PARADIZEPRIEST:Peter Mbah is more cerebral than many so called PhD holders in this country, especially those of them in law. I know many law PhD holders, no big deal there! Na copy and paste many of them dey do. That is why I believe he already has a PhD considering that he uses the Doc title and also how smart he is. If the other guys are getting, he is more qualified to have it too! |
PARADIZEPRIEST:The way some of you just underrate people ehn! Governor Mbah is very brilliant! Ever heard him speak or analyze issues? You'll get to understand that he's not just like every other Agbero politician! I think he has a PhD in law sef or LLD |
The message is very loud and clear but some Nigerians like to attach unnecessary sentiments and emotions to issues. In the present reality in our job market, some courses can't just sell. Therefore, giving out loans to students studying such courses would do neither the students nor the country any good. We are talking about LOANS not bursary allowance or any other kind of freebies! Some courses need to be scrapped or reserved for moneybags who want to acquire degrees for bragging rights QED |

I'm beginning to believe that politicians are involved in these heartless killings and that is why they have not made drastic laws to curtail such inhumane acts. Immediate and excruciatingly painful death should be handed down to anyone involved in this kind of crime. |
placeofallure:This is why men mostly prefer to marry younger girls so that as they both age he could still find her attractive, especially if she is making efforts to look attractive. |
EnglandAmaka:I believe he has a PhD in law hence the Doc title. Man is very intelligent anyway. Honor well deserved! |
Metrofox:I've noticed that here on nairaland. Once the news is about Igbo, they all bare their fangs and attack but if it's Yoruba, they try to cover it up. |
Richtaiwo:Because your tribesman is involved this time you've suddenly become an advocate of not reporting the news to the media! Hypocrites |
Because their wives have become unattractive at that age. Women become sexually unattractive to men from the age of 30 but some men would not agree with me because they want to be political about it. |
Politicians should endeavor to do things right always and avoid parochialism in matters of public interests. This project when executed would benefit both Nkanu East and West LGAs; including the two communities of Akpugo and Amagunze. I just hope they don't sacrifice such noble projects on the alter of communal politics. The Enugu state boundary commission and the Federal government should rise to the occasion and address the matter in a way that would not hinder execution of the project. |
Kudos to governor Mbah on this. |
I'm beginning to hate all these Epistles about who ladies should date or marry. Ffs let the useless b1tches date or marry whoever they want and live with the consequences. Men should understand that marriage or relationship to the modern ladies is a GAME which most play with the hope of gaining advantages over their men. If the man is foolish enough to be outplayed, the ladies win but on the contrary, they lose and lament! |
frozen70:Why are y'all getting all fused up Because your gender is at the receiving end![]() Oh! I forgot, men are supposed to be ones dying of stress while women live to enjoy the children? O kwa la unu in this generation because many men are now wiser! No more slaving for women in the name of marriage! |
I pity the dead woman but then again, the lady narrating the story is just another useless evening newspaper who couldn't find herself a man to marry and had to start consoling herself by hating on men. Those are the bunch of women that make up Nigerian pseudo feminists. |
rickleye:Who told she doesn't "love" the man she's getting married to?? Women have different definitions and variants of "love". I pity those of you that think there's any girl genuinely loves a man. |
Although some primitive dunces still practice caste system in igboland, this very one is nothing but CONTENT CREATION. Nothing real here! |
Enugu state is still busy building structures without trained workforce to activate the primary healthcare centers. The year is almost gone but none of the much talked about 260 type 2 primary healthcare centers has become operational. We are still observing Peter Mbah sha Meanwhile, the 1.2million dollars should be monitored by Bill and Melinda Gates foundation to ensure that it actually goes into primary healthcare and not diverted by the governor. |
The Igbo apprenticeship system is a form of modern day SLAVERY that has frustrated many Igbo youths and rendered them useless and hopeless! Those still advocating for that rubbish simply don't want to tell the truth or are just totally ignorant of the evils in that system. People should go ahead and employ paid staff to run their businesses instead of enslaving more unsuspecting Igbo youths. I'll rather encourage our youths to learn artisanship skills even if it means paying someone to train them and never engage in any slavish service to any master! |
