PropertiesRe: Building A 5 Bedroom Duplex In Ebonyi State by jites(m):
spyder880: I designed this BQ to be just two rooms, each with an in-built toilet/bath. They both measure about 12ftX10ft each.
Oga Spyder is it safe to say then that its 2 self contained rooms, that is 2 rooms each with an inbuilt toilet and bath. Because i initially thought it was a sitting room, a bedroom and the toilet and bathroom.

spyder880: The plan is to keep the space where the boy is sitting open (without walls) as the place will serve as a car shed. If there are walls at that point which is very close to the main building, part of the main building will be obscured.

The car shed will have pillars supporting it at the left, and the same roof will cover the car shed with the rest of the BQ.
@ Spyder, nicely done, now i understand, very nice idea especially because of the proximity of both structure, so the car shed will still create an illusion of space as there would not be a solid structure in place for the car shed.

spyder880: it continued to grow
Oga Spyder, can i assume that where the little gentleman is sitting so is going to be the car park, and is there any particular reason why the block for side the little boy is sitting so hasn't started yet. Abi they dont want to disturbe the boy by asking him to move lol lol
PoliticsRe: This Leaf Is Nigeria by jites(m): 5:20pm On Nov 16, 2012
spyder880: I sat down for so long in a place this afternoon in a building site somewhere in Nigeria, and I was thinking hard about this country and the problems we have as a people. My eyes were roving around my surroundings and right there at my side was this leaf.

This leaf must have been very fresh and healthy some few days back, till some canker-worms invaded it and started to plunder its natural resources, very sad, the leaf is helpless. These caterpillars remind me of Nigerian politicians and the ruling class, who will save this green leaf cry
@ Spyder, very true and its so sad, however, if you look very closely you will see some small fresh GREEN shoot comming up. The "caterpillars" need to be prevented from getting to the fresh new buds. How do we go about stopping them? to be honest i dont know but i think they will ask us through election to help move their sorry arse unto the new bud so they can plunder it again like they did the big one. We need to wise up, NIGERIANS, don sale your votes for a few thousand naira because you need to eat today, whatabout tommorow. On the other hand even if you dont give them your vote it looks like they will still get in through mago mago, wuro wuro and rigging. I have a friend whose brother got elected into some office and they were all jubilating and having a party, i then asked, are you guys happy because he is now in and will sort out the problems, the answer was PROBLEM KE? now we can chop proper money, drive jeep everywhere, get contracts and give contracts to close friends etc. It sad and to be honest i see no quick solution to this problem, the only thing i can say is if you can tryand make your way and be prosperous and give your family a decent life without depending on the government or the country. GOD BLESS NIGERIA and yes after every discussion we have on Nigeria lets try and end it with GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!, thats what they do in AMERICA ABI? GOD BLESS NIGERIA!!!
PropertiesRe: Building A 5 Bedroom Duplex In Ebonyi State by jites(m): 1:13am On Nov 15, 2012
spyder880: Yes, space constraints made it so close, but am going to do something about that closeness. I will use pillars for those nearest points not walls, it will be open at that end as I plan to make it a car shed. The sit-out is always open and I am planning to extend the height of the sit-out upwards from half way to roofing level.
Thanks for the explanation, its like magics in my head right now,so i will just wait for the actualization of what you just described so then it will be become more clearer to me. Oga Spyder your blocks are so fine the molder is doing a fab job

spyder880: All roads lead to this site as we start work here. My workers are moving in as I type this and I will continue bringing in more materials today. More cement will come in today as we now have enough trips of sand for the blocks, picture updates will start today or tomorrow.
I am liking this, let me get my notes ready for lectures. May God grant you speed and grace IJN

seun70: Hi all,
I have finally decided to embark on this poultry farming business after reading/watching/researching for about two years.

I would not mind any suggestion from the experienced poultry farmers on nairaland. Although, I have three plots of land (just bought somewhere in Otta) I intend to use. This does not mean I am a fan of 'hot-water' syndrome. I only intend to start with 1000 layers.
Clearing of the site was done today and construction of the fence would (by God's grace) commence tomorrow.

Suggestions, suggestions, suggestions would be appreciated.

NOTE: I am spending 1.5m on fencing.

Thanks in advance guys........
seun70: @fnk
@Seun I am also interested in embarking on the poultry business, like you i am still studing and researching and hope to start with 1000 next year. is it possible to post your pictures up here so we can learn and advise. i have a viability report for a 1000 birds if you are interested drop me a line and lets share thoughts. regards
I would like to have a copy of the report/info on poultry pls.
My email addy is: seun70@hotmail.com

