GeoAfrikana:And who told you Muslims have the highest population in Nigeria? Even in your Lagos here. There are more Christians than Muslims. There are 25% Christian population in most northern state and even more in some states. Can this be said of any southern state? Don't rely on the fraudulent cencus. If they dare, they should release the data from the PVC registration showing everyone's religion. |
osazsky:The guy who owns a laundry close to my place irons in the night. That's when we have light. He can manage that until he makes enough money to buy a generator. |
Wheezy123:Well you are among the lucky ones. But stop advising people to go into blogging with the mindset of becoming millionaire. It doesn't work for everyone. |
talk2oxii:Start service businesses. I will advice investing in a laundry and barbing shop. * The laundry can cost you about 300k. You can run it yourself. *Open a barbing shop with the remaining 200k and have the barber pay you a fixed amount weekly. However if you want to invest the whole money in a single business, then I will advice you open a boutique. All the guys I know in trans Amadi that had boutiques are big boys today with very large stores. 500k can go a long way in establishing a big shop. You should always consider the location for all the stated businesses. Good luck. |
Wheezy123:Yea. Its that easy. Just write contents and you will become a millionaire. Let me ask you. Are you a millionaire? |

Sharming95:And you came to this powerful conclusion from just one picture which may even be a photo taken years back. How people dress is irrelevant, all the ones we have that are wearing suits up and down with bald head, what have they achieved? Here's a better photo.

adedayoa2:As I said ma, it depends on the school. There are several schools where mass com is in the management faculty and economics becomes the core subject instead of Lit-in-eng. Eg. Rivers state university. |
adedayoa2:If Mass com is under the faculty of management in a school, literature won't be considered. |
AJOBI77:1. Maths 2. English 3. Econs 4. Civic 5. Islamic Studied You can study mass communication. Most schools would also accept you for social science courses like accounting, bar, et al. You can confirm from the admission office of your preferred school before choosing them. |
Showbby28:He said he was recommended by the MD of the company, which I think is an advantage. Moreover, Working with Indians also has it positives, experience wise. I have a friend who has worked in two companies with Indians, earning below 40k. Annoying bunch. Today, due to the experience from his time there, he is in a job with an international company that pays over 150k. |
I would advise you continue with the job. If your long term goal is to become a successful career person, then take the work as your stepping stone. It would be difficult for you to get a good job without experience. There is a chance that the company may retain you, so continue working, at least to gain experience in any way you can. Money agent business my seem lucrative now. But have in mind that your chances of getting a better job is higher when you are currently working. See My Signature for Personal finance guides |
kernniejay:The article is focused on why employees go broke before month end. Which is mostly due to the stated reasons. Meanwhile, Companies mostly go broke because of mismanagement or bad business dealings which can be avoided. There are those earning the minimum wage who still live comfortably on it every month. |
thesicilian:Boss, Money is never enough even for the wealthy. It all depends on how you manage it. |
Does this question sound familiar? I’m very sure every job seeker had had that moment of contemplating whether or not to send an application. You find yourself thinking about whether you should; * Apply now or wait till morning? * Apply in the weekend or wait till the next Monday? * Apply early in the morning or wait till now? The truth is, the time you send out an application is an essential determinant whether you will get a response. It is important to apply when the HR or recruitment officer can find and review your application. Have in mind that your application can be covered by tons of other mails if you send it at the wrong time. In such a case, you won’t get a response. BEST TIME TO SEND AN APPLICATION To answer this question, we spoke with recruiters and industry experts, and here is a summary of our findings. * Never apply for a job in the evening or night, except the recruiter requests that or application expires that day. * Do not send your application during the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays). Most companies don’t open on weekends, and your application may have been covered by other mails before Monday. * Don’t send your application too early in the morning. Except to beat a deadline. #The best time to send your application is within 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. #The best days to submit a job application are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I hope this helps. "It is not what you earn, that determines what you become. It is what you do with what you earn” Most people fail to realize this. They put so much thought into how much they are earning instead of thinking of ways to improve on their current income. It has been proven severally that a person’s income isn’t a determinant of their financial success. Earning a higher income only makes it faster to attain your financial goals. For instance, a person earning $10000 monthly will save up money for business faster than someone that earns $2000. That doesn’t mean that the man earning $2000 won’t save up to that. It will only take more months or years. How to become rich with your current pay The person earning lower may even start small and grow the business over time. It all depends on your mindset…. For you to attain financial freedom, you need to have a change of mindset and see things differently. Here are some things that can help. Save and increase your savings gradually Your Savings Is Your Only Way to Financial Freedom. People spend years on the same job with nothing to show for it. They earn and spend it all before the end of the month and continue the cycle next month. You can never achieve financial freedom with such mentality. You need to entrench the habit of saving a part of your income, whether daily, weekly, or monthly. If women who earn little sums can save part of it to invest in their business, how much more a salary earner whose money comes in bulk every month. Read Five Reasons You Go Broke Before The End of The Month. If you are working and have no other source of income asides your salary, then there is trouble. What happens if you are retrenched? What happens if your company is unable to pay you for a month? I know these are pessimistic thoughts, but in reality, it happens. In 2016, a neighbor brought a new air conditioner to my place, looking to sell. This man had three cars and worked with a top company until he was retrenched due to the economic downturn. Just three months after he stopped working, he started selling things. It was when he brought the air condtioner to sell that he told me he had sold two of his cars. I was surprised. What will make a man who was earning almost 400k go broke in a few months? Lack of savings… He always got his paycheck and used it to buy expensive things for the house without saving. Fortunately, he was called back to his job. I chatted him one day about the need to save, and he said he had learned his lessons. Saving part of your income is extremely important. You can either learn from knowledge or learn from experience like my neighbor. Use a Budget to Save Properly Budget isn’t something new. You are already living within a budget, whether you like it or not. When you earn a salary of $2,000 or $10,000, you try as much as possible not to spend above what you earn. Your spending is restricted by your income. If you want to spend above your income, you have to borrow. If that isn’t living within a budget, then I don’t know what it is. Read 5 Top Saving Mobile Apps for Nigerians I’m not asking you to do something new. Budgeting only helps you to give your spending a proper shape. So you can save part of it. Determine what to spend with the $2000 before it comes. If you are not saving part of whatever you earn as a youth, you are setting yourself up for a disaster. When a wife or husband comes along, the responsibility expands geometrically. Freedom from anything comes at a price; in this case, the cost of regulating your expenditure. Having a budget allows you to achieve this. It will be very easier to save up a considerable sum if you can follow a simple budget. Think of all the wages and bonuses you have received over the years, can you remember how you spent them? I can bet you don’t know because you just spent it as it came. If a country with billions of dollars to spend needs a budget, how much more you with a few thousand. Further Read: Here is How to Prepare a Simple Monthly Budget How To Keep to Your Budget[/b] Track your money The more thought you put into your money, the better you become at regulating your spending and attaining higher returns on your expenditure. If you carefully scrutinize your expenditure, you will realize that you spend so much money on things you necessarily don’t need. Working with a budget helps you track where your money goes. People are surprised when I tell them that feeding consumes most of their budget. They don’t know because they don’t track their spending. If you don’t track what you spend, then how can you plan to achieve your goals? http://financenuggets.com/how-you-can-become-rich-with-your-current-earning/
