In my opinion, Fayose was wrong to enact such laws in the first place. The fulanis have the right to live and work in ekiti just like every other Nigerian. Why ban their business of cattle rearing when they have no other means? Why criminalize the fulanis as if all fulanis are killers? 1. I earned N100k monthly for five years. After spending on family needs and other things, I should have N20k left for savings.

2. The N20k I should keep on monthly basis in those five years, I didn't keep it but was using it on frivolities.

3. Suddenly my salary got reduced to N40k for some reason.

Will I still be able to provide for all the needs of my family as I used to when salary was N100k? Common sense should tell me and those around me that I will struggle BIG TIME while looking for alternative ways out.

Though, I can't speak for others but I can at least speak for myself.. I have HND in view and to the glory of God, I can confidently compete with any university student (area of specialization apart) without being sidelined. I have had the opportunity to do certain things with many university students and my influence is greatly being felt that it keeps them misconception they have for polytechnic students.

Both university and polytechnic students can both be half-baked, they can both be dumb heads, they can both be unproductive and unemployable in the labour market, they can both goof when put to test, they can both be grammatically deficient. In fact, an SSCE holder may even perform better than both of them

So, in a nutshell, a university graduate can be better than polytechnic graduate and vice versa

The fact that others were not privileged to attend a university is not enough reason to unjustly rule out discriminating conclusion just because you want to look superior in their presence

The question is not about B.sc better than Hnd but about acceptance and recognition worldwide.
My opinion is for all interested readers to google and read about the white paper that established polytechnic in Nigeria. That paper place the Hnd holders at middle level.
