hedonistic:I am happy to see a like-minded man. I also blame men for the attitude women exhibit towards men. Lots of guys make some women feel like they are doing a man a favor by talking to him or exchanging numbers with him. The lust in many guys has now conditioned lots of ladies to think that they are doing men favor by having sex with them. While I respect women, I know my worth. So I can never cower before any woman for sex or intimacy. |
doskie:You know, of the things that make the military to function excellently is discipline and reverence for your superiors. Now, if commissioned officers i.e, Majors, Colonels, Major Generals, etc, are allowed to marry non-commissioned officers i.e., corporals, sergeants, etc, it will surely affect efficiency and discipline. In the military, commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers do not belong to the same class. One can call it legal segregation. |
wahles:In the military, they have two cadres, the commissioned officers cadre and the non-commissioned officers cadre. What isn't allowed is relationship between the commissioned officers and non- commissioned officers. But in the case of these two people, they both belong to the non-commissioned officers cadre, so they can date and marry each other. |
martineverest:I am not one of those who give blind allegiance to people in the name of religion. However, I would like to point out that Apostle Suleiman never predicted Jonathan's victory. The story that he predicted Jonathan's victory is as true as the lie that Buhari promised to make the Naira equal to one dollar. Then, even if he did predict Jonathan's victory and Jonathan went on to loose, I still don't understand how that automatically means Stephanie Otobo's accusations are true |
MathsChic:Yes, this is what you actually wrote in the post I responded to: "allegations of sexual abuse by this pastor continues to pile". Then in your reply to me, I noticed that you had changed it from "sexual abuse" to "abuse". I am not trying to criticize the change, I am only trying to let you know what I was responding to |
RIP Sholape
|
MathsChic:You changed it later. My reaction was to your first post where you said that "allegations of sexual abuse by this pastor continues to pile" |
chuckjoshua:Sir, I know him very well. His name is Kalu and he is from Abia state (even, the "Lieutenant" is not his real forename). He is an aircraft technician in the Airforce. See his name on his overall in this photo

MathsChic:Giving someone something that can destroy pregnancy to drink is bad and evil, and I am not disputing that. But calling the act of giving someone liquid to drink "sexual abuse" or "sexual assault" is confusing to me. |
MathsChic:Ma, nobody has accused Mr Suleiman of sexual abuse or sexual assault. It's clear from Stephanie Otobo's statements that what they had was mutual consent. Yes, there a lots of accusations levelled against him, but none of them is sexual abuse or sexual assault as it was in the case of Cosby. |
YoungBlackRico:He didn’t shoot himself |
Unimaginable123:He didn’t kill himself at all. He has been arrested and taken into custody. He is undergoing a test to check his mental state. |
kllinxman:Who will do something! That's a strange question. That's a blatant murder case and he has been arrested by the Air Police. |
Pictured together with the girl he murdered

He was her course mate and Fiance. His name is Lieutenant Kalu. He has been arrested by the Nigerian Airforce Air Police. His blood sample has been taken to check his mental fitness

Earth2Metahuman:Sahara Reporters was the first to report this. In fact, they were the one that did the investigation and posted it. I guess StainlessH created this thread after seeing the Sahara Reporters story. I saw this on Sahara Reporters website before dawn today http://saharareporters.com/2017/03/11/apostle-johnson-suleman-bought-mercedes-benz-450-gl-nollywood-actress-daniella-okeke |
Earth2Metahuman:I thought he got her arrested for blackmail |
AntiWailer:Yes, he did sue her for blackmail. As regards her own accusation, I was referring to the 'demand for N500,000,000 as damages for the breach of promise' to marry her. Attached below is the document. According to the document, they claimed that breach of promise to marry is actionable in the law, and they gave Suleiman 7 days to meet their demand.

