ChangeIsCostant:I concur that we should never mistreat anyone because we don't know where God is taking them to. However, that first picture is misleading. Osibanjo never worked under Fashola when Fashola was governor. Osibanjo worked under Tinubu as attorney general of Lagos state. After Tinubu's administration, Osibanjo became a private citizen. He never served under Fashola. That photo was just a picture of a meeting between then Governor Fashola and private citizen Osibanjo. Fashola couldn't have been dishing out instructions to Osibanjo because Osibanjo was not working under him. |
amyzon:Hello, do you still need a professional pond constructor? |
soberdrunk:You are only talking like this now because we now know that they are not father and son. There are some cases like that where there's no modicum of similarities between the father and son, but the man is really the father. |
soberdrunk:No wasn't dull. You are just talking like this because you are unaware of the level surreptitious monitoring that's going on. If he laundered or wired the money, he'd be caught. Things are no longer as they were before. So, most of those criminals in government have resorted to cash transactions. This his case is just one out of many. |
dukie25:Sir, stop dreaming |
ikp120:You made a mistake, and you are not the only one making the mistake. I have seen lots of people make the same mistake. No court has upturned the ban. The court injunction you referred to only stopped the arrest of citizens of the countries that were banned but already have US visas and entered the US before the Trump ban. Here's what happened. There are some citizens of those countries that Trump banned who already got valid visas before the ban and had entered the US prior to the ban. But as soon as Trump signed the order, immigration officials suddenly began rounding up some of those who were already in the US with valid visa. This was what enraged the ACLU and they went to court. So in a nutshell, the court didn't upturn the ban completely. What the court stopped was the detention and forceful deportation of those who have been in the US prior to the signing of the executive order. |
ojimbo:Even your tone of speech speaks volume of your level of knowledge and incivility |
ojimbo:Why are you trying to console yourself by branding Donald Trump as Adolf Hitler, when you know in your heart of heart that he is not |

queencalipso:RSM and CSM are not ranks but appointments. A lot of people confuse appointments with ranks. |
masonkz:No, the law was suspended in relation to the public sector only, and not for organisations like churches and mosques. Churches even quietly challenged the regulation at a high court, but they lost the case, hence the compliance. |
GoggleB:Its English name is Latch |
MAXIMAL123:It was funny to me too lol |
kennygee:Now I understand where you got such blatant lie from. Anyway, next time, be careful what you believe from people. Talking about WhatsApp group, there are different kinds of false rumours some people spread on such platforms. Of course, I know that some are veracious, however, there are some that are fake and mendacious. So you need to be very careful with what you believe and help spread. One needs to be smart, intelligent and filled with the spirit of discernment to know how to handle some malicious information being spread on some WhatsApp group |
shaddoww:My brother, please do not mind those disemminating blatantly false information. In as much as we should defend the body of Christ, there's no need doing that by lying. No such law has been passed and it can never happen. They can't try it. If such a law was passed, you would have heard it yourself in the news, not from a poster on Nairaland. |

kennygee:You said a law that was passed, not a secret fiat from government. Would you mind telling us the day, time, year, etc, when the law was passed? It will also be helpful if you tell us the sponsor of the bill, the title of the bill, and when the president assented to it. Waiting. |
kennygee:Hmmm, I fear you o. Where did you get this from? " A law that was just passed in the National Assembly that a GO must not serve more than 20 years." Are you talking about Nigeria or the National Assembly in another country that I have never heard of. "This law affects other pastors like Pastor Kumuyi, and Oyedepo." Hmmm, this your assertion is so puzzling to me. Anyway, there's no any law passed by the National Assembly that prohibits any church leader from serving beyond 20 years, and no enacted law affects Pastor Kumuyi or Bishop Oyedepo. Please ma, get your facts right next time before saying some things. In as much as we should defend the body of Christ, there's no need doing that by disemminating blatantly false information to the public. |

The President of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh has retracted concession - a week after conceding defeat. President Jammeh, who has ruled Gambia with an iron grip since seizing power in a 1994 military coup, suffered a shocking loss on December 2, after running for his fifth term in office. Jammeh had earlier accepted defeat and congratulated Adama Barrow on his victory in an address broadcast by Gambian state television. But he now totally rejects the results and has annuled them. "I announce to you, Gambians, my total rejection of the election results and thereby annulling the elections in its entirety," he said in a televised speech Friday. "We will go back to the polls because I want to make sure that every Gambian has voted under an independent electoral commission that is independent, neutral and free from foreign influence." Jammeh had been expected to concede power to his opponent Adama Barrow, with the country's electoral commission announcing last week that the president would do so. Source: CNN |
Cuteamigo1:That's not exactly what they said. Though lots of people and the media said it would cost the New York Police a Million Dollar a day to protect Trump if he travels frequently to New York as president |
ThePortlander:President-elect Trump never said he'd "spend less time at the White house, and more time at his apartment (Trump Tower), because he feels more comfortable there." What he said was that he would live in the White house but Melania will stay back at Trump Tower in New York for his first one year because they want their son, Barron to graduate from Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York. He still has about a year to finish from there. |
