I’ve been looking at other emerging midfielders and wingers as well but not much can be said. Blueelf: None for now
We no get at all
And that's why I am pissed that we may waste his best footballing years if we don't fix our midfield ASAP |

With the kind of content we are getting on this thread we can power the best football news source in Nigeria. It’s high time we started thinking of progressive initiatives instead of throwing hot plates of bitter leaf soup up and down.
We have the tiki taka analyst like GoodJoe. The man on top of all things regarding Nigerian prospects and also a good analyst of the game, Nerdie Basco who is elite in the domestic scene. I can go on… please add to the list let’s start this discussion |

If you don’t play you can’t score. Why is KC still up there in terms of games per goals ratio? If he went to some clubs he will ge guaranteed game time. Managers have their system and preferences. komekn: Vardy had been consistently CONSISTENT for a decade this is his first bad season in a decade , he has also had a few injuries and is still injured at 36 he is doing well.
KC had been consistently poor over past 6 seasons having only one good season in 2020/21, where he scored 12 in n the EPL ,Vardy scored 15 that season ,he scored 15 the season before that.
There had been no favouritism with Vardy just consistent continuous outstanding performance over a decade. So there is nothing like little patience. |

All those expecting KC to be consistent are expecting him to score in every game till the season ends. Something even Halaand will not do. Just give Iheanacho a run of games. And in drought, have a little patience like its done for Vardy. |

The Onuachu move didn’t sit well with me. May be premature to say after 2 games, but I don’t just feel it will work out. drDoom3: He left a team that was tailor made for him to a team in shambles. Nathan Jones, Southampton's coach, has to be sacked after this game. A goal + a man advantage and you still lose. |

Give us solution please. I’m not speaking that Nwakali deserves a call up. What’s your solution? komekn: I am not recommending league one players because I have higher expectations for the SE.
However, NWAKALI level his club and his segment of the Segunda division, is considerably below league one.
Let's have an objective appraisal not an emotive one based on perceptive preference.
Do you think that the lower segment of the Segundo division is better than English league one. And if yes substantiate your position please. Let me appreciate your point of view and if possible debunk it .
You ready , Ukodo is on the fire 🔥 cooking. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 3:03am On Feb 05, 2023 |
If you want to recommend league one players , go ahead. I’m waiting. komekn: My view is very simple unless you want to lower the bar to the point of blatant MEDIOCRITY and ineptitude.
Where the SE is concerned the name NWAKALI should not whispered.
That's why I asked you to tell me just one of the players I've mentioned in the past 5 years that he has done better than.
Let me inform you without prejudice, the core purpose of a footballer is to maximize his income to the very highest he can get in what is a very short term career.
In addition to play at the highest level possible all things being equal.
Money is intrinsically linked to the quality of a player, no matter what you say.
There are players in English national League who get paid more than him and many teams that would not consider him at that low level.
With regards to the bold the very best in the league are not very good at all. I reiterate beyond 4/5 place the rest teams will be fighting in English league two. |

1 ⚽️, 2 🅰️ vs Villa.
2 Goals, 3 assists in 2 EPL Starts (15 games).
Across all competitions: 4goals, 3 assists in 4 starts (21 games). |
