Samantha125:This must be Sepedi, I guess? |
AndroBlaze:It is very laudable for a 16years old girl who desires to be married to get married! You fake woke generation should stop with this annoying display of fake wokeness! Stop! |
Alliswell248:You and him should be ashamed of yourselves for finding your voices on where a poor innocent lady is! The yeye king has no moral grounds to talk about morality when I'm sure he's one of the most morally bankrupt traditional rulers who easily get bought over by politicians to do their biddings even when it is against the tradition of the lands they govern. |
God1000:Honestly! My own sister was even the one who sponsored her family abroad! With the way my sisters are sweating it out in their husbands' homes, one yeye pseudo feminist would still want me to carry her responsibilities 100%! Because my own family is born to suffer to uplift others or what? |
Sirmwill:This is rubbish! Men must avoid this senseless advice. Bible says men should love their wives as Christ loves the church and women should submit to their husbands, not the other way round! I only pity low self esteemed girls who would go and marry a man who is barely "managing" them! You and your children go suffer! The way marriage is done in this part of the world requires that a lady leaves her family and go into the man's family. The man must be madly in love with you as a lady in order to protect your interests and help you find your feet in your new family, otherwise you'll be turned into a slave before you know it. Those who have ears should hear me! |
The so called Oba is talking jargons! He should first call for the arrest of corrupt politicians that have looted Nigerian wealth dry and subjected Nigerians like Mandy Kiss to lives of struggling to survive at all costs! The call for her arrest is misplaced and shows how our leaders at all levels would rather beat around the bush than tackling the major problems facing the country. |
Honestly, I don't like it that big.the medium ones are my preferences |
Nigerians need to understand that medical doctors don't know much about drugs compared to Pharmacists! I have seen a lot in the hospital where I currently work. From right dosage, dosing frequency and duration as well as drug interactions, they don't know all these things! Pharmacists are the one who scrutinize their prescriptions and give the right thing without making noise about it, yet these doctors refuse to acknowledge that! The doctor of pharmacy programme and consultancy in pharmacy which were all aimed at producing world class pharmacists who can fit into the ever-evolving roles of Pharmacists are being fought by medical doctors just for their selfish interests while denying Nigerians the services of such world class pharmacists as recommended by W.H.O. Yet, death rate in our hospitals continue to soar while government spends money on frivolities and to please the medical doctors without tackling one of the major causes of declining life expectancy in the country! |
creolehunt:Because of this ignorant post of yours, I'll start uploading prescription errors made by medical doctors which we have to correct on daily basis! We Pharmacists are the ones teaching medical doctors drugs in hospitals! My only anger is that after teaching them they'll not appreciate it. There are some resident doctors that got newly employed our facility that make a whole lot of errors in their prescriptions, we correct these errors and teach the doctors the right thing without making noise about it. Yet same doctors are the one doing everything to undermine the pharmacy profession even against the world health organisation 's guidelines and recognition of Pharmacists as the only custodians of drug knowledge! This post of yours is a pointer to how far the medical doctors have gone in trying to undermine the pharmacy profession by feeding lies to the public and short changing pharmacists in hospitals to the detriment of patients most of whom don't know what's up. These ill-informed acts of undermining pharmacists in hospitals has largely contributed to increased death rate in Nigeria and also led to increased drugs resistance by microorganisms and parasites while Nigerian governments keep spending money ignorantly without tackling one of the root causes of the problem! NAFDAC and PCN should please stop taking bribes and start regular enforcement activities especially here in the southeast with Enugu state as the first port of call. They'll uncover Alot of malpractices taking place in hospitals in Enugu state in particular and southeast in general! It is mind boggling! It is because of the negligence of enforcement activities that give people like the ignorant poster above the nerves to post jargons like this! FYI, Pharmacists are the next in line after medical doctors in an ideal hospital setting! Like I said before, I'll start posting the large volume of prescription errors doctors make in the hospital were I work, maybe then you'll appreciate the silent works Pharmacists are doing for Nigerians in these hospitals! Wait for it! |
See as people would rather castigate the man but if it had been the other way round they'll start throwing emotional tantrums and telling how hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and trying to guilt trip the guy into marrying her at all costs. |
