I’ve said it times without number the idea of wingers that like to dribble and cannot cross is killing our game. The midfield issue should not be a crises situation. Use in-form midfielders that have the necessary skillset we need. |

Yea which is why my condition was as long as Napoli continue building better. typicalgamer: If osimehn stays it doesn’t guarantee that the core players will.
That’s the scenario we don’t want. For him to stay and during the summer kvara left, thier center backs midfield left too. Then what’s the point, aside juve No Italian team can keep a player if Europe’s elite comes knocking |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:47pm On Mar 21, 2023 |
Osimhen will exceed expectations even in the EPL. But what matters most is that he stacks up trophies. Napoli is improving and are playing better with Osimhen today. They are UCL title contenders, and should they win the Serie A and the UCL in the same year, it might just be the best place for him to stay. They need to keep building to be even better. Napoli is a big team, looking at history. This might just be time for a Napoli long reign, with Osimhen as the danger man reminiscent of Maradona era. There is nothing to prove in the EPL. Messi never went there but his worth is not debatable. |

I have towed this line long ago. You need fighting spirit in a team. No player should feel they will start or be invited no matter what, unless their performance speaks for them. typicalgamer: What I need is competition for spots.
For example even if ndidi doesn’t play a whole year he’ll still be picked for se making him feel unstoppable. Same goes for all our players aside osimehn.
Don’t let them feel comfortable, always bring in competition, so when they play they give thier all. Because these players have all been too familiar with super eagles |

He needs a good national team coach. He can remain in Napoli and let Napoli start stacking up trophies. Nothing wrong with that. lovewins: Lol. I literally just shared same sentiment now (EPL especially). Victor is a team player and needs a club with great team spirit, or like Wiz puts it "more love less ego". The best team that fits that profile right now is Arsenal.
Man city and PSG is a no no. Madrid could be great, but I sincerely do not fancy the La Liga except in Europe.
Of course the Man U team will be competitive, but I sincerely do not see them as title contenders next season (whether in Europe or EPL) even with Victor. |

Well said bro! I had to watch it again. That header he should have buried by his standards. chrisooblog: Just watched the highlights on youtube. Victor could easily have gotten a hattrick. The first chance he missed it unluckily hit the bar, second ball was quite high more like a half chance, third probably should have scored but keeper did well to put him off and finally fourth good save by keeper.
Funny the most difficult of chances on the night he scored |

The header may have been a little out of his reach. The one that hit the woodwork was a good attempt. Which one am I forgetting? BannedLarge: Very good goal from him but like I have said previously, Missing Sitters is one aspect of his game that he needs to improve tremendously. But, if he can keep missing sitters and scoring world class goals, I am content |