Thanks

ARES: u made me laugh too, that daft post was epic,
@ ARES, all i am trying to say is that we all come here to express our opinion, nobody is trying to impose their opinion on anyone, but Please, i see you called me son in one of your post so i am going to assume you are older, i am a nigerian and brought up to respect my elders i will never ever trade insult with you Mr ARES. People's opinion are sometime shaped by their experiences. i for example was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, i was poorer than poor, i was evicted from my family home, with my father, mum and siblings. i went to church and to be honest i went to winners chapel, i was taught holiness, wisdom, respect, eternity, evrything about how to lead a successful life, not one day did anyone force any money out of my pocket, besides i didnt have any money then anyway. i was taught that if i engage in dishonest business GOD is not interested in my money. i go there to serve God not to enrich anyone, and besides the amount of highly inteligient people that goes to church suggest that its not some gullible people that go to church. I know for a fact that when Bishop Oyedepo started church with just 8 people way back he had already started saying " I CAN NOT BE POOR" let me point out at this juncture that there are pastors out there who dishonest and try and use the name of GOD to cajure people to bring all their money to church and give to them. I give offering in church, if the church like they buy plane, or anything with it but i know that when i give, i give in good faith to GOD and to be honest with you GOD blesses me. AS i said before i was once poor, i read books, listen to godly messages even pastor these day give motivational messages and not just that the also teach practical way of living. i was taught not to live above my means in Church, i was taught business strategy in Church. Gone are the days when church is only about repent and you wiull go to heaven cos i have repented and i am heading to heaven but before heaven comes or before i go there i need to know how to live here on earth and live well, i wont stand therr and let some unbeliver employ me and make me do things that i dont like, by the way its not bad to be employed by unbeliver o before i get crucified again. In a nut shell i was once poor, i learnt the principe of living well coupled with godly living, even the bible say in Psalm, blessed is the ritheuos man and his house will be filled with GOLD. ONE passage from the bible i learnt from a lot was when a widower, whose husband had owned people money cried to the man of God and said Man of God, you know that before your servant died he feared the Lord, he was godly BUT Guess what he was poor and indebted and now the creditor had come to collect her son as payment for the debt the prohet was owing, so you see you can be godly and be poor, yes you would go to heaven but boy you suffer well well on earth living from hand to mouth. anyway to cut a long story short Elijah said to the women use the oil in your house to start a business from the preceed pay your debt and live off the rest, thats is in essence saying go and begin do business other the creditor will collecvt your son. the woman became an oil dealer, paid off her debt and i bet lived more comfortable than her husband afterward, Elijah did not say ok how much you dey owe let me help you pay. I was never given a penny in winners chapel but the word i was taught has catapulted me to where i nor believe my eyes, i dey give offering oh and my money has never decreased because of offering God gives me ideas and when i put them to work the result is abundance. to end this is just my experience and somebody wen no dey go church or give offering can also have monmey and business and be wealthy as we all know. Good night all and GOD BLESS NIGERIA

ARES: Just daft? The guy is a world class dumb asss
@ ARES, you make me laugh, Its not nice when you start abusing someone for giving their opinion on a topic, you dont feed me and you don't know me. I dont know you and i never insulted you so lets be respectful. you dont have to agree with my opinion but that does not give you the right to insult me.

When Jesus was on the earth, he did not ride tokunbo, he asked the disciple to go to some town ( for argument sake we call it America) and that would see a ride ( for argument sake let call it a private jet) that no body has ever sat on 9 for aurgument sake again we call it a new custom built private jet) i say private because he was the only one who sat on that ride, and guess what he did not evenpay the owner any money and what were the followers doing walking along singing hossana blessed is he who comes inthe name of the LORD. even throwing their tithe and offering or sorry i meant garments and palm tree branches on the floor for the achabe ride to ride pass it.
And when Jesus die sef, the army officers, major generals like his suits or cloth that they wanted to share it but they find out say na special hand made wen they cant divide, what did they do they decided to cast lot on who go collect the designer suit when they never see before

Fhemmmy: You mean there is something that you dont know about property? That is not possible oh
When you stop learning you start dieing, being on this property thread for a while now searching for information and i have seen a lot of questions being asked like will a plot of land big enough for this or that, is there room enough for this or that and i came to a conclusion that there might not be room enough for a lot of things but THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. Continous improvement is the key, so our great teacher OGA SPYDER is a man of continous improvement always seeking more better and efficient ways of delivering quality project for his client. carry go OGA SPYDER

Fhemmmy: Chairman . . . I super hail oh.
The date you are referring to is the ETA for the vessel to get to Spain and not Lagos, from Spain, the container will start another journey but on another vessel to Lagos, this our tracking with container and not vessel.
See the attached updated information for reference.
@ Fhemmmy, Ehen, i for wonder o, because i know that the last time we spoke we were looking at early December, Thats fine then i got my tracking info wrong. I think its still going to be early December before everything will be ready if the vessel arrive Nigeria on the 24/11. However, still enquire from your man in Naija how much the registration and the tint permit will cost and what and what he would need for the registration.

The mat (basket) is done with only 12mm rods. We don't like using 10mm on our decking jobs.
Finally, the teacher has entered the classroom, oya everybody make una shhhhhh for this woman and hardwork matter. Spyder, any development with the BQ german floor? i know you said you were going to use the same workers (take note i said WORKERS not women lol) to also do the german floor.