This is what you get in a country where quacks are allowed to do the jobs meant for professionals! The building industry in Nigeria has been infiltrated by quacks who go about bearing the title "Engineer''! Building collapses can only be tackled when government makes a strict law prohibiting quacks from building houses for people. The other profession that has been so much bastardized in Nigeria is the medical profession! From quack doctors, quack nurses and the illiterates who pose as Pharmacists, all contributing to the increased death rate in Nigeria! I currently work in a hospital as a pharmacist and what I see on daily basis make me weep for Nigeria. Go to most hospitals in the east, they hardly employ Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals! In an attempt to maximise profits, they seldom employ professionals! The kind of prescription errors we see and correct in the facility where I work are not corrected in those facilities not employing Pharmacists and the government looks the other way while people are poisoned to death with drugs on daily basis. Of course, autopsies are not usually carried out on dead people in Nigeria, so there's no way to trace the cause of death! Government agencies like PCN and NAFDAC in southeast only take bribes and seldom carry out enforcement activities in these hospitals and that is what has given them the impetus to kill Nigerians with reckless abandon! Even doctors too encourage such quackery by training the so called "auxiliary nurses" even when we have a pool of nurses being churned out every here and there. We must begin to emphasize professionalism in every field if we want to grow as a nation because with the level of quackery in Nigeria, foreigners seldom patronise our hospitals and engineering firms thereby causing loss of forex that would have been generated from these sectors! Government agencies saddled with the responsibilities of checkmating quackery in various fields neet to stop taking bribes and do their jobs! Sit up and save Nigerians from untimely death! |
UniversalDove:Go and check, most of those in the poverty group are unmarried people and widows such as spinsters, bachelors, widows and orphans. |
Op, only those with deep understanding of the universe would agree with you! This is how it works; men are greatly motivated by their women! Most men can't bear seeing their women suffer in lacks, so immediately a man gets married, there's this sense of responsibility that he feels which propels him to work harder, make connections and make money! A woman's presence in a man's life is a great motivator and doors of wealth opens as a result of his increased efforts. Some women also directly contribute ideas, connections and in some cases, finances too. Another great motivator (in fact, greater than the former) is the presence of children! Most men are terribly pained watching their children suffer. The fear of seeing your children suffer and not being able to provide for them also push many men to wealth. Some men turn alcoholics as a coping strategy when they cannot provide and that's too bad! Those who channel that desire to provide positively will eventually make wealth! |
HeatSeeker:That gender only have standards when it concerns a poor man. When a rich man is involved, all their "standards" crumble under the influence of money! |
Most times men are forced by circumstances to marry who they don't love. In that case, losing interest in her becomes inevitable. If I marry my kind of lady, I would never lose interest in her. |
FreeIgboho:We are meant to lift one another up! It is not bad if a man lifts his in-law up. After all, nobody really became rich on their own without being helped in one way or the other by other people. This is why ladies should not just marry a man because he has money! A man can have all the money in the world but would not render any financial help to his wife not to talk of her family. While a good in-law with good heart can help his wife's family from his little resources or in other ways. But these ladies never listen! |
Ladies of nowadays are not helping matters at all! The women emancipation taking place all over the world is aimed at helping women to be financially independent and not wait for men to do it all. But after being empowered and given equal opportunities with men, they become so selfish and still reject good men simply because they have not yet made money. But if the reverse becomes the case, the financially empowered man would stoop low and marry women who have nothing! Our ladies need orientation honestly. They need to learn how to lend a helping hand and lift their men up. It is not too much to ask for. Women are created primarily to sooth and make men happy. That is why nature took time to create them with beautiful bodies and tenderness that melt even the strongest man! Many men of marriageable ages today are not married and are unhappy because of the rejections they have suffered in the hands of women. This op for example wouldn't be so miserable if he had the warmth of a woman soothing his pains. In fact, he would have been greatly motivated to work harder and make money! Yes, you heard me right! Women are one of the major motivators of men! If a man has a woman he's deeply in love with, he tends to work very hard to please her. So, when nowadays ladies continually reject our young men and deny them the warmth and feminine affection, it creates a society filled with demoralised and unhappy men and this is one of the reasons crime rate is on the rise in our society today. So, ladies should learn to look beyond immediate wealth and build empires with their men in order to create a decent and happy society for all. It is not bad if you as a lady connects your man to that job you or your friends/relatives have. You can also help your man start a business and contribute your knowledge and experience to make the business grow. My own big sister sponsored her family abroad and had been a pillar in her home while in Nigeria. How many other ladies can do that? Our ladies need to do better please. Op, don't stop keeping hope alive! Provided there's life there's still hope. Keep on trying and also see if you can get a good lady to marry and build a family with. God would definitely come through for you ok. Never give up! |
