Success should lead the line. Iheanacho as SS komekn: Agreed without reservation.
He has done nothing beyond score one senior professional goal.in his entire career.
You are better off with a lower league striker who is scoring regularly. |

Not outstanding either. But like I said it’s too early to say. I hope you change your narratives if he fails this time around. Past remains in the past. Quality is present continuous.. no be so? forgiveness: 1 goal in 4 matches. Which one be struggle? |

Don’t settle for less. That should be our mentality. We know good stuff. We should either match it or beat it. That should be Nigeria. Danielnino00: Its not always that bad... The picture quality is at best normal.. can't say for d audio sha... |

the coach demands physicality. Are you saying with Sadiq’s guile he cannot pull it off? If not that Kanu played in the EPL I believe you would have said he won’t be able to cope there. Or are you saying the SPL is better than the Serie A? komekn: Absolute Balderdash.
Once again you have allowed irrational emotive negative prejudice to befuddle your reasoning.
Firstly, I know Gerrard personally and he is not racist. Neither is Beale his assistant.
Then secondly if he was, why is the first name on his team sheet Oviemuno Ejaria. I could count the multiple number of black players he was trying to get into Rangers but that would be over kill.
A long time ago I pointed out the deficiencies in Umar Sadiq's game. My conclusions then we're that he would struggle in League one, it seems he would struggle at an event lower level.
The English game as well as the Scottish games are physically intensive. His supposed physicality is an assumption not proven. He excelled if you can call it that in the Italian and Belguim league. But this league may be too much for him.
As for racism see news clip below.
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/09/25/could-umar-sadiq-soon-face-pressure-from-rangers-starlet-dapo-me/
With regards to his performance there is a widespread view he is not good enough.
https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/09/27/do-could-umar-sadiq-leave-rangers-as-early-as-january/
But then this is football, he can still improve there is a chance. But he has a lot of work to do and the other players are not sitting down looking at him. |

No be struggle “Abrahams” dey since joining Villa. You may tear up the Championship 2 years ago, there is still no guarantee. Think Imoh Ezekiel who is suppose to be bossing the Jupiter League based on his exploits there several years ago. Well it’s too early to say. Make we siddon look. But coaches have their preferences just like in the National team. komekn: Is this the same Sadiq Umar a number were comparing to Tega Abrahams and Ighalo and said he was better.
I remember saying that this guy would struggle in League one, maybe I overestimated his attributes.
When I talked about him I was harassed with a barrage of the usual vitriolic rhetoric from the sentimental emotive brigade.
I don't have to say anything more do ❓ |

You know they have always been saying something. Let’s see something on ground. Too early to talk about deals with NFF when their track record is as bad as nonexistent DrLikita12: They said they've sorted out some issues and they're back. I would only recommend them if they are the only viable option tbh. I'm not sure how many customers they have or if they are being honest about the issues they had- I'd rather give them time to settle down and then watch their progress. |

Is TSTV even operating? Icon4s: I did not even propose the NTA. I said I would prefer they strike a deal with Star times or TSTV for like 3-4 channels that will air live matches. DSTV is already loaded with different leagues and so the NPFL may not get more than one live game per week like the previous years with them. |

TSTV? Is there something I don’t know? Danielnino00: Most TV stations in Nigeria usually focus on one major aspect of broadcasting : news and entertainment mostly.. That's why we have satellite TVs... Again, most TV stations in Nigeria will rather show a political rally than to broadcast a football game..
The best option is for LMC to strike another deal with supersport or like chief icon4s said, let them contact star times or tstv for that... |

Does komekn even fancy Kayode? Danielnino00: Simmy was invited because he was at the world.cup. And he went to the world cup cus he merited it. Let Kayode score a goal first...
You are always taking this Kayode issue too serious and at the same time you are always defending Ighalo.. Now let me ask you, if Kayode gets invited for the Libya game, should Ighalo be dropped?? |

Kai. That was my way of saying a whole Nigeria has no TV station that is capable of broadcasting our league with average quality at least. Danielnino00: It doesn't necessarily have to be a national TV station. Most Nigerians don't even watch our national stations like before .. They should revisit their deal with supersport. that's the best option for now... |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:02pm On Sep 28, 2018 |
How good is the NTA broadcast to start with? Icon4s: Just a sinle national station means one match per day. And two per weekend which is not enough.
The NPFL should be able to strike a deal with either StarTimes or TST to have at least 3-4 dedicated channels for the NPFL so we can have more options of viewing different games from different venues. |

On your 4th point, is there a national TV station that can deliver on this? Danielnino00: The aiteo cup is being played on a neutral venue that's why... However, away win is possible in the league if the clubs and lmc can fix four problems
1) Provide air transport for their team.. Road transport is risky and exhausting 2) Provide adequate security at match venue...even better to install fences between d stands and the pitch to stop fans violence against away teams 3) Install better pitches 4) LMC should secure a better broadcasting right than the one they have with nta so we can be sure when dubious calls are being made during away games by the referees... |

We have been singing “potential” for several decades now, and even countries that were not seen as having potential have been able to create something out of nothing. We need to wake up to the reality that there is far more to having talents and resources. I don’t sing the praise of these performances for two reasons: 1. Nigeria did not put much into these girl’s careers. 2. We should have achieved the feat of winning a game at this stage long before now. We are Nigeria! And that’s suppose to be a positive thing going by our talents and potentials. However, when we say we are Nigeria, we know who we really are and that we lack a positive national identity. Danielnino00: Well, well..
Its over!
USA win..
Still very proud of the.ladies.. They showed determination... Their performance at the world cup is further proof that Nigeria has the.potential to excel well in sports... What we need is more funding.. |

GBAM Icon4s: A good write up with valid points.
But my take is there should be no automatic shirt for any player, whether foreign born, Ex-U17 MVP or Golden boot winner or what ever. They are all Nigerians irrespective of where they were born. They play in Europe and so should be assessed on the same level playing field which is based on performance index. And then only those we think have something to offer to improve the team should be invited. |
