HealthRe: FG Approves Employment Of 50 Doctors, 100 Nurses Across Correctional Centres by Jman06(m): 11:36am On Mar 11
FG should also approve mass employment of health workers in our decaying public hospitals! Aside the meagre salaries the few available hands in those hospitals earn, there's a chronic shortage of staff too! These hospitals run 24/7 and the clueless Buhari government failed to staff these hospitals for 8years!

Using words of endearment towards another woman while on a public platform is quite disrespectful towards your fiancee... And do you want to get me divorced?😒😒😒

A will can only be contested if the applicant can prove its invalidity, lack of testamentary capacity from the testator, or coercion during the time the it was drafted.
Lolzzzz... it's just my way of letting you know that we're good. My fiancee is not on nairaland and I don't want to get you divorced my love

Samantha125:
So you're no longer mad at me? I deliberately commented just to see your reaction... grin grin grin... Good boy.

Anyways, I digress... The children would only fight and unalive each other if their father neither communicated his intentions clearly while he was still alive nor left behind a valid will.

The proper thing to do is to train and prepare your children from an early age by creating a structured development roadmap for them and by being transparent with them... One thing many African parents fail to do is mentoring their children into offering them hands on experience, which would help them identify their children's strengths and weaknesses.
How can I be mad at you, my love? I was never mad at you Sammie love!

Most times, men die unexpectedly without writing wills and leaving their children to fight over inheritance. In some cases, some children would still fight one another despite the existence of a will. I have seen cases where wills are contested in courts.

Yeah, I agree with you about the mentoring part. Fathers need to mentor and guide their children on financial literacy.

Samantha125:
But seriously, what were those parents doing with their lives apart from procreating when other parents were busy investing in their children's future?

Stop justifying your parents' laziness.
You don't understand it. Those guys asking such questions are those who feel entitled to inheriting wealth they did not work for. They're usually the lazy and greedy ones who would not work hard but keep castigating their parents for not having so much for them to inherit.

Everybody cannot be reach like the Dangotes. Some parents were just civil servants who relied on their meagre salaries! Provided your parents gave you the basics as a child, it is very irresponsible for you to hope on inheriting wealth from them instead of working hard to make your own wealth.

We see how some of such pampered children usually end up. Immediately their father dies, they start fighting and killing one another over inheritance and many of them end up wasting whatever they eventually inherit from their father's wealths and become liabilities to the society. If they had the independence mindset they wouldn't end that way.
FamilyParents, Stop Raising Children With Entitlement Mentality! by Jman06(op): 6:13pm On Mar 10
What you owe your children are the basics of life like feeding, healthcare, shelter, basic education and all these you are to give them while they are still children and not adults!

If you have provided the above in their childhood, immediately they turn 16, start instilling the mindset of independence in them. By asking them honest questions about what they want to do with their lives whether going to the university or learning a skilled work. You can decide based on their performances in school, the path each of them would toe. Those who are good in school can be guided on picking good courses with job prospects so they can proceed to study such courses in school. On the other hand, those who might not be so good academically can be guided to learn lucrative trades or skills.

Once they turn 18, make it clear to them that whatever you're doing for them going forward is a plus. We know that due to the kind of country we are in, there's a possibility that your adult children might not all become independent immediately, but make it clear to them that whatever support you're offering at certain age is just a grace.

I am sick and tired of some ungrateful adult children of nowadays going about insulting their parents and asking irresponsible questions like "where were their father when Dangote was making money?". Whenever I hear a child ask such questions, it annoys me. Asking your father such question is the height of ingratitude and irresponsibility!

We read posts here from the likes of sirchiboy castigating their parents for not amassing wealth enough for their lazy aszes to enjoy! Raising children with such mindset is very bad and every parent must avoid that.

The mindset of trying hard to amass so much wealth for one's children and unborn generations need to be put in checks. Such mindset is why our politicians loot public treasury and civil servants loot public funds at their reach. Even traders and artisans are not left out in the craze.

Let us focus on building a better country we can all be proud to bequeath to our children and unborn generations. Let us emulate the whites and learn from them about how to make legitimate wealth without looting what belongs to the public. If you observe, in the western countries, those who are super rich are those who add values to the society like inventors, artists, footballers and other sportsmen and women and genuine business men/women and when these rich whites die, they mostly will their wealths to charity because they understand that leaving such wealth to their children would rather make their children lazy instead fighting hard to create their own wealths and making names for themselves.

Let's stop raising children with entitlement mentality.
RomanceRe: My Wife Isn't Adding Any Value To My Life Part 2 by Jman06(m): 7:44pm On Mar 09
Op, what kind of wife did you set out to marry from the get go? A housewife or a working wife? This is something you should have decided even before marriage.

