WiLdFLame:Lol, you still don't get it. all everyone in the PDP care about, is getting the presidency. That was why they even gave Atiku ticket. Nothing more. 2023 will alao be about taking over the presidency. They would choose a candidate from the region whichoffers the best chance to win. |

fk001:1. You are an Olodo. 2. Did they buy the land that were taken from them? 3. Are they giving free land to igbos in the North, or do igbos buy those lands? Answer question 2 and 3 and then revert to my first statement. In my community if you are allocated a community land for a project and you fail to do it. They will take back the land Shikina |
Anyone who knows El rufai would agree he lost the election. But, you guys didn't say anything when El rufai tweaked Kaduna result to favour Buhari. Unfortunately he used the same template for the governorship. I bring greetings from Karma. |

Five governors elected under the ruling All Progressives Congress are working for the opposition People’s Democratic Party’s candidate, Alhaji Abubakar. The governors, LeadersNG learned have been working for the Nigerian former Vice President since he left the ruling All Progressives Congress for the PDP. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is contesting for Presidency under the platform of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party against the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC who is seeking for re-election. An informed source at the Atiku Campaign Organization told our Correspondent that the governors have been very helpful in championing Atiku’s cause in their various states. “Though the governors have not openly campaigned nor endorsed my principal, but I can tell you in confidence that they are working to get Nigeria working again”. The source further stated that the APC governors working for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar are mostly those who believe the current President hasn’t done enough to deserve second term and the ones who had fallen out with their party chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. “Apart from the overwhelming support that we have enjoyed thus far from Nigerians, the Five APC governors and some of their stalwarts are solidly behind us and have pledged their allegiance to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.” Another source who pleaded anonymity said, the APC governors set up a special structure in their states for Atiku. Many of them deliberately refused to put their pictures alongside President Buhari’s own in their posters so it won’t jeopardize their chances in the coming governorship elections. You would recall how former minister of Women and Social development, Senator Aisha Alhassan had 2017, swore “to Allah” to resign as Minister in the event that President Muhammadu Buhari decides to seek re-election. This, she did, minutes after reaffirming her loyalty to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar. “Atiku has been my godfather even before I joined politics. And again, Baba Buhari did not tell us that he is going to run in 2019,” Aisha explained to BBC Hausa radio. “Let me tell you today that if Baba says he is going to contest in 2019, I swear to Allah, I will go before him and kneel and tell him that ‘Baba I am grateful for the opportunity you gave me to serve your government as a Minister but Baba just like you know I will support only Atiku because he is my godfather… if Atiku says he is going to contest.” Nigerians will tomorrow go to the Polls to elect a new leader after the postponement of the last Saturday’s Presidential elections. All efforts to reach the aides to some of the governors as at the time of filing this report proved abortive. Thee PIB, which has been debated for over a decade, aims to improve transparency, attract investors, stimulate growth and increase government revenues. The Petroleum Industry Bill is gaining more attention in Nigeria’s National Assembly as the current administration plans to create a powerful energy regulator. Analysing the PIB, a report by KPMG showed that the bill seeks to establish a framework for the creation of commercially-oriented and profit-driven petroleum entities, to ensure value addition and internationalisation of the petroleum industry, through the creation of efficient and effective governing institutions with clear and separate roles for the petroleum industry. The bill is the first in a series of long-awaited laws designed to reform the Nigerian oil and gas industry. Reuters reports that the PIB has been debated for well over a decade, but the current National Assembly has been able to break this contentious legislation into sections to help it pass into law. The governance part of the bill was passed by both houses of parliament in January 2018 leaving the onus on President Muhammadu Buhari, who is also Nigeria’s oil minister to assent the bill into law. The PIB aims to improve transparency, attract investors, stimulate growth and increase government revenues. If you haven't caught up with the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill or PIB, here is a highlight that will bring you up to speed. 1. The Bill establishes Policy and general strategy formulator This bill will empower the minister for petroleum resources to setting overall policy and direction for the petroleum industry as a whole. The PIB also grants the minister preemptive rights to all petroleum products in the country in the event of a national emergency. This will also strip the minister of the power to grant, renew, amend, extend or revoke any lease or license issued pursuant to the provisions of the act. It’s important to note that under the PIB, the petroleum minister cannot create any new entities. 2. The PIB establishes the regulator This institution, the National Petroleum Regulatory Commission, will be charged with regulating the entire industry. The NPRC will replace the current Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), the Petroleum Inspectorate and the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA). Hence, the NPRC shall be responsible for regulating the entire industry. The NPRC functions will cut across the downstream, midstream and upstream sectors. 3. Creation of the commercial Institution known as the Nigeria Petroleum Assets Management Company (NAPAMC) The Nigeria Petroleum Assets Management Company will be tasked by the PIB withholding and managing the assets and interests of the Government. The NAPAMC shall be incorporated as a company limited by shares within 6 months from the effective date of the bill. NAPAMC shall be responsible for managing all assets currently being held by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) under the Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) and Back-in-right provisions of the Petroleum Act of 1969, as amended. 4. NAPAMC will be managed as a commercial entity The shares of NAPAMC shall be held by the Ministry of Petroleum Incorporated (40%), the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (40%) and the Bureau of Public Enterprises (20%). The NAPAMC will be governed and managed based on the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) and the Code of Corporate Governance issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission. 5. Ancillary Institutions The PIB will see the creation of ancillary institutions tasked with the provision of specific support services assigned to them. The ancillary institutions created will be Ministry of Petroleum Incorporated (MOPI), The Nigerian Petroleum Liability Management Company (NAPLMC) and The Petroleum Equalisation Fund (PEF or the Equalisation Fund). While the NAPLMC will within 12 months from its date of incorporation, ascertain the liabilities of the NNPC and lay out a clear plan and timeline for its settlement after which it shall be liquidated, the PEF will be set up to enhance development of all regions of the federation by ensuring economic balance in the price of petroleum products. https://www.pulse.ng/bi/politics/politics-5-things-we-know-about-the-petroleum-industry-bill/f0xbx5h |
Hypocrisy at its peak. This is the Fg proposing to sell NNPC. The same decision they are kicking against today.

