Politics › Re: Kebbi Govt Conducts Mass Wedding For 300 Couples by Jman06(m): 4:45am On Mar 01, 2025
Whenever you see news like this, don't think the northern politicians don't know what they're doing. An agenda is being pursued but the "woke" southerners won't see it until they're overwhelmed completely.

Attachment to western education and lifestyles deplete the southern Nigerian population while the north keeps their population soaring through Islamic lifestyles. In no time, the agenda to dominate every part of the country would materialize while the few Christian population in the South would have no choice than fall in line. It is already happening!

Solution would have been to split along northern/southern divide but our greedy and selfish politicians wouldn't have all that.
Politics › Re: "Gowon’s Failed Promise To Secure Igbos Triggered Civil War" - IBB by Jman06(m): 3:09pm On Feb 27, 2025
Eriokanmi:
Gowon is one of the cowards, insincere and weakest military leaders ever known. OBJ made same revelation. It appears IBB no wan carry the truth commot as his time ticks, which was why he spilled the beans. The foundation of this nation really had issues but the successive generations could have corrected it, if not for ethnic bigotry. It all started from the north and later found its way to the south due to the perceived civil war massacre as witnessed by those who lived in that era. I had an igbo colleague in those days, who was well advanced in age. He's in his 60s now. He once narrated the unfortunate war to me as as experienced as a child and how he escaped those who captured him and wanted to send him to war to carry gun despite his age. I felt so emotional. My maternal uncle from ekiti also died in the civil war. He was my mum's immediate younger brother and the only son of my grandma.

Sadly, those generation of igbos to whom the story was narrated didn't manage the situation well. Rather than move on, they instigated rebellion against other tribes by accusing them of genocide and hate for the igbos. Yorubas and hausas also suffered severe casualties. All our forefathers were guilty and selfish. They caused the current wahala majorly. I've read several books on the civil war and the last I read was the Why We Struck. The intention of the war was to release Pa Awo and fast track the transition into civil rule by handing over power to him but baba made a you-turn by hobnobbing with gowon and giving them harsh tactics against the igbos, which included cutting off food supplies to them. Gowon also made his promise to him. Till his death, Pa Awo never ruled Nigeria.

I can never be a tribalist except I don't want this country to move forward. Pa Awo was to be killed alongside others but was released . The briefing containing the future of Nigeria was handed over to him but he went to Gowon's camp instead and the war rather raged on and took another turn. The Aburi Accord was also jettisoned, despite Gowon's promise to keep it. All our leaders still alive must apologise to all of us for ruining this great union called Nigeria and rendering this generation refugees at home and homeless abroad, struggling for survival.

The primordial problem is still evident today and that's why any tribe that produces president will populate his government with his tribes people. Naso e be from foundation. That's why I won't blame Tinubu wholly on what's happening in government today on his choice of political appointees. I only blame him for not being a true democrat by following his predecessors character. He should have acted differently because these were the perceived injustices he fought for, as a political activist back in the days.

Who knows, whenever it gets to the igbo's turn, they'd fill the government with their people too, time will tell. I think if we truly split and bear our father's names, it's better for us all else, the trend will only continue except our generation is proven wrong by whoever succeeds tinubu. Only obj ruled fairly in Nigeria, both as military and as civilian. I remember when some of our elders accused him of not being fair to yorubas and he said he's not yoruba president but Nigeria's president.
You're very much on point,sir!

If the current trend of tribalism in government representation continues, it'll be a matter of small time before the country splits.

Buhari was a disaster who didn't even hide his scorn for the rest of the country who're not Hausas. Jonathan tried, but Obasanjo is the true Nigerian leader of contemporary Nigeria as far as I'm concerned.

It's not the job of NAFDAC to seize USAID donated drugs from traders who probably bought them from the NGOs. NAFDAC should only make sure that those drugs have not expired. The traders bought the drugs from the NGOs, so it is their property.

Crime › Re: My Life Is In Danger – NAFDAC DG Cries Out by Jman06(m): 7:10pm On Feb 26, 2025
The FG must expedite actions towards a full-scale implementation of the national drug distribution guidelines (NDDGs) by ensuring that coordinated drug wholesale centers are built if not in all the states of the federation and FCT, but at least in each of the geopolitical zones of the country.

