That's how the mind of the enslaved and subjugated works. It is those on the outside that would see what is wrong. Those under the subjugation hardly see anything wrong unless their very existence is under threat or their mind is broken from mental enslavement.

The same way nigerians keep quiet and do not want to fight to dissolve the british colony called nigeria. That is how those from other continents would wonder why blacks are so content being under neocolonialism. And just how you rarely bother about the hausa enslavement, likewise how others in advanced continents rarely bother about our own enslavement under nigeria.