Men like you marry housewives and they don't complain. From the look of things, you just need to come to terms with the fact that you married a lady whose orientation is being a housewife. What you need to do now is to make sure she does her housewifery roles very well, like the idea of you doing your own laundry has to stop. Let her take up that responsibility and let that be the reason for you spending on her. You have to sit her down and make her understand that it's either she finds something doing to make money or she fully embrace her roles as housewife.

Man was so old he lost all skin color and turn poor white from head to toe, lost all teeth, his eyes literally disappeared into the eyes socket, only skin was attached to his bone, as of 2010 he was still living, we had to do call a doctor to do the needful when he literally was at the stage of not living or dead.
So, you killed your grandfather? Nawao! That's the kind of old age I don't want abeg

I am married and I also ask the same question.

They will say the child bears my name ,I even told my wife today ,make they child they beat her father's surname if it will reduced my expenses
Lol.... this reminds me of my argument with a babe here. She said that one of the reasons why men should carry the burden of providing for their wives is that she changed her surname to his. I then asked her if she'll be willing to carry that responsibility if I change to her own surname and she started the game of shaming me for not being a "real man". I just laughed

Believe such statistics at your own risk! Evidence around us shows that more families birth more female children than males! People just come up with fake statistics to make themselves feel better for whatever reason.

Why will I leave the succulent bodies, standing b00bs and topnotch fertile wombs of under 25 girls and marry the ENPs? Is it that I enjoy being accused of sterility when the ENP can't conceive for me due to menopause and fibroids or what? The truth is that no young man in his right senses would choose to marry any woman from 26 and above unless they have the ulterior motives of cashing out and using such women to achieve financial success.

Ladies in that age bracket should look for widowers or polygamous men to marry them. Alternatively, they can settle for the struggling guys out there who may want to be helped financially. Unfortunately, many women are too selfish to fancy the idea of helping their men financially, yet many of them fail to marry when the odds were still in their favour.

FamilyRe: The Life Cycle Of A Poor Child In Nigeria by Jman06(m): 9:44am On Mar 08
TheStoriesOfMan:
Fantastic!

But should the "rich, not so rich and poor" live above their capacity?

This is where life education comes in: to teach people to live within their means (reproduction included) and the consequences of a person trying to do the opposite.

Even the holy books of the religion we put high above our personal development says that moderation is the key.
Of course, there should be moderation just like in every other thing in life.
Again, parents should try to provide the basics for their children but the idea of making wealth and keeping for their children to enjoy is not very proper.

Children should be provided the basics like education, food, healthcare, shelter and so on. They should also be taught the ropes to making money. However, amassing money with the hope of keeping such for your children and grandchildren is not proper, especially when one has to loot public treasury and do all manner of evil just to make so much money for one's children.

FamilyRe: The Life Cycle Of A Poor Child In Nigeria by Jman06(m): 9:05am On Mar 08
One of the characteristics of living things as we were taught in basic biology is REPRODUCTION. People must reproduce no matter the length of epistle anyone posts discouraging people from giving birth!

The concept of rich or poor was created by men and using that as bases to determine who should reproduce or not is antinatalistic and unsustainable!

In life, both rich, the not so rich and the poor must continue to exist otherwise, life becomes monotonous, unenjoyable and meaningless. The good thing is that the three positions are not static as people can go from one to the other.

Nigerian doctors murder when they fail to follow standards of medical practice!
Enough is enough! More Nigerians have died from negligence on the part of medical doctors than those being saved!

Their arrogance and tendency to assume that they know it all is why they keep sending Nigerians to their early graves!

Imagine a hospital like Euracare that bills people to their last penny could not be diligent in their services to save the boy's life. Given the amount of money they charge in that hospital, one would think that they would have all facilities on ground such that there would be no need to refer any patient abroad.

That means you are not ready to end the bombardment of your people with Israeli and American missiles!

Iran must be made a secular state where the rights of women are respected and the people have religious freedom. To achieve this, a new order of leadership must be enthroned where responsible leaders who are not religious extremists are in power.

I support Donald Trump!

He failed to respect his wife May when he slept with Judy Austin and got her pregnant while still married to May. What other disrespect is bigger than thathuh
FamilyRe: What Women Bring To The Table In Marriage: Is It Worth It? by Jman06(m): 10:27pm On Mar 04
Reading through this write up, one would think that the children the woman spends time raising belong to the husband alone!

What actually happens in most marriages is that the lady (wife) uses the man (husband) to birth and raise her offsprings and at old age, she becomes the centre of care and love by the children! I most cases, the man would have died from years of labour to cater for the children while the woman lives to enjoy the children! That is what obtains in our society!

At old age, mama is the one who gets taken care of the more. She is the one who enjoys vacations abroad, proper medical care, assorted gifts of different kinds, omugwo visitations. She is the one who often lives to spend time with her grand children while the husband would have been long dead. Considering the above, isn't it obvious that children actually belong to the woman while the husband is only used to raise those children until they finish schools and start working? The children belong to their mothers!
