Actually I like his criteria. so no more clamoring for Ajagun etc..
Go by your own standard mr. forgiveness
Mujtahida:
He didn't pass the two test namely to play in the top ten leagues in the world and top ten team in the best league or outside. Belgium is ranked number 12 by the bleacherreport.com (fails test one) http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2691880-ranking-the-most-entertaining-leagues-in-world-football

Ajagun plays for KV Kortrijik ranked number 14 out of 16 teams in the Belgian Jupiler.(fails test two) See attached screenshot of teams in the Belgian top flight

So you see! Even by your own test, your own criteria, your own standard, Ajagun and I am sure so many other players you clamour for fail.

While I like your test I know it is not the ultimate criteria.

Oh yes there are also players with potentials in so called back water leagues.

kingphilip:
but someone up there was inferring that quality players are not found in back water leagues in which to him Belgium falls in so he needs to go to a better league to meet better defenders and that was the reason i had to bring in Alves and PSG into the comment to show that even among top opposition he did it and its not once in which we might say maybe twas his lucky day but TWICE
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 2:55pm On Nov 01, 2017
sir we can start analyzing. Let's talk about all the England-bred players that were given a chance.. How many really came good?

komekn:
Firstly Rohr can not do everything he will have to rely on some people and recieve and accept reports from them.

If those members of the scouting team are from the NFF then we'll you know what's happening.

Then you ask what was the nature content and process management and delivery that led them to think he is good enough.

For most Francophone countries in Africa the first port of call is the French league. It's simple that's where the largest overwhelming number of thier players are.

Where is the largest pool of overwhelming number of Nigerian origin players outside of Nigeriahuh huh huh

Add to that the level of available quality. Then what on earth are you scouting for players in Norway for.

There is no EPL academy without a considerable number of Nigerian players. From the EPL to league one there are way too many Nigerian players who are not on the radar of the English FA.

Onyekuru is good. But he needs to play in that hight level regularly. It will bring the best out of him.

kingphilip:
are we still talking about the quality of Onyekwuru here?

the guy that dealt with one of the world best 2 on the 2 occasions they met and some persons here are expecting him to show it outside the Belgium league..

I never knew PSG now plays in the Belgium league undecided

Some will succeed. We can either look at those who succeeded or those who failed. Two perspectives.

komekn:
That's if they are good enough.

Many far better players have stepped up to the EPL and flopped.

Remember Memphis Depay big money transfer then voted best young player in the world. Scoring for fun in the Eredivisie infact was top goal scorer.

Comes to the EPL with Man.U and after two seasons and 53 games only 7 goals. A guy who at 21 was scoring 30 plus in a season in the Eredivisie. Meanwhile he is still only 23 ( real age) so he has time on his side.

NIGERIANS IN THE BUNDESLIGA

#SuperEagles Radar (Bundesliga): Deji Beyreuther Announce Coming. Balogun Benched
https://spotkik.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/DejiBeyreuther.jpg
Deji Beyreuther | eintracht.de

GERMANY (ROUND 10)

FSV Mainz 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt
Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun was kept in Mainz’s dugout, while Austrian-Nigerian forward, Karim Onisiwo was unavailable for selection due to a shoulder injury.

18 year-old German-Nigerian left back, Deji Beyreuther, made his first Bundesliga appearance in the visitor’s match-day squad. It is rumored that Deji has pledged his allegiance to Nigeria ahead of his country of birth, Germany.

Hannover 4-2 Dortmund
Noah-Joel Sarenren-Bazee was not involved in Hannover’s victory over Dortmund, as he is still on the road to recovery from injury, and is expected to return later in November. Sarenren Bazee tore his tendon during pre-season.

Shalke 1-1 Wolfsburg
Ohis Felix Uduokhai has been present in Wolfsburg’s defense-line lately. He clocked another 90 minutes, whereas, Victor Osimhen sat in Wolfsburg’s bench for the entire duration. Belgian forward Divock Origi was the scorer of Die Wölfe’s only goal, while Mario Gomez had failed to convert from the spot earlier. Both strikers are said to be ahead of Osimhen in the pecking order.

Hertha Berlin 2-1 Hamburger
Jordan Torunarigha came in from the bench one minute into extra time. He did his little bit for the considerable short time he spent in the pitch to keep the scoreline safe for Hertha’s home win.

Hoffenheim 1-3 Monchengladbach
Kevin Akpoguma’s Hoffenheim lost at home to Monchengladbach after making his second start after he made his debut for the senior side in the previous round. Keven made 53 passes, out of which 43 were accurate, with 2 areal duels won and 1 dribble completed.

@bolded, RIGHT

Mujtahida:
Do you know that in law how you obtain your evidence does not matter? Once it passes the twin criteria of relevance and admissibility it would be accepted even if you stole it, bribed to get it or duped someone to get it.

I am not justifying wuru wuru sha but just to let you know that this your university analogy is not apt for this case. Cos I don't think it's wrong for scouts and agents to say 'hey Coach, I got this sweet player, would you mind trying him out?' Even parents with talented kids do that. The issue should not be how you got called because Kog45 has shown that players get called through different means. If you were in a position to influence things today now, you'd make sure Tega, Aluko, Tammy, Onomah are invited and if they cut it fine.

The only problem will be where the player(s) is tested and falls short and yet still continues to feature in the team thereby robbing some other quality player of his opportunity and ultimately the team.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:37pm On Oct 31, 2017
Organization has always been our problem. By now the NFF should have a team responsible for interfacing with these lads. And this team should be people who understand how thing go in the UK etc. in terms of culture and how to approach engage them.
Take for example Pinnick seem not to be aware that children abroad are pretty independent when making life decisions. In fact if you tell a 19 year old you will get him to do something just because of your relationship with his father, he will want to prove to you that hes can actually make his own decision. I'm sure u know what I mean. So Nigerians will always be Nigerians in the way we operate. But we have noticed an improvement in our efforts towards pushing for a switch, and that's the case i've been making.

komekn:
It's not everything I can say.

I find it disconcerting when I talk to Nigerian origin players and they say to me. Haven't heard nuttin yet.

Has Ifeanyi Matthew ever been called up? Or are we mistaking him for Ifeanyi Ifeanyi. Maybe just my error.
junnyjake:
Manu Garba Magic – Uzoho, Nwakali Makes It Nine Players From 2013 U17 In Eagles

The all conquering Nigeria U17 team of 2013 is on the verge of becoming the most successful Nigerian youth team in history judging by the number of players who have progressed to the senior national team.

Four years from when they won the U17 World Youth Championship, nine of the players from the team have progressed to the senior national team of Nigeria, a number which could potentially swell in the coming future.

Lead by coach Manu Garba, the team won the U-17 World Youth Championship in the UAE, but FIFA has continually reminded nations that the essence of the tournament is primarily to develop players, and not about lifting the trophy.

So far the 2013 U17 team are fufilling the primary aim of the tournament, as the recent invitation of Deportivo La Coruna 18 year old goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho and on loan Manchester City midfielder Chidiebere Nwakali brings to nine, the number of players who have progressed to the Super Eagles.

Known for his hardwork, honesty and quiteness, Manu can also boast of more players from his 2013 team in the Super Eagles, with the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi on loan from Liverpool to Mouscron of Belgium, and Musa Yahaya at FC Porto knocking on the doors of the first team of their respective teams.

Full List of 2013 U17 Team Called Up To Super Eagles
1. Dele Alampasu
2. Francis Odinaka Uzoho
3. Ifeanyi Matthew
4. Wilfred Ndidi
5. Musa Muhammad
6. Kelechi Iheanacho
