That’s the point they are pained because Billing turned Nigeria forgetting that players have also opted to play for us. Or is Nigeria the best country in the world that all of them must choose Nigeria. Afobear: |
I compared the stats. It was clear where Ndidi had an edge. I highlighted aerial duels that that’s what Billing could bring to the team. Besides Billing has played more as a CM. Every player with such stats have a chance to compete. That makes a team stronger. But if all my quotes are digged up it will expose yeye talk here. A couple occasions I stressed IF he made the switch he would be a good addition. Make una dig my quotes one by one and compare it to the rubbish u are spewing. andrewbaba44: |
Jordan Torunarigha makes WhoScored Bundesliga Team of the Week |
Bigger than the national team? They never played for us at junior level so it makes no sense. It will be more appropriate for Denmark and England to say that if we had gotten both players to switch Danielnino00: |
I’m waiting for you to substantiate your claims by quoting me. Or is that you are so emotional by Billings comments. Get over your emotions and apply some critical thinking here. daveP: |
If I give u assignment to quote me after 5 years u no go fit still submit the assignment. Billing did well to explain why he feels 100% danish. He probably never been to Nigeria. I wonder his relationship with his father. Does he share the same paternity with his siblings? I wonder. It’s very understandable and normal to have affinity for one nation over another. It surprises me when people feel slighted by such remarks. The only thing he feels Nigerian about is that his father is Nigerian. That’s says a lot. That said, if he had chosen us, he would have been a good addition to SE. since that is not to be we move on and keep looking to always improve the team. Danielnino00: |

Ranking every Bournemouth player A-GRADE Philip Billing: A wrecking ball who’s in danger of manning the midfield in a relegated team for the second-straight season. And, again, it would not be his fault. Team-leading 65 tackles for the club’s easy POTY —nbcSports |
Make una dey drink panadol for Gernot Rohr. SE will neither play gengenpress nor Guiardiola football. It’s just like saying he will bench his regulars for newbies abi? |

We continue with the rest of Bundesliga matches played today. KOLN 2-2 MAINZ Taiwo Awoniyi backed up his readiness pronouncement before the resumption of the league by starting Mainz's fight back 5 minutes after he was subbed-in in the second half. Awoniyi showed great vision to connect a cross from close range despite being under pressure from a challenging defender and keeper to beat. Taiwo was denied twice on two other occasions as he tried to score the game winner. He completed a 100% pass success rate and was only dispossessed once for the period he lasted on the pitch. WhoScoredRating: 7.35 New Super Eagles invitee Kingsley Ehizibue lost his starting spot to Benno Shmitz at RB in Koln's match-day squad. The 25 year old German who was not convincing during the game later made way for Ehizibue rather late in the 83rd minute. FC Koln will have to consider bringing the Nigerian back to their starting line up considering they let 3 points slip by failing to hold on to a 2 goal lead. WhoScoredRating: 6.08 UNION BERLIN 0-2 BAYERN Forgotten Eagle forward, Anthony Ujah, led Union Berlin's attack as they welcomed German powerhouse, Bayern Munich. Ujah lasted 71 minutes failing to hit target after making two attempts. Ujah won 5 aerial duels from 12 attempted -- the only highlight of his performance. WhoScoredRating: 6.34 Sulleiman Abudullahi was unlisted by Union Berlin |

AUGSBURG 1-2 WOLFSBURG A 65th minute tactical entry for Felix Uduokhai(CB) almost paid off two minutes later, but the center back had his goal disallowed by VAR for offside. Sarenren Bazee(RW) who has already committed to the Super Eagles was introduced on the 87th minute but could not influence the outcome as Wolfsburg scored the winner in the dying minutes of the encounter. WhoScored Rating 6.07 and 5.89, respectively |
Final Score: FORTUNA 0-0 PADERBORN Uwe Hünemeier may have been the star in Paderborn's defense, but Jamilu Collins(LB) did his bit in helping the visitors steal a draw. Although dispossessed twice in the encounter, Jamiliu made 84 touches and had a 73% pass success rate. He complete 1 tackle out of the same number attempted, and could only succeed in winning 1 out of 3 aerial duels. WhoScored Rating: 6.26 |

Final Scores : HOFFENHEIM 0- 3 HERTHA Kevin Akpoguma(CB) had a game to forget. He was a liability in all 3 goals conceded by Hoffenheim. The first goal came off his own boots while he failed to clear his lines in the 58th minute. He was caught ball watching instead of marking his man more closely for the second goal. Caught out of position at right back, he was turned inside and out by Matheus Cunha who had received a pass from Jordan Torunarigha. The Brazilian ran all the way to score the visitor's third. WhoScoredRating: 5.74 Coincidentally, in the opposing side, Jordan Torunarigha(CB) also wore the number 25 shirt, and added to Akpoguma's misery by providing the assist for Hertha Berlin's third goal. Jordan contributed immensely to Hertha's away win with 94% pass accuracy, two of which were Key passes, and 3 aerials won. Jordan was the 4th highest ranked player on the pitch. WhoScoredRating: 7.80 |
So let's take a look at how Nigerian players fared in the restart of the Bundesliga today. Final Scores : RBL 1-1 FREIBURG Ademola Lookman(LW) was a 46th minute sub-in for Liebzig while they were trailing by a goal to visiting Frieburg. He missed a sitter in the 55th minute that would have drew his team level. He was not only the culprit for the homers as his team could not make his 3 key passes count, although they finally leveled the tie in the 76th minute. Ademola Lookman who is rumored to have already tendered an application to switch allegiance to Nigeria finished as the joint second in total shots. He made 29 successful passes out of 43 attempted, 1 successful dribble and 2 successful tackles. WhoScoredRating: 6.82 |