Versitee:unless you'll live in a place like Abakpa but then, you'll have to pay transport daily to GRA.. The place is closer to GRA though. Abakpa has cheaper accommodations compared to areas like GRA where the company is located. But you should be ready to battle with challenges of living in a low-income area such as epileptic electricity supply, insecurity etc and you shouldn't expect a fine house with that amount. A public "face me I slap you ' is what that 60k can get you. |
President Bola Tinubu should better call Wike to order now! For crying out loud, this property belongs to a man who served this country diligently and even fought a war for the country. It's unfair to revoke his property in that manner. How do you encourage other Nigerians to be diligent in service to the nation if all they worked for all their lives can just be revoked by one riffraff politician in a twinkle of an eye ![]() Wike must be made to understand that he's only but a servant to the nation and not an emperor who can just go about wielding powers recklessly to the detriment of well-meaning Nigerians! Enough of Wike's excesses! Even Tinubu is not as power drunk as Wike! |
The way the Nigerian army and government swiftly deal with southern agitators in comparison with northerners truly calls for sober reflection. Some criminals up north have been unleashing mayhem on Nigerians in the region but the federal government has never taken a hard stance to put a stop on their numerous atrocities. But once the matter involves southerners, the military suddenly becomes effective in unleashing terror on agitators. Some animals are indeed more equal than others. |
Fiscus105:You're a brainwashed simp. Food that they hustled to bring to the table, her only job is cook the food and also eat her own share of it. Pains of child birth having her own children, or don't you know that children actually belong to their mothers in the real sense of it? Don't worry, you'll learn later in life that children truly belong to women. Many men have gone through all sorts of dangers to fend for their families only to die just after training the kids leaving their mothers to enjoy all the benefits from those children alone. Name bearing is immaterial as many ladies now bear hyphenated saw names with their fathers' names first. |
chiommy123:Many of us have even decided to let you marry yourselves! So, better join the lez club and get yourself a fellow woman to marry you since you all fail to acknowledge the sacrifices men make to marry you. |
Who would want to marry them ![]() Most of us men are now going our own way (MGTOW), so no time for any liability called wife! |
To the northerners, during the 2023 presidential election, it was another battle against Igbos. Many of them believed that Tinubu would soon die so that Shettima would take over. That was the basis upon which even Mahmud Yakub became partisan and rigged the election in favor of APC. Fast forward to today, Tinubu is still standing gidigba and many northerners are getting disappointed that their plans didn't work out. Whoever that is close to Tinubu should warn him to be very wary of those northerners. They can do and undo in order to grab power in Nigeria o A word is enough............. |
This batch of the product must have circulated far beyond control since every tom,d1ck and harry sells drugs in the country without regulation! Many of them operating patent medicine stores would likely not know about this recall. The implication is that they'll continue to sell this problematic batch to unsuspecting Nigerians thereby causing more public health problems! Can y'all now see why some of us advocate for more strict regulation of the pharmaceutical distribution? Until the day you or your loved ones suffer problems associated with drugs, you'll not understand the need for stricter control of medicines in this country. |
alezzy13:Nothing wrong in posting the amount on social media. He made the post probably to further buttress how intellectualism is no longer rewarded in the country. He didn't make the post to attract sympathy but to lend his voice in advocating for better rewards for intellectualism just like many of us have been doing. He probably didn't expect the post to gain attention like it did to the point of him getting the 1M naira reward. |
wonder233:He wasn't the one that prevented you from getting a first class, so quit being jealous of him! All over the world, academic excellence is still recognized and rewarded handsomely! There's nothing you can apply whatever skill you talk about to without first being discovered via intellectual works. That is why serious and progressive nations have continually rewarded academic excellence. Only a nation like Nigeria that is led by dunces and agberos (like Oshomole) do not prioritize academic excellence but would rather enthrone mediocrity everywhere! Our sound minds in this country have been frustrated and left to wonder about without being given the opportunity to unleash their potentials. That is why it appears like academic excellence is not beneficial to the nation. Give these intellectuals a place to stand and watch them move not just Nigeria forward but the world as a whole. |