Ahmad bin Hambal, the 8th century Muslim jurist regarded as 'the most significant exponent of the traditionalist approach in Sunni Islam,' was asked: 'Who’s more appropriate to lead? A trustworthy weak leader or an immoral strong leader?' He replied: 'As for the trustworthy weak leader, his trustworthiness is to himself, but his weakness is to the disadvantage of the nation. While the immoral strong leader, his immorality is to himself, while his strength is to the advantage of the nation.'" Well, Buhari is neither trustworthy nor strong. He is weak, untrustworthy, immoral, and unjust. No good Muslim should ever elect a man like him. But for many, the religion is only a ritual and a marker of identity; its moral precepts aren't internalized. This quote is being shared widely by Muslims on social media. |
Russi:I didnt expect less from a Zomb, diverting as usual. A very simple task. Well, its only ignorant people who think hiring PR experts is a bad thing. I know friend who work as one, and even local businesses in the US, hires Image makers. Crawl back to your hole boy, and stop quoting me. |
This is APC in 2015 Condemning Mbu for asking pllicemen to shoot back at anyone who shoots at them.

That the reply you should give anyone who asks you why you are worried about GMB's proclamation to kill ballot box snatchers. They would say "why are you worried, do you plan to snatch ballot boxes". No I don't, but am worried because our police officers and military men are known for recklessly killing innocent Nigerians. It took the like of Segalinks and Ruggedman to end Sars killing. A man was killed by a custom officers just a few days back because of N5,000. ....................... Let's imagine the scenerio. • There are about 100 persons on a line, waiting to vote. • Then 2 guys comes to snatch boxes, shooting in the air. • People start running, trying to hide. • Police and army opens fire on the two guys - while civilians are still trying to hide. I hope you see the disaster here. .......................... A lady was hit by flying bullet in her corridor in porharcourt, sometimes last year. The police officers that shot her, were supposedly chasing cultists. Cultist they didn't catch. Next time when you are supporting shooting, try to imagine loosing someone you love to flying bullet. |
mknigeriagreat:Thats how you guys keep ranting until you lose someone close to you due to reckless shooting. They should kill ballot snatchers on sight, arrest bokoharam terrorists? Turninoninown brain. |
yrex01:Nightmare how, well he's and best portrays the illustration. The fact that you admire the guy means I'm right. ![]() ............................... You know you have to start small. Visit the nearest motor park and ask how to become a member. |
yrex01:If you are educated, then its a pity your parents wasted their money. There's no difference between your mentality and the of MC Olomo of NURTW. |
According to a source, “this is Atiku’s main driver for this election. The source revealed; “He gave Secondus and Wike Intels shares to secure the PDP ticket. Atiku rolled in billions year in year out from 2010 when the 28 per cent deal was signed. Lol, this is the lowest form of Propaganda. Wike never liked Atiku, he prefered adn supported Tambuwal, who came second. Wike Stormed out of the Convention venue after Atiku won. This is what we expect from the Apc all through the week. This Blogger, if they catch and sue you for defamation, hope you won't be crying foul. If you get a document and can't verify its authenticity, then don't write about it. |
yrex01:Supporting what Buhari said with all the extra-judicial killings going on in the country, shows most of yoi can't think on your own. The funny thing is that, if Buhari or the APC comes back and retracts the statement. All of you will automatically be against it. Hailing whatever new shit they say. Your brain is turnoninown |
handie:You think its every one that brings what they do to the media. I ill give you an assignment. Go to Atiku's twitter handle and scrolll down to 2016-2017 to see how he had been xontributing to the north. I used that period so you don't say iys because of elections. |
jpphilips:The fact that you dont read isn't my problem. I read and I'm well informed. Atiku has a plan - a list of things he would do. If he fails to do them when elected, We will also vote him out. ..................................... Buhari on the other hand has no laid down plan. What are his plans? You can tell me..... |
So you wrote a full page on someone's statement without even understanding the statement? Atiku wants to sell NNPC, is that all you heard? He said, NNPC will be listed on the stock exchange market to allow NIGERIANS buy shares from it, whilethe FG hold apart of it. This way, there will be transparency in their operations. Isn't that better than what we have today? Moreover, most of the countries you Listed including Quarta are working to sell theirs. Read up my dear. There's a comprehansive plan that wil clarify things for you. |
OmoManU:Why are you quoting me? Try to read what happened between Davdo and the said girl before blabbing. |
When you finish ranting. Tell us what buhari has done to improve the ones that weren't sold. Its as simple as it is. Government do not have any BUSINESS doing BUSINESS. The responsibility of any government is to create an atmosphere that enable businesses thrive and Buhari has failed to do that. No government today is looking to build companies. no, SME's is the way forward and a mindset like yours is the reason Nigeria is still stagnated. |
