Ishilove:Amen ... same to you |
Ishilove:I understand the point you're making but I have my way of recognising good people even from a distance. I have known Regina right from her beginning days in Nollywood and her personality aligns with the kind of lady I would want to marry. So, this is not about celebrity crush but an honest truth. I don't care what anybody thinks or says but if I have the chance, I'll marry her over and over again! Thanks for your counsels anyway. |
Emily244:Would you rather she dies in the marriage?? If she feels it's okay for her to remain there, it's her decision to make and I'll respect that. But if she thinks leaving the marriage is in her best interest, the decision is equally hers. What I wouldn't want is for her to remain in the marriage just because of what people would say and the fear of not finding someone else to marry. |
Ishilove:She's intelligent, beautiful and she has a good heart! She was just a victim in that marriage arrangement. |
pocohantas:I just hope she'll not go back into that marriage because of what people would say or to avoid being mocked. She must prioritise her peace of mind, freedom and general well-being. She must not be deceived by those who are mocking her with loneliness. There are many of us who would give anything to marry her if only she'll accept! |
pocohantas:Settle now and get beaten tomorrow again? Is this what you'll do if you're in her position? Infidelity and domestic violence are the only valid grounds for one to divorce! If Osinachi had taken wise counsels earlier and divorced that beast of a husband she would have been alive today. |
If you investigate very well now you may discover that these couple are quarreling over insignificant things. The man should think twice and settle amicably with his wife. So long as it is not infidelity or threat to his life, he should forgive his wife and mother of his six children and restore their marriage for the benefit of all. Men still forgive cheating wives and remain married to them let alone when cheating was not involved. Anybody who is going into marriage must learn to forgive because marriages thrive on continuous forgiveness of one's partner. Say no to divorce over flimsy excuses! Let's restore the institution of marriage to it's glorious place and intended purpose. |
CoronaVirusPro:You people should stop this senseless talk about expenses abroad abeg! No matter how much one spends from his or her salary in the UK, he'll still save enough money to make investment back home! My sister who could barely make ends meet while in Nigeria is now well off in the UK. No matter how much she spends with her family over there she still saves to solve problems she couldn't solve back home while in Nigeria! There's no comparison! Even the current economic reality in the country has further worsened the suffering in Nigeria! Not even ₦300k salary in Nigeria assures financial security in Nigeria today yet you guys want to compare black with white? |
oluwaahmed:Reserve that advice to small-minded people, not me! I'm too mentally empowered to believe in rubbish things like "magun" or whatever Ned did to scare Regina and have her stuck with him |
Even my humble self would soon relocate abroad to ply my trade over there! It is too bad that after years of suffering and reading lots of books in school you'll end up earning peanuts and working under the harshest condition in Nigeria. |
pocohantas:It won't be ideal for her to remain single for long after leaving the marriage. She'll need to remarry sooner than later so as to have a soulmate to help her completely overcome the trauma she's currently going true in the name of marriage. |
Raf4:You see your life? You're shocked that a guy is willing to marry her against your wish that she remains unmarried and disgraced should she leave Ned Nwoko so you can mock and ridicule her! People with your kind of thoughts are the reasons why I believe that she'll need a man who can take her abroad if she wants to remarry! Even before Ned married her, I had always being on her matter so your thinking that I'll want to marry to become step father to Ned's kids is just an attempt to shame me into deciding otherwise. But unfortunately you're talking to a guy who doesn't care about what you think of him when it comes to what he likes! |
pocohantas:All marriages are not bad! There are good men out there who would give her peace and genuine love if they marry her! Some of you ladies would deliberately walk into the arms of bad guys and when such guys are done dealing with you you'll tag ALL men as scum. All men are not scum! You're the one who made the wrong choice! |
SamuraiXXX:I'll marry Regina in a blink if I get the chance! That should tell you how much I like her. I may not do same for other single mums but for Regina! Deal with it! |