ojimbo:Hmmmnn, complicated |
ojimbo:Yes, I concur that an Apostle shouldn't do what the lady accused him of doing. However, if the girl truly tried to obtain money from him in order not to open up, sir, that's blackmail and blackmail is a crime. |
baylord101:Please, would you mind telling us where it is in our law that it is a crime to change your mind after promising someone marriage. I actually haven't heard of that before. I would appreciate it if you point to the law that says that. I am not talking of a situation where you used it to obtain money from the person you promised marrige. That's clearly a crime. I am talking about just changing your mind after a promise. |
AntiWailer:You have a point |
AntiWailer:Okay. I also agree that the things she accused Mr Suleiman of doing are unchristian. I am just baffled that she is suing him for what she called a breach of promise to marry her. Among all the things she accused the Apostle of doing, I am emphasizing the "breach of promise of marriage" accusation because she said at the beginning of her press conference and in the charge from Keyamo Chambers against Mr Suleiman, that she was suing him for breach of promise of marriage. It baffled me. |
AnotherAlien:Yeah, that's exacty why I have been baffled. While I agree that it's unchristian to do some of the things the girl accused Apostle Suleiman of doing, I don’t see anything criminal in this. |
Rockyrascal:My point is that even if he did promise her, is it a crime to change his mind? I asked because she said that she is suing him for breaching a promise to marry her. If he truly promised to marry her, and then changed his mind, is that a crime? |
maxti:Please explain, I asked because it's an issue I don’t know much about. You said that the law of the land is clear on this. How'd you mean? Is it that the law says you must marry someone you promised marriage? |
Among all the accusations Miss Stephanie Otobo has levelled against Apostle Suleiman, one of them has incessantly baffled me. I am not posting this to defend Mr Suleiman. I am only curious about what is crime in Nigeria. Miss Otobo said that she is suing Apostle Suleiman for what she called "breach of promise of marriage." Is it really a crime in Nigeria to change your mind after promising someone marriage? In the letter written by Keyamo Chambers to Mr Suleiman, they claimed that breach of promise of marriage is actionable in law, and they gave the Apostle 7 days to meet their demand for N500,000,000 as damages. I know that many people have been arrested for similar accusations, but that's because those promises were made with an intention to defraud the person that was promised marriage. For example, I recently heard that a lady reported to the police that a man promised her marriage, and then collected over a million Naira from her. Now, it's clear that the man had an intention to defraud the woman of her hard earned money by promising her marriage. That's crime. But what about if you tell someone "I'll marry you," (without using the promise as a bait to obtain money from the person), and you later decide not to marry the person again. Is that a crime? Is there any law in Nigeria that says you must marry someone after promising him or her marriage? In the Stephanie Otobo vs Apostle Suleiman case, it's the person that was purportedly promised marrige that was even getting money from the 'promiser', not that the Apostle used the promise to get money from the lady he allegedly promised marriage. Lawyers in the house, please educate us on this. If I promise a woman that I will marry her, is there any law that says I must do that?
|
Earth2Metahuman:Arrest for what? I am not saying this to defend Mr Suleiman. My point is that even if all the things the girl said are true, that only means the man is not a real man of God. But I haven't seen anything to warrant his arrest. Though it's bad to give church offering to a prostitute, that's not a crime. Though I agree that it's very bad to do those things. |
Sharming95:It's not charm. I was born and brought up in the North, so I know the situation there. The high rate of illiteracy in that region makes them to give cult support to any leader who is an Hausa-Fulani Muslim. No matter the level of poverty among them and the level of suffering, they still prefer a Mohammed, a Jubril, an Ibrahim, a Garba, etc, to a brilliant Christian from the South who will make life better for them and govern better. As a result of the acute illiteracy and ignorance in that region, they give allegience and make decisions based on ethno-religious consideration. I didn't say this because I am anti-Buhari, I just decided to say it as it is. |
overhypedsteve:It's highly effective, but not the most effect rifle ever made |
AntiWailer:Please, would you mind uploading the video of where the 'pussy grabber in America' claimed that the release of the access Hollywood tape was a fight against the church? |
ifyalways:So, people now carry foodstuff to Dubai? |
