For goodness sake, these players chose this career path for one major reason(the pay), the fun part of it is secondary. So if u were in Ebere Eze's, u would decline the English call for risible reason that u are waiting for a Nigerian call up. So as a professional (say architect), u are torn between two job offers, one from ur state and another from Abia. While ur state keeps over looking u for some less competent guys, fortunately u get a call up from Abia that uv been hired, u would confidently turn down Abia just to prove ur loyalty to ur so called state who has been neglecting u? Den, u go home and tell ur family u gotta stay till ur state offer comes up? Dude u are funny.

Eagles Would Present A Strong Squad Against Seychelles–Rohr

Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has assured that a strong squad would be assembled for the team’s last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in Nigeria.

“We would still present it’s best squad for the Seychelles game even if it has qualified before then, noting that the game would be used to continue to develop the team and prepare for the Nations Cup.

The Eagles defeated the Pirates at home 3-0 with goals from Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa and chidozie Awaziem.

Rohr has assured home-based players of the opportunity to play for the national team provided their performance can better the ones already in the team.

Rohr stated this at the presentation of a two-wheeler to him by the Simba Group at Sheraton Hotel on Tuesday night.

While stating that some local stars have been penciled down for invitation in the near future, he however lamented that it is impossible to bring in the local players at this time because the league has been on a long recess.

“The home-based players will get their chance in the team if they can show that they are better than the ones currently in the team. But the players are not playing regularly so they can be in the national team,” he added.

He urged Nigerians to be patient with Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, who he described as the best for now. He also said he would give another goalkeeper a look-in if the goalkeeper trainer gives the go ahead.

“I think we should give Uzoho a chance even if he makes mistakes in games because as a young player, he is the solution for the future. He need everyones support and we will give him all the backing he need to excel.

“Just like we gave odion Ighalo another chance after making mistakes, I guess Uzoho also needs to be given the time to blossom. The goalkeeping position is a delicate one and we don’t need to change goalkeepers all the time,” the coach told Sportinglife.ng.

He also lamented the unavailability of more suitable playing Stadia in Nigeria, adding that the team would like to play in Abuja and Lagos.

She used to throw the remote and stuffs on our old LCD and Plasma tvs, with little impact, but she didn't realized that the screens on those new OLED tv are much more fragile than the LEDs and LCDs.

During the world cup final, a fan invaded the pitch.did u think FIFA and the organizing committee didn't put enough measures in place to prevent such ? in some league games in Europe fans usually throw objects into the pitch and uefa are constantly dishing out fines and stadium bans to clubs over fans violence..
I'm not making any excuse as far as fans invasion on the pitch is concerned... it's common every where....

Over excitement can make people do crazy things .. Crowd invasion on the pitch is quite common in "organized" countries too. Check championship play offs.....

Nna, I weak o. And it was the best TV I have ever purchased - A Sony XBR-85X850F 85" Smart LED 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR! This TV goes for over well $5000, but I got it for a liquidation price at Best Buy for $3850 plus taxes. And KAPUT - it went just like that!! And I didn't even watch it for 6 months either!
