Just30: you can get that info from the registrar General Department of Ghana
Just go to their website and request for information on any registered company in Ghana https://rgd.gov.gh/ Bro Im not the one claiming AngloGold and Goldfields are Ghanaian companies, however I know for the fact that they are SAn..........the onus is on you to prove they are Ghanaian not me |

Just30: so IMF is moving their HQ to China does it make IMF a Chinese company.
some of you really make stupid arguments..
Do you know what a company incorporation is? Even in commons law, you are thought that a company is a separate legal entity.
dont be so desperate, it just make you dumber.
No one is talk the ownership structure of the company but the legal establishment of the company.
Tullow Ghana is a legal entity in Ghana established according to Ghanaian company law Likewise ENI Ghana, AngloGold Ashanti, Ashanti Goldfields, MTN Ghana If you said MTN Ghana then I wouldn't have said anything however AngloGold and Goldfields are not registered companies in Ghana, they are just listed on the GSE as far as I know! |

Just30: corporate law is way deeper than what you will do in accounting and auditing
Majority shareholding gives you more ownership of a company but not outright ownership. I studied Bcom Chartered Accounting, I had Corporate Law for 2 years! Majority shareholding gives you majority ownership not more ownership, and when you are the majority owner then you are the outright owner! |

Your last premise is from a brain who knows next to nothing. Arguing blindly even when you are corrected Bro i don't need a comeback........Anglogold,Goldfields and MTN are South African companies not Ghanaian companies!! And how am i illiterate when you are the one that can't spell? |

Just30: even a 1% shareholding makes you and owner.
anyway, that was not what we were talking about.
We were talking about A company by establishment as a legal entity in a Geographic setting.
You dont know corporate law
Neither do you know company law Corporate law is an umbrella term, it includes company law as well..........which obviously was also part of my syllabus. And if you knew company law you would know that when an entity/person purchases more than 50%(majority stake) in company it makes that entity the majority/outright owner/shareholder. |

there is nothing like an outright owner of cooperate institution by law even even if you owned 100 percent stake of the business. Even promoter( who brings idea and cash for the business set up) are not legally important unless there is a must to unveil the cooperate body . because by law , company is not equally as human or nation. A cooperate body is a legal entity on its own. You can't even spell corporate properly yet you want to claim I don't know anything in the field? And yes when you acquire the majority stake in a business then you are the outright owner.....as simple as that! |

Just30: Everyone is an owner by shareholding
You said outright owner and i said, even with majority shareholdings you dont become an outright owner. When you by the majority stake(more than 50%) in the company you become the owner..........its very simple mate |

You have degrees in Accounting but not law Corporate Law was included in my syllabus And yes you are the owner when you have more than 50% OWNERSHIP or shares |

by law , cooperate institution has no owner even if you owns 100 percent stake. but technically , if you hold 1 percent shares of a 100 million dollar business , you are equally an owner. you need to go learn how decision making body of an organization works. No you are the outright owner if you own a majority share, in other words more than 50%. I have two degrees in accounting/Auditing........I know more about corporate law than you |

vaxx: shut up. Anglogold just recently close is South Africa operation . shares determined who owns or not. stop your stupid bragging right . for the fact that Ghanaian has shares right in the company makes them an equal owner of the company as well. Equal ownership would mean a Ghanaians must at least own 50% in the parent company which it doesn't.............I can also buy shares in any Accra listed Ghanaian company, would that make it a SAn company just because i bought shares in it? Also AngloGold can stop all its operations in SA however its still a South African company |

