Kanu's case, I think I can say, is a direct result of the ineptitude of the Nigerian govt. If they had not been so lax, especially with the fulani herdsmen running riot, I doubt Kanu would have gone to the extent he did. Probably he'd still be holding rallies and at worst, cause some nuisance here and there. But he wouldnt have gotten to the extent to which it got.

Nigerian govt also must sentence themselves for shooting protesters at Lekki tollgate. The Nigerian government too is crazy, which made Kanu also go crazy. The Nigerian government, thus, is as guilty as Kanu for not protecting life in the first place.
