If y'all don't know yet, kindly note, this team, group of boys are the new Golden Age....much have been said about the 94 team, well brace yourself ladies and gents, not only are we winning this cup, but we are doing a back-back....you heard it first.... Infact I'm seeing us again in d finals but the results are inconclusive atm.....

I'm expecting both youngsters will get the nod very soon. You can kind of tell when Ighalo and Musa will perform or not after 60 mins. nairalandankrah: “We have nine strikers in the team, played seven but we cannot play all of them at the same time. The young are also here to learn. “Out of 23 players, 20 players have played already which is a lot and I hope we can see the other two [Osimhen & Onyekuru]. “It is difficult for the third goalkeeper coming in. - ROHR....... brace up guys... Something big is about to happen |

The difference between Nigeria and Algeria is only the former has had a wake up call in this tournament. Also Algeria has beaten the team that beat us. So they will be coming into this game feeling superior. That’s exactly the mindset we want them to have in order for us to beat them |

I no join the elders o. U know say I be youngee for here I think it’s unrealistic to expect all to argue intelligently. Just take a look at our society today. This thread is a subset of that. It also takes people skill to handle those monkers that are not civil. As regards the NT, we have players who may not be at the top yet, but have massive potential. That coupled with their unity and strong belief has seen us get to this stage of the AFCON — Thanks to Rohr. We can’t boast of beautiful all round play, but we do the needed when it matters most. I don’t know how long this team have to be together to start playing the way I would like gen to play, but what matters most at the end of the day, is trophies. Let believe in this team till they lift the cup. 2 matches to go. 4th AFCON title loading... darkelf: I am a Bonafide Nigerian and I love the Super Eagles
In the beginning, I had doubts about this team but they are gradually winning me over with their attitude on the field of play
But I know one fact; everybody cannot say positive things about the Super Eagles all the time. We are created different and we think differently.
Hence, it only makes sense to respect the opinions of others no matter how silly they may sound.
Granted, we give each other a hard time here by yabbing and making jokes about our wrong predictions and what nots but this should never degenerate to insults.
Some of us here have a hard time swallowing the opinions of others and cannot make intelligent arguments without insulting the other party. Times without number, I have called out some of these people. While some apologize and retract their statements, others remain adamant and choose not to admit their wrongs.
I want to believe we all possess a level of intelligence to converse on this thread and what differentiates the mature minds from kids is the ability to question opposing arguments with facts and without rude remarks.
I am calling on us especially those of us who are elders to act accordingly:
You don't have to reply every rude remark.
You are not in control of the other persons thoughts and opinions; positive and negative
I also want to believe that you (the agggressor) don't feed the aggressee neither do you clothe or pay his house rent . So the person can oppose you when he wants albeit intelligently.

We seem to have improved dealing with dead ball situations. I think that's the only area they stand a chance against us. lexyman: this AFCON is different , a lot of history has been re written ... And as it stands they have been OTEDOLA And Dangote has promised the boys another 75kusd per goal ... another Motivation just expect 3-1 or 4-1 |

They will be our practice match for Tunisia in the finals. lexyman: they have tried , i wit them to reach the Semifinal , so as to match the record of Cape Varde but as it stands i don't think so cos the Tunisian guys are using them to learn tactics |

abegi i no believe in all those stats. wetin consain SA consain Algeria. We will beat Algeria again. I didn't want us to meet CIV cuz we play similar. Mickael2: Well a little history here lads.
In the Afcon qualifiers we lost the first match 2-0 to South Africa then drew the return leg 0-0 and when we met we beat them 2-1. Now during the world cup qualifiers we beat Algeria in the first leg 3-1 and drew the return leg 1-1 that's a difference 1 goal for each team (compared to the SA results), now if history repeats itself like it has been repeating itself in this AFCON then that match will be 3-2 in favour of Algeria.
Also the last time we beat South Africa in an Afcon we ended up losing the next match on penalties(that was in 2000).
OK let me run away before people come for my head |

Rohr has his good sides. But he is not a good match reader.. He needs better assistants. It's gonna be hard to say he should go.. You don't change what is working.. He has given us results so far, when it mattered most. |

YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE BOLDED, BUT CHILL LET US SAVOR THIS VICTORY. ykalhaji: Even with this result, Rohr is a good coach but he doesn't have the "IT" factor, he can't read games in real time and make game changing or saving adjustments in real time, him and his companion coaching our women are just above average. |