rvp20182: 40% owned by 30,000 in a country with probably 10-20m peasant farmers is not acceptable. Ramaphosa is the last wall ANC has - after which - Malema will get a listening from desperate South Africa and his crazy ideas will get public acceptance. If Ramaphose fails - Malema will spring up - because ANC have thrown in their whole - Mandela, Mbeki, Zuma and Ramaphose - different talents - and not working.
As regard the true story about my daughter. The lady teacher is a Zimbwabwean. Expelled by farm invasion. Now lives in South Africa and work in Kenya. She went back due to COVID - and yesterday she was not online - I ask my daughter - she said the teacher had power issues.
Re-check your ANC propaganda on load shedding again.
As for Kenya - we are doing well - about 15yrs ago - we only had 12% of our people connected - a mere 350,000 household - now we are approaching 8M households in a country with 11m households. We are about 60% ( Census 2019) - although gov thought we were at 75% - so we have some way to go - we will get there - before you resolve ESKOM Issues. Again you are sucking things out your thumb, in total around 3 million people(Black and White) are involved in subsistence and commercial farming in total in South Africa, so I dont know were you get your "10-20m peasant farmers" Just because she had power issues doesn't mean it was a Black out as you claimed. Only Zuma didn't work......Mandela took a broken Economy and a divided nation and mended it, Mbeki further advanced the economy and had an average growth of 4% during his 8 year Term.........Then Zuma happened...........And now we probably have the best President in terms of credentials of the lot.............There are even talks that the SA economy can grow around 4% in 2021 thanks to the reforms proposed by Mboweni and Ramaphosa. Eskom is already being resolved, firstly Government has now allowed IPPs to sell electricity directly to municipalities, hence meaning they don't have to rely on Eskom anymore secondly Eskom is being partially privatized as well which is another positive. Concentrate on getting your country up to Ghana's level before talking about South Africa |

rvp20182: I do understand and sympathize with Boers (somewhat) having been here since the 15-17th century - you can claim to be genuinely white African.
1. That 30,000 white African boer farmers owns 90% of Arable land in South Africa. The Boer farmer just sticks out like a sore thumb and become a rallying call for Malema's - who will always think African independence in South Africa was in vain without land ownership reverting back...see Zimbabwe, kenya, etc
2.The Boers only voted to end Apartheid because the world said NO. The sanctions became too much. The economy tanked and the shame so forbearing. The Boer finally had to give in to black majority rule
3.Anyway, let me tell you what will happen in the near future. South Africa is entering the Latin America phase - the middle-class trap (only Chile managed to escape to developed world while rest are stuck in middle of nowhere) - and that basically mean the economy will remain stagnant - unable to move forward - and Boers land and mine ownership will become the "leftist" struggle for economic equality in the midst of world's most unequal wealth distribution.
4. Malema will improve his ranking from 8% to something like 33% - enough to form a gov. In a 3-4 party system - Malema can win power within a decade - especially if things continue the way they are - 1 or -1% - breeding crime, unemployment, and folks will get tired of ANC.
5.Heck, my kid's teacher who went back to South Africa - was not available yesterday for an online lesson. The reason power blackout. That doesn't happen even in Kenya. 1. Wrong, according to the land Audit white farmers own about 70% of Private farm land in total whites own about 40% of the arable land, Government owns 24% and Black people own around 36%. 2. The only fact that matters is that over 60% of White people voted yes to abolish apartheid in 92. 3. Nice opinion mate but seeing the economic reforms currently taking place under Ramaphosa I'm very upbeat about our future 4. The EFF will reach its peak at about 15%. Also infighting and the fact that the ANC actually has a competent President again has in fact hurt their approval rating!! 5. Maybe your teachers kid forgot to pay her bills as there has been no loadshedding in the last couple of months and certainly not within the lockdown period...... P.S South Africa provides electricity to over 90% of its population..... If it only had to provide for 60% of the population like Kenya does then there would've been no loadshedding. |

rvp20182: The same way you conceded to a majority democratic black rule is the same way you will concede to Africans taking their land back. The Arabs were here before you - In Kenya - the were here as early as 10th century - and they avoid land. Nothing is as emotional as land. You need to transition into other sectors of the economy. But if you think you have more legitimate claim to land than black south africa - tough luck. You're are building Malemas.
The Europeans owning land outside Europe had to literally exterminate the locals. You failed. Bail out early enough before a Malema is popularly elected. White people voted to end apartheid they did not concede to black rule. As I said, go look at the history of the Boer people, last time someone tried to drive them from their land they got the hiding of their life. Also there are only 30 000 white farmers, that's roughly 0.7% of the white population thus your statement that white people must move in to other sectors has already happened. The Boer people are not the Rhodesians or the Arabs, you ain't simply going to take their land(they paid for) without paying....... As I've said before I fully support land redistribution when it's done transparently and through willing buyer willing seller. Also the Eff only has around 8% support in SA, they ain't winning any election any time soon. |