Building these centers must not be left in the hands of those currently benefitting from the current chaotic markets because they would frustrate the noble motives of the CWCs. Government should rather take up the task of building such centers and afterwards, rent it out to those who are genuinely interested in doing pharmaceutical business and who're ready to comply with the NDDGs.

Adequate security must be provided to Prof and other staff of the regulatory agencies especially during periods of enforcement.
This menace of fake drugs must be fought and totally eradicated from our healthcare system NOW. It's a very big shame that in the 21st century, Nigeria is still battling this cankerworm. Too bad!

When that incident happened in 2019, some ignorant folks in the east were hailing the criminals and making them appear like some invincible superpowers who cannot be subdued by government. I just knew it was lack of political will on the part of government that fuel those murderers and their activities.

Once government wants to handle them, they'll be demystified.

Kudos to Tinubu's government on this one
Health › Re: NAFDAC Shuts Down Over 11,000 Medicine Shops, Confiscates Trillions In Fake Drug by Jman06(m): 12:06am On Feb 25, 2025
Kudos to you, Prof Adeyeye!

However, this operation should not be restricted to the three markets but should be extended to all the other open drug markets in the country (especially those in the southeast). There's one here in Enugu ie Ogbete market. That one is also an extension of bridgehead market. They're partners in crime and have made a total mess of the pharmaceutical supply chain in Enugu state and other parts of the southeast.

I also advocate that the death penalty for those engaged in sales of fake and adulterated drugs should be pursued and made effective. Enough of treating those murderers with kids gloves!

Romance › Re: Avoid Buying Drugs From Small Pharmacy by Jman06(m): 9:15pm On Feb 23, 2025
You should say, buy from PCN-registered pharmacies with pharmacy logo clearly displayed on their sign board. Also, when you go to buy drugs, always insist on seeing the pharmacist. A pharmacy being manned by a registered pharmacist has little to no chances of selling fake because the pharmacist understands the consequences both on the patient's lives and on his/her professional reputation.

Avoid buying from roadside patent medicine stores! Those ones don't care about your health but about profit only

Don't mind the f00ls calling her underage! I'm beginning to see sense in the Muslim culture of marrying off girls early (provided they're up to legal age).

It is better to marry early and at least bear healthy children so the man can have something to show for all he has to go through in the marriage as the man of the house.

Not marrying one old cargo who'll not only expect you to man up and provide for her but would have you running from one fertility clinic to another and spending hard earned money searching for an offspring.

NB; the Muslim culture of marrying off their girls early is also a strategic tool to ensure population growth and ensure that Islam expands

You've spoken well Mr governor,sir!

Please, actions should be expedited on the coordinated wholesale center being built in Oba so that in less than a year from now, it'd have become functional.

High level of professional standards have to be maintained in the CWC with all the regulatory bodies on ground to enforce standards and ensure that all the pharmaceutical products leaving the market to our hospitals and pharmacies are of the highest standards!

This is one of the conditions that are sine qua non if governments' investments in the healthcare sector must yield the desired results!

Romance › Re: I Want To Leave My Marriage – Man Cry Out by Jman06(m): 11:41am On Feb 22, 2025
The reason marriage is becoming tougher for men now than before is that while women are becoming increasingly demanding in their needs, financial opportunities have become near equal for both genders yet women still stick to the old mentality of " men must provide". They have refused to adjust to the new reality that things have changed, and what a man needed to satisfy the material needs of a woman in the past have skyrocketed in present generation thus putting men in very difficult situations to satisfy and make their women happy.

How do you mean by "see as your competitors"huh Fake drugs merchants can never be my competitors!

And yes, the likes of Peter Obi in government took bribes in Kano and Abuja until Ganduje's government showed the political will to keep them out of their dirty business in Kano.

Even the current action by NAFDAC is an indication that Tinubu's government is now showing the political will to solve the problems posed by the fake drugs merchants to our healthcare system.

With the current efforts, one can now guarantee that all the monies government has been investing towards revamping our healthcare system might start bearing expected results.

When we say you guys are senslessly foolish, you think we are cursing you, but its just a fact.

