your picks ahead of him is justified ChrisKels: He has been disappointing and has rightly fallen down the pecking order - I would pick Simoses, Ejuke and Kalu before looking his way in that super eagles left wing |

So far, I can say Onyekuru's positioning is quite poor. Poor at running into spaces for a pass. |

very civil response. Such should be encouraged here. cc12: Chukwueze shoots less frequently this season than last season and also his movement into the 18 yard box is less than last season, he is becoming more of a team player and he's playing to his coach's instruction, left for Chukwueze he would take on more players and shoot more frequently than he does this season. Don't worry the goals would come. |

That stats is for one game na, not the entire season. Chukwueze did have a good game today not only in attack. I don't want to use too much words, but he was impressive. The stats is indicative but if you watched the game you would agree with me. It's not like he was turning the opponents defense around all game long but he had impactful moments and was always a threat going forward. He came very close to scoring as well. He had the best pass success rate for ANY player who started. Blueelf: No goal or assist again and just 4 goals with 5 assists in 34 appearances for Villareal
This guy is performing way below his potentials yet some people are busy calling out Ighalo that has better stats..
Under Klopp, this guy would blossom ...I just know it. He has it in him but needs the right coach and environment |

Since you don't see a difference there is not point of me going on with this discussion. Danielnino00: There's no difference here.. He was hyped and ended up not delivering... Same with Bryan Idowu..
I said "some people " .. Were u among them ? |

He didn't meet expectation is not the same as not meeting up to the hype. Two different things. You need to prove that it is a hype to start with. But you have failed to do that so far. You said some people said..., so I had to put that question to you. Danielnino00: Butoom line: he didn't live up to the hype in the GWG....
What do you say after the game ? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:24pm On Jun 27, 2020 |
Joel was clearly the best Nigerian CM at the time. I remember we were in search of Midfielders to complement Ndidi. So my expectations were valid. That said, another question you will fail to answer, after the Poland OR Serbia game, what did I say? Danielnino00: I also stated that he was doing well in the SerieA..
You just placed too much expectations on him even before his recall... Even after the games against Poland and Serbia, some people were like "it was because he didn't play with Mikel" .. |

haha. I enjoy your humor.. But I have clearly stated Joel Obi was putting up good performances in the Serie A at the time. So did I make any exaggeration considering what we paraded in the SE's defensive midfield at that time? Answer this simple question. Danielnino00: I should quite you? Because of a post you made in 2018?
Oga, we remember it very well..
You hyped him so much that somebody wondered if your name was Joel Obi(Joe-Obi) too |

With my eyes on the Segunda League because of the prospects of several Nigerians getting promoted with their clubs to the top tier, Huesca will lock horn with Real Zaragoza Monday. So it's Nwakali VS Igbekeme. Zaragoza will host the tie. Hopefully both players will get to play a part in the match this time as they spent the entirety of their last league match on the bench. |

Yes but when the players dash your hopes you still have to say it as it is. Youth football belongs where it belongs. komekn: I really had high hopes for Tega, he is player l have known for a long time. Particularly when he was Tottenham them the coaches were Ehiogu (RIP) Ferdinand and Ramsey all black. He was the stand out player in the U16/18 then.
This season he just did not meet those expectations. Same thing with Chuks Aneke but injury had not helped him.
Same way l had hope for Etebo, but he just couldn't move on and build upon his first season.
I guess people do not appreciate how hard the Championship is. |
