GeneralDae: Obasanjo was great at what he was great at and very terrible at what he was terrible at. @ the bolded, if you mean Atiku, I'll say Buhari to me is better than an Atiku. Atiku is no good. Atiku is big on privatisation, and privatisation of everything is not the way to go. Also, Atiku has a case of corruption from the U.S pending against him.
just reading this statement without knowing anything about him I'd pick Atiku!!
Covert1: The NN has mastered the skill set for sea borne Helicopter Operations. Right now in sub-saharan Africa the Nigerian Navy leads.
Btw only a few of us here actually know to different degrees anything about the Military in general and also in individual terms varying weapons manufacturer, use & specialization. The rest are just copy & past video game fans.
Imagine someone or deluded group of people coming on here posting what they know themselves doesn't exist in their arsenal or at best its inactive and moribund and a non-entity with a Nigerian toga has the temerity to condescend to me absenting the agent provocateurs. Some of these kids here no dey fear really. One day hand go catch una. Watch!
@covert1.... Don't let the other guys get you down bru.... A lot of guys including my self enjoy your posts and we enjoy the banter it will be great if you start being more active again like the good ol days!!
rvp2018: We are not talking now- we are talking the future. Chinese cities 30yrs ago where shi.tholes - now!!. Nairobi is already the top city in Africa by Expat.
What QOL are you talking about...are you going to rank EIU (economist) above everything else.
10yrs from now - Nairobi will be untouchable in Africa - maybe Cairo will have something to say.
I'm talking about Mercers QOL rankings.... Secondly Gauteng alone spends more on infrastructure than your entire country......in what world can Nairobi catch up to any SAn city when you spend six times less on infrastructure and have a 11% of GDP infrastructure gap?
rvp2018: Kenya as whole has long way to get to South Africa level - Nairobi as a city - NOPE. This is very real - done by the 2nd biggest real estate company in the world
agggg please not this "most dynamic" kak again just look at the cities mentioned.... 90% including Nairobi are literal sh1tholes!!
Now tell me where does Nairobi rank on an index that really matters... Like QOL?
rvp2018: Very much doubt - right now it's Joburg, Capetown, Pretoria and Durban - which are in Nairobi level - but Nairobi will leapfrog them - because Nairobi is growing in all parameters - and at much faster rate.
how?.... We spend six times more on infrastructure than Kenya..... Even though our infrastructure gap is less than 1% of GDP....... Kenya has a 11% infrastructure gap..... But you think you are catching up??
rvp2018: Once again I'd like to remind you that Nairobi is 4th world most dynamic city. 10 more of years of construction - and no sub-sahara city will come close.
Covert1: I was going to add that but refrained because I correctly anticipated you'd go there. The AH-1Z Viper will be to Nigeria what the KA-52 is to the Russians at the least in comparable terms.
what's is better? Because you said the AH-1Z is the best in the world.. Did you not?
Covert1: There are no old days here. It's over. Nigeria won the Arms Race. South Africa lost. Terms of surrender is reached. It's over. We even went as far as adding bragging rights of outstripping the GDP size of your economy. Stand down. Your country don't stand a chance. It's over.
Covert1: The Nigerian Navy showing up off Cap Town with a Landing Ship Tank. At any given time the Nigerian Military High Command can deploy two combat battalion teams and a motorized armoured column into South African streets and if need be overrun and capture Pretoria.
Covert1: A JF-17 Thunder 4.5 Generation Fighter Jet armed with WWR missiles & BVR missiles.
The Nigerian Armed Forces has totally vanquished the SANDF in arms race. It's over and the proof is there for all the world to see. No one should accord the failed Southies time.
