I didn’t move away from the subject matter which is a comparison between Iorfa and the three Bundesliga defenders.

The 3 are lions in their own right. This is not their first season in the Bundesliga, and they have represented their respective sides well. Iorfa is a Championship player until he kicks a ball in the Premier League, which is most likely not going to happen this season. I won’t be surprised finding him in the second tier again very soon.

komekn:
Firstly, you have moved away from the subject matter. Which was the current form of Dominic Iorfa. i gave you a number of examples to debunk the issue of form.

Is it not remarkable that a Championship teenager was called to train with the England senior team. Back to my never ending proposition, "Better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than a mouse in higher league,"

Some players choose a lower league and some players have no choice it is not definitive of quality.

You made another assertion that Dominic has always been a Championship player ,I would say he chose in his misplaced loyalty to Wolves after several EPL clubs had made formal bids. However, that is the past.

Nonetheless, your assertion is wrong because he is on the list of players registered by Wolves as part of their squad so he s a EPL player not Championship. It is possible he can still play for Wolves any suspensions and injuries and they will eat their pride and call him back.

The issue of superiority of the Bundesliga is a never ending debate and that is not the issue , the issue is player competency and ability, is the question. None of these three German Nigerian players have played as many games as him, some not even half.

Is your conclusion based on the fact they play in the Bundesliga that is not the basis to determine over all quality, that is being superficial.

Iorfa has always been a championship player. There is no basis for comparison. Don’t come with that your championship is better than Bundesliga talk again

komekn:
Firstly, he is excluded not because of form but football politics.

When Costa was dropped at Chelsea did anyone say his form had dropped. When Sakho did not play for near 3/4 months at Liverpool after falling out with Klopp. It didnt diminish his pedigree as soon as he arrived at Crystal Palace he effectively saved them from relegation was thier stand out player in defence.

Quite remarkably he has been the stand out player in thier U23's so much so he was rated far higher than the player they bought to replace him. Despite outstanding performances he is ignored.

So without prejudice there is nothing to say his form has dropped.

His contract expires in the summer and they may refuse to let him go on loan or sell him. Because he refused to renew his contract. That is another dimension clubs sometimes in sheer "bad belle" refuse to play because they can not make any money on you.

When they were all playing were any of them ahead of him statistically speaking or otherwise . So how in the past four months did they over take him.

Finally, in conclusion the reality is that all football is speculation it's not absolute science with empirical results.

But you are speculating as well especially as we cannot ascertain Iorfa’s current form. It is not out of place for me to say the trio are all better than Iorfa

komekn:
I would never disagree with notion of " Present Continous " however there are very clear extenuating circumstances.

Which l have gone into with some depth in the past about those unfair circumstances that even prompted a FA investigation into the affairs of Wolves.

The issue is football politics not ability.

If you can recall on of our best defenders was Danny Shittu frozen out for two years at Bolton. Came and partners very effectively with Yobo. Left Bolton and was voted Best Defender in the Championship.

But back to the three Germans were they better than him before or currently because they have been paid in the past 3/4 months.

I am simply not convinced it's speculative and not proven.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 3:56pm On Jan 10, 2019
I have posted the awards won by Egypt in 2018 already. The facts is clear.

I also listed the nominations for 2018 in another post. They didn’t win any but were in contention in most hotel categories. What does that tell you? How many nominations did a Nigerian hotel get? How many Nigerian hotels were nominated? Are u paying attention to the categories in each case?

You are still on this ACI case. Okay, did you read the description of the award Abuja airport won? It’s not neceaaarily the best airport in terms of safety but the best improved airport in safety. Are u telling me u didn’t get what I said earlier or you are simply pretending?

forgiveness:
Since you are quick to tag Fraser hotel 2017 award past glory, is it not convenient to say Egypt's hotels are past glory? If not show me any Egyptian hotel that has won world luxury hotels award, world travel awards, etc in 2018. Let see if you will still grasp for straw.

As it stands, Nigeria's hotels are winning these awards ahead of Egypt's hotels. Gbam!

Note; I don't want restaurant or food categories awards.

Comparing ACI award with WTA is like comparing FIFA categories awards to CAF categories awards. Fela say 'no bi saaaamu category ooooo.. cati..go..... category...'

ACI award is the zenith in aviation industry. I say you no sabi anything.

Abuja won the ACI award in 2018 ahead of Cairo international airport.

Thy are all better than Iorfa. “Present continuous” — remember?
komekn:
There is a clear double standard, don't you think ❓ Akpoguma, Uduokhai and Jordan Torunarigha are three players the NFF have pursued relentlessly who have shown public disinterest from the start. But Iorfa who has shown public interest from the start we rejected or pushed aside.

Akpoguma has been honourable and very open and unambiguous throughout. He simply was never interested he made that clear in the beginning.

However, we still continued to pursue him relentlessly, Why ❓

All three of the German defenders can not be said to be better than Dominic Iorfa.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie:
You had said Nigerian hotels are winning awards ahead of Egyptian hotels. That’s a lie. More Egyptian hotels have been intentionally recognized till date. There is a reason for the categories. Meaning you are making comparisons based on the category of the hotel. Fraser hotels can serve certain purposes but not all purposes. But the fact that the the hotels in Egypt covered a wider range of categories that clearly paints the picture
of who is clearly ahead in terms of hospitality. Same can be said when we move to other infrastructure. Your earlier statement was very misleading. Congrats to Fraser regardless (But what happened in 2018? Past glory)

Only small people take arguments personal and resorts to personal insults. It is clear who has an issue with self esteem from our long argument.

The Cairo international airport which u have been trying to downgrade is the 2nd largest airport in Africa and has gotten multiple norminations in the World Travel Awards. We dey talk of airport that has been in top standard for over a decade now. What reputation does Abuja airport have besides winning the best airport in terms of improvement in safety? Make we talk truth. We are still trying to get things together. These countries are ahead of us.

https://www.worldtravelawards.com/profile-306-cairo-international-airport

forgiveness:
Does it change the fact that you don't know anything?

Did these hotels win World travel awards?

Did they win at the global stage?

Let me see if you can comprehend at all with this snapshot.

Give it up.

Your bolded is exactly the same reason many of u give to these FBs, stating that they would regret their action for turning us down. In reality, some of them won’t. That is the case of Akpoguma. Let’s be realistic. I don’t think the idea of playing for Nigeria is attractive to some of them even if it means having no international career.

Modified
For me Akpoguma was a no go area before this moment. Only Uduokhai of the 3 German born defenders fancy Nigeria at least.

Curtisaxel7:
Holy Christ Almighty! What the hell is this?.