pocohantas:Why shaking your head? She'll need to be taken far away from Ned and the prying eyes of Nigerians to enjoy maximum peace. |
SeaTrade:And who says she can't survive after leaving Ned? She'll enjoy life and live free if she leaves that marriage! All she needs is to remarry a guy who can take her abroad away from Ned and other Nigerians who might want to poke nose into her affairs. Mind you, there are guys like myself who're willing to marry her at a blink if she accepts. |
SamuraiXXX:Remember she's a talented actress. She's got connections and she's beautiful, so getting a job won't be hard for her |
Tenrack:Yes, single mother like Regina. I've always liked her even before she was pushed into that marriage by her mother. |
Tenrack:See what? All over the world, ladies remarry after failed marriages! Why would her own be different? One thing about me is that I don't pretend about what I want. I go for it! |
Sammy101111:You're wrong dude. I'll wife up that girl at a blink if she lets me. I'll then take her straight abroad to start a new life and give her all the love and comfort she'll ever need. This is just to debunk your claim that no guy would marry her if she leaves Ned now. |
Jokerman:I will marry that girl sharply if she lets me! |
ufotunang:Obviously! And her mum pushed her into the marriage! |
SeaTrade:Just imagine what you're typing! So she should remain a slave in Ned Nwoko 's house because of money and lifestyle? In this generation where slavery has been abolished and people now live freely?? All she needs now is to come out of that marriage, get a job and stay on her own. She's beautiful and I can assure you that there are many men (including myself) who would marry and give her all the love in this world if only she'll let them! I'm very sure that she'll survive and become a happy and free human again if she leaves that marriage! |
See this girl I wanted to marry that year. Her mom pushed her to go and Marry Ned Nwoko, now see what he has turned this beautiful girl into...too bad! |
Kobojunkieee:And one of the world's notorious Enemy of Marriage just quoted me! There are more good marriages than bad ones ! The fact that people seldom talk about the good ones don't mean they don't exist! The bad marriages attract more attention than the good ones because people like you would give them all the publicity in the world to discourage others from getting married! |
Ishilove:You are very much right, Ishi! Those who missed out on getting good spouses and those who have passed their prime without being married would tell lots of bad tales to demonize marriage and get young people scared of getting married. There are good marriages around but nobody talks about them! Me I'll be very happy to meet and marry my soulmate soon and enjoy marriage |
Couples who are still inlove wouldn't be arguing like this. The marriage between the couples in the above post is headed for the rocks if they don't work hard to rekindle their love and restore things before it becomes too late. How can I be arguing with my lovely wife over things like who pays for what? Unless I married a lady I'm not inlove with for whatever reasons. |
You must have married a lady you ain't into for reasons best known to you. If a guy marries a lady who is his spec, he never gets tired of making love to her. |
As usual, an Igbo man becomes the scapegoat!!! The hatred for the Igbo tribe in this country is very glaring. |
This is a good development if properly implemented. Government should also work towards harmonizing wages in the country such that private and public sectors pay uniform salaries for same job descriptions. This would reduce pressure on government in terms of employment. |
After foolishly getting pregnant for some useless Playboys while ignoring and rejecting advances from responsible guys, they'll now come with sob stories and expect me to waste my sympathy on them..... never! This is one of the consequences of girls jumping after irresponsible playboys while claiming some useless "love"! Stop throwing yourselves at aszholes and wait for responsible men to find you attractive and come for you so you can dictate the direction of the affair and get the man to marry you first before sex, they'll not listen! It's 21st century were women think they're now woke and deviate from time-tested ways our forebearers used to get things like marriage to last and avoid problems of single motherhood. They have to suffer the consequences alone and stop seeking pity party!!! |
Zionmdde:The wickedness goes both ways! The employers are majorly wicked while some employees are equally wicked! It is only in Nigeria that private sector employers pay staff peanuts despite the huge work they subject these staff to. There are many evil private employees that really deserve this kind of treatment! As for the woman, if she was good to her staff but got treated in this manner, may heavens come to her help. |