Please ban every elected and appointed political office holders and their families from receiving visas to the USA. That's one way the developed nations can help promote development in Nigeria |
One thing that's now very clear to me is that Asians are very intelligent set of humans! This boy has further proven what I knew about Asians and intelligence. Kudos to him! |
This only reminded me about my late dad because he was a staunch member of NAPO and worked on the other trains of the NLNG projects in Bonny. NLNG should do well to grant their demands! These are hardworking men who are using their skills to make ends meet. |
symbianDON:Honestly, they seem not to know that increased salaries would translate to increased productivity and also reduce corruption! |
symbianDON:Who told you they're better paid Nigerian private sector employers are devils and would never pay better than government! Go to any private university you know and find out for your self! Bad as the public universities maybe, they still pay better. Honestly, salaries in this country need serious improvements. It's not only university lecturers that suffer the same fate but all Nigerian workers! Even health workers that work round the clock are still paid peanuts in Nigeria while politicians receive huge salaries for doing next to nothing! Nigeria is seriously cursed, honestly! |
Dynamicboss:Why did they attack him on account of not being sexually satisfied? The last I checked, women still make us believe that sex is not important to them but a favour they're doing their men? With the way many ladies go about issues of sex, the man might have concluded that sex is not important to his wives! |
OriOko88:Abi the major employers of slave labourers Pray not to work for any missionary organisation, be it school, hospital or any other! Despite all monies you'll be making for them, they'll be paying you peanuts. That's why many people resign from missionary jobs. Ask lecturers in any of the universities owned by the churches |
How can The Ayes and eiye be holding event on same venue? It's just like lighting fires around kegs of gunpowder... |
Kobojunkie:Whenever I read your takes on marriage and relationships, I see frustration written all over it. The fact that you missed out on marriage shouldn't make you this antagonistic of the institution of marriage! I have never seen you type anything positive about marriage! It's either you're deceiving younger girls to remain unmarried or you're encouraging divorce! I pity any lady who would take relationship counsels from you! @topic, ladies should try to loosen up and stop being too strict when it comes to choosing a marriage partner! Provided the man is not evil, is hardworking (even though he may not be so wealthy yet) does not have some bad genes and is teachable, ladies should learn to cut down on all the long lists they expect from MR RIGHT. Of course, this advice is for ladies who desire to be married. Marriage, like every other human relationships, thrives on genuine commitments to make make things work. One should be ready to forgive one's partner over and over again, to teach and learn every day and to be devoted to making the marriage work. There's no perfect man or woman anywhere! This is why for me, what I try to look out for in a lady (aside being physically attracted to me) is her readiness to forgive, to learn and to teach. |
Anioma state would be very much viable given her rich natural resources and great human capital potentials! |
I'm pained greatly whenever I read an article like this that reminds of the fate that befell the Igbos during the genocide disguised as civil war. It is really heart wrenching and makes one question the need of remaining patriotic to Nigeria! I fully support the creation of Anioma state as a starting point in healing the wounds of the unfortunate civil war. Those who think that distorting facts and telling outright lies in a bid to suppress the Igbo nation should have a rethink. Building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria will only remain a mirage if it is anchored on falsehood and marginalisation of a section of the country; especially one of the major ethnic groups that constitute Nigeria! Anioma state has come to stay and even those of us from the so called mainland Igbo are fully in support! We must put a stop to a situation where our Igbo brothers and sisters across the Niger have to deny their Igbo identity in an attempt to survive politically in the midst of non-Igbos with whom they share states! |
SonOfZeus:Honestly! This is what I have been preaching here since! Ladies are so ruthless and selfish when dealing with men. They have no pity for men at all ! If they want to break a man's heart, they do it in the most devastating manner but if they're the ones at the receiving end, the man would be guilttripped by some useless people in the society. Every wise guy out there must learn to be ruthlessly selfish when dealing with women. It is a survival strategy for wise men! |
