on security are opening their mouths and talking. If you don't know, you shut up.

Buhari's failure is not canning state governors. They are going to Aso Ro k edging loyalty and then they go back and befriend those who kill minority tribes in their states just to keep their people happy.

Anyway, he has opened the vaults finally and sophisticated hardware platforms to combat insecurity are coming in large numbers to alter the order of battle significantly.
Still state governors need to get big painful knocks on the head

You lie.those guys were impressive and could have won them.sevilla would rubbish man u

Copenhagen nearly got three goals in total. All these attempts were possible just because of a tired out ManU mid field. When Matic came things started changing. Rashford and Martial were also mentally out, wasting almost seven chances in total. Ole should have played more of Ighalo. I don't think Sevilla stands a chance against ManU.
This ManU team creates chances out of nothing and they have all the finishers and penalty grabbers they need. Manu will get into your 18. When they do, a goal is 50 possible. That is a big statistic, 50%

What we do know is that he punishes some lands by first giving them bad rulers.

Boko Haram controlling parts of Baga?. How completely redundant this information. Many gangs are controlling many parts of many cities the world over. Is that really control?.
We know Boko Haram can sneak in to commit havoc and melt away but does that really equal 'control'?.
I don't know.
I think Boko Haram sympathizers are many within the NA and feed some cells within the group with information. Based on the info, those cells can organize to carry out actions to awe weak minded people.
All these don't equal control.

This is just at the level of urban crime as far as I am concerned. Boko Haram has been defeated long ago. Many cells still exist under the command of various commanders and they will continue to smmugle themselves to a few urban areas and embarrass the govt.
This Baga is under the control of the FG. The Nigerian Army is in control of territory hundreds of km beyond and before Baga on all sides.
There is no major threat to the Nigerian state from Boko Haram.

Boko Haram cells have dispersed themselves wide across Northern Nigeria and they will cause problems because all they have is their arms. With arms they have power, they can't get food and money.

It's too early to tell. To summarise this report, it is better to put it this way; "SU30MKI is an extraordinarily bad aircraft for use in any modern conflict".
Eventually, in the next few years the aircraft's equivalent would be massively deployed by low income 3rd World nations. It's long range, large weapon load and dogfighting abilities being very attractive.
Those characteristics don't mean shit in a world of AESA radars, AI and smart 'everthing'.

Most IQs are low in Nigeria and the educational system does not teach critical thinking skills, that is why some people will write as if Boko Haram has won.
To even suggest that PMCs should come and fight the war. PMCs from where?. That's a lot of ignorance.
The PMC will come and employ 6000 half trained CJTF guys, will not achieve anything and the war will attract many other actors.

We should learn to think more brutally.
There are 'facts'. And the there is a lot of 'noise' coming out of a lot information sources with different objectives.
For people who think like women, everything Boko Haram does is winning, like running into a small town, killing civilians and running back. For a disciplined mind, the question will be "why are they trying to distract the Army in this instance?".
What is the hidden objective of this seeming stupidity.

Another fact is Boko Haram is not fighting for territory. They will always be beaten back or retreat from every seeming military objective, why?.
The answer is that they are not fighting land, they are fighting for the hearts and minds Nigerians as in they want to weaken the hearts and minds of Nigerians so the resolution to root them out will wane.
Boko Haram also has millions of supporters on the ground and significant secret backers in the Nigerian military. This is a cause for concern and should be managed by normal counter intelligence and psy-ops processes. It is not something to despair over. IPOB also has a lot of supporters. ND militants have a lot of supporters.
Every country in the world has at least 25% of its people in active hatred of their own country.
It is a concern but it is the rule rather than an exception. It can be managed.
What the Nigerian military should is continue Super Camp based domination of the area and press more technology and platforms into the theater so that a lot of boys can do their rotation more frequently.

There can be no grand final offensive against Boko Haram but a series of decapitating strikes against ISWAP and Shekau boys are possible.
Hopefully enough of these major strikes will weaken the sect and eliminate them as a significant military threat but the ideology can not be destroyed.

Amateurish idea, Armies going into business. It has been tried everywhere, that's what makes it amateurish. Hitler's SŠ had companies. The Nigerian Army is running quite a few commercial entities as we speak. All these just distract and can corrupt the Generals. The NA can make billions from their drug manufacturing labs, the armored vehicle factories can generate billions. Some of the best working ventilators in Nigeria for COVID19 are made by NAF.
