Lol
safarigirl:
Iheanacho comes off for Albrighton, after being absolute shitt and looking every bit like a bag of beans. For all the playing time Puel is giving him and after rescuing him from Man City's bench, you'd think he could at least try to put in some decent effort in the Leicester City shirt. Watching him is incredibly uninspiring and there is no justification why someone that shitty should be making some cool cash from football, he is only useful in an FPL team.

That is basically, a summarised version of Iheanacho's 65 minutes on the pitch today according to Twitter cheesy

Na true sha. That FA cup when they had a fairytale run.

It is something to laugh about.

But then statistics don't lie, striker strongest player in world football. I watched him a few years ago destroy Liverpool Central defender even out skilling them.

He is very ugly but still VERY EFFECTIVE.

That’s the point. We follow them at their clubs with the hope that their fine form can be translated to the GWG. That’s why we are here. Check the title of the thread.

Shehu missing from Bursaspor’s matchday squad. They welcome Ankarqgucu in the Turkish Super Lig.

Don’t we check NPFL players? Someone is responsible for that. You can also champion the report of certain players.

andrew444:
Good question

I could only mention emem eduok goal only

Sorry bro nobody mention their goal here okay as our focus is on some other players and not any of them

We even check the Saudi Arabia league then to check any of those players

Of course u will say it is off point when it counters what u are saying.

The fact he died in the shirt means we should take it serious and make sure whoever wears it will do it justice. If u don't understand that then we should end the convo because I am not good at talking to brick walls..
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 12:00pm On Oct 06, 2018
They didn’t rate him highly but they tried to get him to rescind his decision in the last minute. I don’t owe Iwobi’s growth to SE. Granted he did not deserve a call up to SE But I’m glad we went for him although it shouldn’t be the standard.
Sir you know England have become more aggressive in their recruiting. There are far more Nigerians in their teams than before, why is that?

komekn:
Actually if the truth mist be told he was not rated highly he played 1 game for England at U18 level and he was 17 then and three games at U17 level.

All this talk that the English FA were begging him Iwobi to play is simply fantasy.

Iwobi got recognition from playing for the SE at this stage he had not played for Arsenal first team. He was an academy player when he got his first senior cap in the SE.

The influence of his uncle in the situation can not be overlooked.

We have a young Nigerian in the name of Josh Maja who is now at age 19 the highest goal scorer in league one. So when a premiership team then buys him that's when we we will call him. Same thing follows for Ebere Eze.

Outstanding performance should be the bench mark not past youthful glories.

Both these players came to the SE party to train in London. They committed but the NFF officials have shown zero commitment. Commitment is an action in both words and deeds. In this context the NFF have done nothing.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:45am On Oct 06, 2018
They have way too many at their disposal. We just need to be ahead of them in spotting the best. It would take close monitoring. Somebody is busy talking about they need us more than we need them, instead of us focusing on what is in it for us.

komekn:
This is just a handful of the Nigerian origin players that play in football academies in England.

I can say this without contradiction there is no EPL academy that doesn't have Nigerian origin players. There are too many too mention.

There is a Nigerian origin midfielder in Everton, Dennis knocking on the first team door. Will he make it, I simply do not know.

your example of a falling hero does not add anything to the discussion. It’s off point, except of course you are trying to equate it with patriotism. So what was the point bringing in Okwaraji?
BascoVanVeli:
So in your personal dictionary patriot and fallen hero are the same thing abi? Please if you don't have any valid points let us just end this because u are just running in circles.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:37am On Oct 06, 2018
It’s not a logical argument in the first place.
Their chances in SE should also depend on how good they are consistently.

Modified
Aluko posted great games for us. He should never have been forgotten.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:24am On Oct 06, 2018
So if for example a dual national dies playing for Nigeria does it make him more patriotic than the one who didn’t die? Dying on the field is an accident. Leave it at that. Your idea of patriotism is an illusion.

Tell us about the promise. Was there one in the first place?

Modified
Okwaraji is a fallen hero because he died WHILE SERVING THE NATION. It could have been someone else maybe Vic Moses — someone many of u call unpatriotic
BascoVanVeli:
Even a soldier can die outside of war but does that mean we take it for granted when they die defending their country?

First u agree that a player should break his promises and now u want us to forget about our fallen hero because he could have died somewhere else. Wehdone sir!!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:19am On Oct 06, 2018
they have more access to the said players than we do because they practically groomed them. Hence, they utilized more of them than we did at various age levels. Let’s be logical how many of the said dumped players deserved a recall? All the Nigerian players that have once been invited and forgotten, would u say we also dumped them? We are talking “one passport” Nigerians now.

Modified
It’s an unfair comparison because we haven’t been able to get a lot of the said players to play for us in the first place.

maidaboi:
did i lie that england has more dumb players than us?

Great wetin? Hahahaha
Show me your patriotism. No be talk
BascoVanVeli:
Don't tell me that. Samuel Okwaraji died on the field of play representing this great country, anyone who puts on our jersey must really want to represent us, the end.

You can never know how a player will turn out. This is why England stay on top of their development. How many players’ careers has Nigeria made? On the other hand, What progress have we made in our football after so many years? I keep repeating, it’s this mentality that keeps us behind. I call it foolish pride.

Modified
How do u even throw such a line as regards Eze, no single player is bigger than Nigeria. It baffles me.

BascoVanVeli:
I am not throwing any punches I am speaking facts. When somebody doesn't want to go with simple reasoning what do u want me to say?

England will know to keep hands off if he simply tells them he is waiting for Nigeria.

@ the bolded, no single player is bigger than our national team and yes he needs us more than we need him. There is only one Dele Alli but there are hundreds of Nigerian boys who never even smelled 3 lions. If he is being honest he should know that Nigeria is were his best opportunity lies

We need to find solutions to our unique problems. That’s what UEFA did. It’s an African problem. We are not thinking. Even if we think, we do not do.

Earthquake1:
The UEFA Nations league have given European teams opportunity to call up as many players of one or double descent as they like and play them in competitive matches

Africa needs to respond with a similar league else European nations will be far ahead in competitive nature and pool of talents

Europe is planning to keep the world cup for many decades with this Nations league
