Chukwueze shoots less frequently this season than last season and also his movement into the 18 yard box is less than last season, he is becoming more of a team player and he's playing to his coach's instruction, left for Chukwueze he would take on more players and shoot more frequently than he does this season. That stats is for one game na, not the entire season. Chukwueze did have a good game today not only in attack. I don't want to use too much words, but he was impressive. The stats is indicative but if you watched the game you would agree with me. It's not like he was turning the opponents defense around all game long but he had impactful moments and was always a threat going forward. He came very close to scoring as well. He had the best pass success rate for ANY player who started.

This guy is performing way below his potentials yet some people are busy calling out Ighalo that has better stats..

Under Klopp, this guy would blossom ...I just know it. He has it in him but needs the right coach and environment

He didn't meet expectation is not the same as not meeting up to the hype. Two different things. You need to prove that it is a hype to start with. But you have failed to do that so far.

Joel was clearly the best Nigerian CM at the time. I remember we were in search of Midfielders to complement Ndidi. So my expectations were valid. That said, another question you will fail to answer, after the Poland OR Serbia game, what did I say?

I really had high hopes for Tega, he is player l have known for a long time. Particularly when he was Tottenham them the coaches were Ehiogu (RIP) Ferdinand and Ramsey all black. He was the stand out player in the U16/18 then.

This season he just did not meet those expectations. Same thing with Chuks Aneke but injury had not helped him.

Same way l had hope for Etebo, but he just couldn't move on and build upon his first season.

I guess people do not appreciate how hard the Championship is.
