Hello gentlemen and ladies. I submitted passports of my kids for stamping at Abuja office through UPS courier - separate forms and passport in smaller envelope, then enclosed in a bigger envelope (one way) and paid N20k plus for the service. when it was ready for collection, I duplicated what looked like an indemnity form they emailed me and paid same N20k plus for delivery of the 3 passports. The next day I was called by a lady who mentioned I need to pay separate fees for the 3 passports. Please I want to know from those of us in the same category whether that’s the way it works now. It’s a family package(my kids). Pls your feedback will me know how next to approach VFS Abuja on this. I have asked the lady to email me directing me to pay for separate courier fees for the 3 passports if that’s the way they work now. Waiting for responses guys!!! @ just wise @justmellow and others |

Good day friends, I’m currently in Canada studying. I applied for my family to join me June this year, (SOWP for spouse and VV for our kids who are all above 5years) my spouse application was approved within 5weeks while our kids applications were cancelled because we were informed that we applied for the wrong service…(we were given 30days to reapply so the fees paid for VV will suffice)…...meaning they should be applying for study permits. Now that we are ready to reapply we need to know how to go about it using my spouse GCkey profile because I have not been able to figure it out. I tried filling a study permit form on her profile and it turned out that my child is not eligible meaning I got the process wrong. I will need the help of anyone who understands how to go about it. Gurus in the building I will appreciate your urgent help here. Rgds |

@ RuggedArab, From my personal assessment, the VOs were not comfortable with the fixed funds you presented. You need to liquidate and possibly pay larger portion of your tuition fees to show more commitment to your program in view. That some applicants have scaled through using fixed funds doesn't guarantee any/every other person. Every other documents and assets presented are good. I want to believe that other people in the platform have given their honest review which will help you. Do not relent.keep pushing . I hope this helps. RuggedArab: |

@jaydave, COVID-19 is history and as such vaccine documents are currently not part of boarding documents at the Nigerian Airports/connecting airports and at your POE. However, ensure you have your letter of introduction (printed copy) from the IRCC....it's mandatory after visiting the declaration machine I hope this helps. jaydave: |

@ BULLSTRIKER, it depends on how long the studies he/she completed online is and it SURE has negative impact on PGWP if it's longer than necessary. One to two months in an 18months program MAY not but anything 3months and above will definitely impact on the PGWP. I hope this helps bullstriker: |

@Ucy12, Sorry about your refusal......it will surely end in praise if you do not relent. You may want to use ..... thegcmsonline.com to order for your CBSA of GCMS notes directly. You will only need to pay the Naira equivalent using your Naira debit Card which is not more than 6k NGN for either of the notes aforementioned.Whereas GCMS takes longer time in the recent months CBSA do not from my personal experience. I hope this helps!!!!!!! See you at the top. . Ucy12: 3 Likes |

@Eseosajoy, Using persons other than your parents or mother's children are regarded as THIRD PARTIES and IRCC usually frawns at this. I will not advise that you do so.Alternatively you can channel it through your parents/or immediate family to make your case look better. How ever, if you need to push this narration....you will need him to pay atleast reasonable portion of your tuition fees to your school to show his commitment to the project. You will also need to define your relationship with him before the IRCC I hope this helps. @Oldfashioned145, Don't use agent's site to check or book flights.Their rates are usually higher.Visit the sites of the airline of your choice EXCEPT you have serious bucks to spend. Also try African Airlines instead of the likes of Emirates, Qatar and British Airlines if you want cheaper tickets. I got RETURN TICKET for less than 650k I hope this helps. Oldfashioned145: |

@ Lixusheng, You will need to have a print out of the following document: Letter of introduction from IRCC (Mandatory) Bank statement Enrollment letter (if ready and available) Evidence of Tuition fees payment (either part or full) All the above are major. I hope this helps. Lixusheng: 1 Like |

@padie77, You will have a lot of work to do convincing IRCC about your relationship with your friend's dad here. a) Has he sponsored you in your previous studies in the past with evidence? In any case, he will need to credit your account with the funds (significant value) covered with a GIFT DEED or pay your Tuition fees (either part or full) direct to your school to show SERIOUS COMMITMENT!!!!!!! Letter of sponsorship from him alone without concrete evidence such as above may be too loose to push your case. Adding your late Dad's property is also add weight to your application. I hope this helps. padie77: |

@ Franklynjonin, COVID have gone....they don't ask for vaccination card or any stuff relating to COVID-19. After checking you will be required to fill your details on the yellow card including name and proper address of your destination and the person receiving you. I hope this helps FranklynJonin: 1 Like |

@ Old-fashioned 145, All you need is your flight ticket and Visa. You can come along with your enrollment letter (optional) before boarding (Ethiopian Airlines) But you will need to get a print out of the following to present at your POE: ........Letter of introduction from IRCC, (Compulsory) Others incase you are asked depending on the Border officer attending to you shaaa. .........Evidence of Part Tuition fees payment .........Bank Statement ......... Enrollment letter. God gave me a preferential treatment at the Border along side few others. The long queue of over 90 persons was not moving at all.An officer came and broke the queue in front of me and moved us to another set of Border Officers (Toronto Airport),took our letter of introduction from IRCC and moved them in while we were asked to sit down at a very comfortable location.Few minutes letter we were called upon each for our study permit pickup and passport stamping in.No questions whatsoever unlike those on the other side we were moved from. @ Franklynjonin, You will be qualified for PTA from any commercial bank of your interest if you have valid return ticket of your choice airline. However, how much you access and within what time it takes depends on your banker and who you really know that can push the transaction for you faster. While Access bank,Gtbank and 1st bank will load (pay) the FX on a dollar card with maximum threshold of 4kUSD, Zenith bank avails maximum of 2,500USD cash. You can travel with a maximum of 10k USD and you must not have a Canadian bank account prior to your trip. You don't need covid 19 vaccine or arrivecan to embark on your trip to Canada I arrived Canada two days ago (This Thursday).I'm writing authoritatively from the place of experience and knowledge. I hope this helps. All the best!!!!! FranklynJonin: 7 Likes |