Ask anybody that knows how Peter Obi dealt with head bridge people selling drugs when he was governor. He dealth ruthelessly with them, especially in conjunction with Dora who was the sister from Agulu. Peter Obi partnered with FG in building a NAFDAC laboratory in Agulu, Peter Obi also assisted in building the Nnamdi Azikiwe University School of pharmacy beisde the NAFDAC lab in Agulu, all these are efforts to combat fake drugs in Anambra during Peter Obi regime.

Go and verify.
Yet after doing all you mentioned, he clearly sabotaged NAFDAC and Dora's efforts and that explains why Dora couldn't solve the problem eventually. Instead, the fake drugs merchants became more emboldened because the likes of Obi became political and started welcoming brown envelopes and emissaries being sent by the charlatans!
That's the only logical explanation to why the problem not only persisted but became worse after Dora. That also explains why Peter Obi was quick to rush to the market to sympathize with the criminals!
Politics › Re: Is Peter Obi in support of fake drugs? by Jman06(m): 12:38pm On Feb 17, 2025
Honestly, I no longer root for that man seeing that he's obviously in support of those charlatans. What it means is that if he ever becomes Nigeria's president, he'll encourage the activities of those fake drugs dealers. God forbid!

If he's ignorant of the harms those guys are causing to our healthcare system, he could have consulted those that are in the system to educate him.

God forbid an Obi presidency abeg!

About 90% of the confiscated drugs are not fake just that NAFDAC officials are corrupt and if you fail to play ball they will seal your store , seize your products and tag them fake and counterfeit.
Stop being stupid! I'm in the system and I know that the menace of fake drugs has reached its crescendo in this country and NAFDAC was even a bit late in taking action as many Nigerians have met their untimely deaths due to fake drugs even in our government hospitals!

NAFDAC should not only seal those fake drugs markets but close them down permanently!

If we don't get it right with our drug supply chain, then no amount of funds invested in healthcare by government would ever improve the system! Government will only continue to waste funds without results!

Kudos to NAFDAC for waking up to their lawful duties. Better late than never!

MadPolitician:
Most of the drugs seized are not fake. They just happen to not have NAFDAC numbers. These are two different things.

And Most of the seized drugs are actually if the highest quality from say the USA or Britain. Ask the traders.

The thing is that NAFDAC officials are full of pharmacists or aligned to them and as such prefer to see drugs manufactured locally or traded at the instance of local pharmacists.

While NAFDAC certification must be enthroned, misinformation is evil. These western sourced drugs come in very small quantities because of the high prices. You can not get NAFDAC certification for such low quantities because it won't make business sense. And once the NAFDAC officials come, everything without their.number becomes fake.
Stop typing rubbish you this ignoramus! You're just diverting attention from the real problem with this falsehood you're posting here! Probably you're a paid agent who is out to type rubbish in favor of your paymasters so they can continue unsuspecting Nigerians with fake drugs!

From the messages NAFDAC have sent out to the public, there's little mention about those siezed drugs not having NAFDAC number! The problem is about criminal drug traders revalidating Expired drugs, selling controlled and banned drugs, making and selling outrightly FAKE drugs, storing cold chain products like vaccines in hot temperatures which lead to their destructions( of course the illiterates don't understand this), etc!

People like you who come up with unfounded claims in support of these criminals whenever NAFDAC are doing their lawful duties ought to be arrested as accomplices henceforth to serve as deterrent to others!

NAFDAC raids Idumota, Onitsha and classify all pharmaceuticals as 'FAKE' as long as they don't have NAFDAC number. But tolerate the same food supplement in private big chain pharmacies without NAfDAC number.

Who is fooling who?

And why did they not carry our their raid in Kano, but only in Lagos and Onitsha?

Almost 90% of the tramadol and codein consumed in this country is done up north.
Done up north still by the same Igbo traders! FYI, Kano drug market has been relocated to a CWC where the regulatory agencies have offices and are on ground to checkmate their activities. We all saw how our igbo brothers fought against the relocation of the sabon gari market to the coordinated wholesale center (CWC). Thank God for the political will shown by the Kano state government at the time which resulted to the market being relocated successfully.

Stop playing the tribal card here! I'm Igbo but I understand the damages those traders are doing to our healthcare system and the lives of Nigerians; including you and I who their supposed Igbo brothers!
