Ehen? Nigerian never fail medical abi? Mickael2: I believe a Ghanian has failed his medical before? I can't recall who though |

That your last line get as e be. Mickael2: Absolutely the worst transfer of this period by far . Barca in need of a backup striker goes ahead to buy KPB who is not an out and out striker ahead of Ighalo who is actually a proven goalscorer in a top league, I mean I understand that Ighalo's agents pointed out that he doesn't want a loan move but a permanent move and that is more than what Barca are asking for but come on, KPB ?? I know it is a done deal but I pray that stuff doesn't go through, maybe he fails his medical or something, you never know what you will get with these Ghanaians and their banku |

That’s essentially my point isan: akpeyi and ezenwa will never really push uzoho hard for the no1 shirt if Alampasu keep playing he should be given a chance |

Many players have put in good performances at one time in the past. But it has to be present continuous top performance. It’s not like he was top notch at the WCQs. He did the needed though. Icon4s: Have you rather for once questioned why he was 3rd choice considering his performances during the WCQ? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:25pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
We are not expecting Rohr’s list soon. I just dey talk my mind atm. We will meet again next weekend lol. Icon4s: So cool down and watch the young man perform first before the clamor for invitation. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:22pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
I will always criticize his invitation. A third choice keeper in the NPFL at the time should not be getting a National team call up. It sets a wrong precedence. Icon4s: Are you by any means referring to Ezenwa. Do you know the years of experience that Bros has acquired both in club Football and the national team?
Ikechukwu Ezenwa is a proven SE Goalkeeper and will always get a call up. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:19pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
It’s not like our next AFCON qualifier would be played tomorrow. Icon4s: Which double standards? Bros cool down. This is Alampasu's first game in about 2yrs. Let's hope he gets another opportunity next game and subsequent games. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:17pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
I’m saying even some minutes. We’ve had keepers who didn’t even feature for one minute in club football. So what makes them better now? we put faith in them regardless. Keep the completion fierce, it would bring out the best in all of them. Icon4s: Who set that standard? Some minutes? Or u probably meant some games? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:14pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Let’s not apply double standards here. We all criticized Ezenwa’s invitation in the past. Icon4s: That was a decision taken in desperation. We are not under such a situation now.
Let us see Alampasu play more games first and then we know whether he deserves a call up or not. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:11pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Going by the standard set in the past any GK who gets some minutes in top flight football should EASILY get an invitation, coupled with the fact that we don’t really have SOLID options. I’ve always canvassed for new competition when necessary. Icon4s: With just this one game or with the expectation that he will play more games? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:08pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Like Uzoho was doing pre-WC. Icon4s: Bros relax and let Alampasu play more games and probably pin down that first team shirt first. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:06pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Una don forget how Uzoho go WC abi. Our GK department is far from competitive. Wake up to the reality. andrew444: The sentimental squad have arrived aka anywhere belle face after just one game |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 11:05pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Yes that’s the point. Uzoho was benched in his last game. Although Uzoho is ahead, Alampasu only needs more games to stake a claim to the number one shirt. But Rohr decides at the end. Alampasu deserves a recall to to the SE though. tbaba1234: Hopefully, he keeps playing till the end of the season. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:59pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
This na top-flight game na. Where is Uzoho playing again, remind me? Icon4s: Here we go again. From just one game? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:56pm On Jan 20, 2019 |
Now Uzoho has real competition. tbaba1234: Alampasu with a world class save to keep the scores level.. 90 minute save.
He might have just gotten his team a point. quality save |

Icon4s: Nigerian teams have mostly been known to always make good their home advantage.
But by and large we hope Wydad would suffer from a terrible away form. |

And when Wydad visits as well Icon4s: What of away draws? If u can't win away at least share the spoils. That game in Abidjan on paper was Lobi's least difficult away game.
God help them when they visit Wydad and Sundowns. |

Tiago Ilori and Ovie Ejaria both started. However Aluko came on from the bench on the 66th and scored Reading’s consolation goal.
Modified Ovie provided the assist.
